Cliffs:
- 23 year old from europe;
- Playing poker semi-seriously for 6 months;
- Have my own company (familiy business) and do well for myself;
- Want to change my life around and will start here;
- Will start with 50€ playing HUSnG's;
- My last ~1k games I have a 8.5% ROI in a mix of games up to the 20s;

I'll be playing 7 days a week, 1 hour periods w/ 15-30 minutes intervals. Will try to put as much volume as possible (I'm counting around 13 sng's per hour). Playing anything between 6 hours and 12 hours per day.

My monthly expenses are really low... I only need around 500€ to cover all my basic expenses (food, rent, etc).

Before asking, yes, I have more money than this and have money to cover my expenses for at least a good 3 years, living well. So no, I'm not suicidal lol.

BR Management will be as following:
5s: 75€
10s: 200€
20s: 500€ - I think I can make a good living with a good ROI here -
50s: 1750€

So I'll start playing everything below the 5s until I have 75€.

Here's the graph of my last ~860 games.

Thanks.

So, the first mark of leaving the 3s and below is done. We're officially at a bankroll of 75.52€, which is pretty nice after a couple of sngs.

The graphs will be posted below!

Couple of notes:
* The use of overbets is really important in order to put pressure on capped ranges;
* Taking a break after each couple of HUs is really important also;

Results.

Making 7.46€/hour would be f*cking amazing but I know that these are just very short term results. Still happy with my results right now.

From now on I'll play a mix of 5s and 3s only. Once I reach 200€ I'll start adding in some 10s.

The day ended off pretty nicely. Since my last post, I started running like complete garbage, losing every flip and every all in situation when I was ahead but then everything started coming in nicely and we're set to a very good start to the thread.

The graph is below.
I don't see myself posting too many hands since most spots are pretty standard and since I play mostly hypers which keep the decisions pretty simple.

Anyone has any ideas on how to tilt people into accepting rematches? Like saying stuff in chat? When I win I generally start needling people trying to make them rematch me but generally they don't.

The bankroll is @ 122.46€ btw.

Today I didn't play too much volume but it worked out fine either way. I'm playing the 5s regularly now!

On my way to the 1k easy.

Hey man, will be following.

I was wondering if you have any material for beginning HU Hyper players?

Wanted to start adding a few into my session. I've done pretty well but I've been bumhunting them on ACR. Basically i'll sharkscope the person who registers and make my decision or not to play based on that. I've had decent success so far, but I feel as though I'm not playing very +ev.

I want to get some ranges down and basic strategy to beat the $2.10's on ACR.

Any advice would be HIGHLY appreciated!

Good luck boss.

Hey man! Thanks for the kind words!

I use that method too to game select (using pokerprolabs - it's faster)!
I have a lot of experience in 6-max so my postflop game (which is the most important thing in HU) is pretty good. Search for the mersennary ebook (it's free) and if you want something more advanced search the will tipton book which is more based on GTO, which is the kind of method I like to use... That's all I really know of tbh. Everything else I acquired with playing lots of hands postflop.

Here's the graph since the start of this thread.

Merry Christmas Morning!

Some fish started tilting off his money playing against me. For the first few matches we're break even because he was sucking out so hard on me (as you can see from the graph) but then it stopped and I absolutely destroyed him until he rage quit.

Thanks I guess

So, this happened... I forgot to mention that this happens to me very frequently. Literally lost every all in situation when I was ahead and lost around 10 matches in a row, always playing my A game and losing every all in when I was ALWAYS ahead. Pretty sick, uh?

Let's try to get back.

Damn those swings are so cruel, are you mainly playing turbos or hypers? I feel like the turbos don't run enough (except vs reg only) but hypers are boring

Mainly I play hypers because fish are so attracted to them, but I prefer turbos. Fish make so many mistakes in hypers... is just sick. And they get rewarded too many times... This is why you have to keep calm playing this type of game. I literally am running 12% below adjusted ROI!
