'So, philosophical question for discussion, is the sex tourism industry here +EV or -EV for the people of Pattaya!?'

Not even sure why I'm bothering, but acknowledge see a pretty shaky argument that it's +EV in the short short term. Can't see a logical argument that it's +EV long term. Much like playing on apps I guess

Just to clarify there may or may not have been directly racist comments, but when someone reacts to racism as "omg, someone said ___! grow up." It kind of implies that they think a little bit of racism is okay. Obviously not.

Racism extends way back into a person's history, and they would have dealt with it a lot growing up. So it's a little bit more than just an "insecurity" implying it's something wrong with themselves. Obviously some people can't see past that because they were born white in Australia.

I'm sure karma is a real thing and somebody's gonna get aids banging all these hookers someday.

For people of Pattaya? It probably is, a lot of business opportunities, work possibilities etc. Just like slavery was very +EV for one side. But I'm pretty sure that those girls who were lured to Pattaya with promises for better life and then being forced to work as prostitutes, with their passport taken away and their children being in danger if they don't comply, they don't brush their teeth in the morning full of joy with and urge to high5 all those sex tourists for the wonderful opportunities created because of them. Human trafficking and modern day slavery is real, and it's simply amazing how you can even ask if sex tourism in unregulated market is +EV for people.

I guess this is not the right place to talk about it as I'll be called "idiot" right away and you'll find reasons to justify hooker grind anyway.

I'm out, no hard feelings. Good luck with poker journey! My advice - think twice before stating something, and don't be afraid to admit when you're wrong.

Wishing someone to get aids is probably not the best way to earn karma points for yourself..

I love how people start bringing masculinity into it, terms like 'snowflakes' etc. are perfect examples of privileged-ignorant white men not wanting their little worlds to change. I think for the most part Meale has been misunderstood with the 'wog' term, as I posted earlier on it is a very common term in Australia and there are several movies and tv series which use it. Although I wasn't a fan of him using the term 'abo', he was open to others' thoughts on how a term like that can affect people and growing up in Queensland it would be pretty ingrained in his vernacular. The other posters jumping on the bandwagon and abusing those who are pointing out that some of that stuff is offensive are just showing themselves to be part of the problem, but again, they will just respond to this post with terms like 'idiot', 'soft', 'snowflake' etc. which they don't realise just further proves the point.

Yeah, I wonder how many are doing it of their own accord and how prolific the human trafficking stuff is.

Good post!

=========================

Played not long today as I was busy doing a bunch of study stuff after a long coaching session. Won't bother posting graph because it was like 700 hands and I think I lost about a buyin.

Diet Switch Up

So I jumped on the scale today and was 85kg exactly. At the start of this thread, like less than a month ago? I was 95kg. So 10kg down in a month is... actually kind of concerning. I feel like I maaay be losing some muscle given I'm in such a massive caloric deficit with the OMAD.

So what I'm going to do is the following schedule,

Day 1: Carb load before bed
Day 2: Leg day, massive amounts of protein post workout (caloric surplus day)
Day 3: fast
Day 4: train chest/shoulds, keto refeed (refeed should be 48 hours after last meal on leg day)
Day 5: train back/arms, keto refeed, then before bed carb load again and resume at day 2.

So it's basically bulking, fasting, and keto OMAD at different times throughout the week. Hopefully I get some more protein into my diet by doing this and some more calories.

I've just bought 4 dori fillets, 800grams of chicken breast, and 2 salads which I'm planning on eating after legs tomorrow.

You're not dropping over 10% of your weight in a month without losing muscle. Doesnt even matter if you did so by fasting, had perfectly aligned chakras and took a salt water bath in a room with perfect fang shui.

+1

Not sure if it’s just omission of details, but every meal you’ve posted (albeit not many) have been “keto bro, steak cheese and eggs” - I’m sensing an aversion to veggies with the diet choice and it’s concerning considering the length of your fasting periods. The relatively tiny eating windows necessitate getting all your necessary nutrients in a timely manner, and fiber is so important for way more than just helping you crap. Veggie sources are low calorie, filled with necessary vitamins/micronutrients, and will really help you maintain solid cell health. Check out Rhonda Patrick discussing its effects on that:

Forgot who mentioned it earlier, but I find myself randomly yelling “keep it comin’, chink!” whenever I suckout in a pot online. I’m getting a lot from this thread
Big fan of Dr. Rhonda Patrick. Actually spouting broccoli and we speak. (She has videos on how good broccoli spouts are for you)

Nice! Sprouts are great, good for throwing in a smoothie or making a nice salsa with.

I'm a big fan of her as well, she also discusses the effects of a meat-only diet in this interview with Joe Rogan (she's been on his podcast a lot):

TLDW; people who eat only meat or any high protein diet tend to eat less overall because satiety is higher, thus they may be tapping into the benefits of fasting without knowing it and contributing to their belief that it's just the meat. Understanding the mechanism behind why something works is more useful than jumping from diet to diet because there may exist ways to trigger that mechanism without adhering to such restriction. Also, such diets create chemical compounds in your body responsible for breaking down critical cells (she points out colon cells in the video) as well as plaque buildup which can lead long-term to higher risks of cancer and coronary artery disease.

or maybe I'm out of the loop... are white people being lynched in south east asia?

-coming from a white guy who's a minority in the country I live in. never experienced anything even close to what could be deemed racism

Is anyone being lynched in the US? Do you even know when the last lynching was?

And also, last time I checked you cannot be denied housing, a job or anything else on the basis of race. But it can actually HELP you to get into college (sorry Asians) and to actually help one get a job.

There is a population that looks for racism everywhere and is obsessed with intersectionality. If you look hard enough, everything is racist!!

I dont get why everyone in 2019 is doing these meme diets. Do you really need to go on the OMAD vegan keto paleo carbcycle with 2 day a week dry fasting? Why not eat a normal balanced diet and stop binging on junkfood. It reminds me of the women who go on these ridiculous detox diets, but its for men. Why have sausages became a weightloss food and rice is evil? Since you live in Thailand why dont you look around to see how many fat people there are who are eating white rice 24/7 and probably getting 80% of there calories from carbs. "Carbs make you fat" is the biggest BS!

very recently. 1981 was one of the last recorded lynchings of an african-american by the kkk. other minorities, like gay/trans people, continue to be killed all the time.

you're so ignorant it hurts.

If we are talking about Thailand where Meale is living:
- foreigners can't own land in Thailand by law
- if you marry a Thai girl in case scenario of a divorce you will loose 100% of your money invested there your ex wife will inherit 100% of your chit
- judicial system not the same for locals / foreigners and as a foreigner you will be punished more severely (same for bribe, gonna cost you more)
- in jobs, in work permits, in obtaining mortgages and car loans, foreigners are discriminated against to "protect Thais".

For the gays and ladyboys getting killed all the time, last time I checked gays and ladyboys are not a race so this has nothing to do with racism

Wow, if you think a country protecting itself from foreign investment is racism then you are beyond moronic.

my point is not that other countries don't discriminate in different ways. of course every country has racists and bigots as well as discriminatory laws and practices.

my point is that if you're a rich white guy choosing to live in a foreign country I'm not going to have much sympathy for your cries of "racism!" when it doesn't affect you like it affects people who are born impoverished, and their poverty is a direct result of centuries of racist policies and customs.
