This is probably my fourth or so PGC I went on a heater once in one and blew it all on hookers blow hotel rooms and blackjack.
I'm going to give this PGC my best shot ever, recently had a big awakening about my alcohol addiction and part of this blog will be me attempting to beat it
Background
Started with ftp, was on the old school forums and met some cool dudes, I forget most of there names and most have moved on with there lives, tretiak was a beast, dogglamite we were aim pals and casualdonk was in his early days.
I gave up poker for a bit, then found stars binked a Hubble freeroll with 10k entrants and the next day my old man who has now passed took me to the toy store to buy a 140 buck poker chip WSOP set.
I won my first pub tourney and started depositing and playing online on stars. I was a donk and remember the first hand 6 way all ins in the 90man Kos on FTP, if only I knew it was prob best to fold garbage there.
Anyway during work and then a uni degree I grinded, I ended up leaving a full time gig at a fruit shop to go to uni when my manager said U don't want to do what I'm doing in 20 yrs time as he was stacking apples next to me.
I did graduate from uni in 2012 bach of Commerce at a top uni in Australia, I got a good job upon leaving but alcohol led me to lose the job
That pattern repeated itself in most jobs I've had, I have also had drug addiction issues which led to the downfall of other jobs
I know this is a long op, and I will give cliffs if you want to stop reading here.
Upon getting my first job out of uni, and I do regret screwing it up 3 months in all I wanted to do was play poker, I feel like I've sabotaged most of my jobs because I'm passionate about poker more then anything.
My father passed away a couple years ago, I broke up with my gf who married a dude a month later it messed me up and I blew 280k in the space of a year, only money of that lost on poker was me shorting 1k-2k 500 mtts I was prob still winning at sub 50 mtts.

Since Aus banned stars I've had to move to other sites
I went from 280k to busto in no time through drug abuse, gambling, hookers and hotels, I have moved states and nos have a job in a call centre.
I've been 12 days sober now and I feel with enough support I can get my life on track and make back some of my Degen losses. I promise to share many stories of my past degeneracy in this thread
