        love the thread!

What tab are you using in HM2 to get EV/bb graph? I can get the figure but not the graph.

I decided to spent Monday with my gf instead of grinding. Obviously my mind was in poker when she went to sleep and I was contemplating whether to have a very late session or study. When I logged in ''you know where'' I saw a fun promo running named suit race. I decided to play nl cash for the first time since 6 years or so

Games were super soft with many brazilian/swiss guys loading. I ran quite decent and what supposed to be 1 hour fun play, became 3.5 hours grind. I made a profit of 1k in ½ zoom. Not too shaby

Of course this wouldnt be a belthazor thread if I didnt whine about how I got 3 outered vs a rec on river again

For the sake of my own sanity I decided to load only in partypoker today

Finally I shipped my first tournament. Even though it was for a small amount it is nice to book a win after I lost the last 6-7 final tables. Also not winning a FT for a month felt really frustrating

            Total cev so far

The most positive is that in 50$+ abi with 80bb- my winrate is decent. Obviously there is much room for improvement and this is why I will focus at 0-60bb until the end of the month. I cant wait to study more those 80bb+ spots where most cev is made

Taking rest of the day off as it was my first victory and I would like to chill with gf. Not something that I will do often in grinding days

Ah yes the site where i play 5 tourneys per week

I can post a 5 k hand sample with 21 bb/100 from a single random day of play last week what's the point? You can't accurately look at those stats until they are past the 150k hand mark.

Not here to rag, I liked your other threads you were hs spins/sng crusher but you made a mistake in the tt hand that's all. You can check with any MTT player much better then me or run the calc using the bounty feature on icmizer too

6-8 depending on the action and the day. I am trying to focus more on 109$+ and i find it very difficult to mix stars with PP and have different backgrounds

              Progress has been made

Unfortunately I feel I am getting scammed every time I load in stars even though the games are significantly easier than PP

I just cant win any hand whatsoever and insanely many setups. (un)fortunately 20k isnt even close to sample. My frustration is a mix of not knowing what to do in some spots and running bad in the same time. I decided to take a week off and finish my studies about 0-80bb. I ll grind only on Sunday. I already missed one Sunday and I dont really want to miss any other this year

Moreover it is draining to study 4-5 hours in the morning and then grind for another 8-10 hours. Definitely not optimal as I am getting tired quickly which leads to frustration

              Fun last 2 days

Lost a couple all ins preflop aswell and didnt really want to grind more as it wasnt that fun anymore

Quite happy with my decision to take some time ''off'' and come back stronger, or more like come back more complete

Anyway, every ev of big pot isnt coming my way, at least in the room that matters the most for myself. I prefer to finish a big portion of what I need within a week and have crystal clear focus than playing this way. Another -ev move that I do is checking evs every five minutes which is something I always did but never bothered me as now

I think Everton-Palace, Stoke-Brighton should win in their home. I am more confident about Stoke and if they will not win tomorrow they will get relegated most likely. Zaha is injured who is the power force of Palace. Everton lost to Arsenal in a really embarassing way and i expect to respond tomorrow. Either the game will end 0-0 or Everton will score 3+ goals

I expect ManUtd to win at Newcastle. I think with Alexis and if Mou decides to play Pogba at AMC instead of MC, united will be a really strong attacking and defending team

                        Ideal line up imo

                        De Gea-Valencia-Jones-Rojo-Young Matic-Tominay-Pogba Mata-Lukaku-Sanchez

I was never a big fan of Mata because he isnt very fast but every time he was at starting eleven he was a boss. So much passion and he is helping the team a lot. Issue is that as a substitute never performed well

Mou rarely starts Mata on away games but Newcastle is the ideal team to play against

loled @sb folds in JJ hand

I never played that high but I know about MTT grind and it's really tough to do morning few hours in the lab and grind 10h after it. You need to schedule it better, this is something I also struggled with a lot but good schedule and routine is veeery important. Better play 3-4 days and study when you dont play, beside some fast reviews of last played sessions for warmups.

Maybe play a little bit lower until you get used to MTTs ? I mean you can end in -50k in no time playing like this and when you finally pickup with MTTs that could look veeery deep. It seems to me like ego is driving you to succeed immediately at highest MTT stakes and altough I respect that it can turn out to be very expensive learning tool. Also, have you considered getting coaching ? It might speed things a lot to get some info from first hand.

Anyway, taking days off is for sure way to go, GL to you.

P.S. I've learned a new thing today. There is a football player named Tominay playing for MUTD

                        Hey

I think i need to schedule better my daily routine. I agree 100%. I become more tired after 7-8hrs playing which doesnt make much sense because i was never that tired. I think it is a combination of me not working out anymore and studying too many hours before the grind. I will do 4 days grinding 3 days studying most likely as i cant stand myself when not playing. After all these years i do love the game of poker

At the moment i am not loading 530$ that often because i feel bad for myself when i have blank spots where i do not know the answer. I do not really believe in coaching anymore. Firstly i think most people who are coaching are average even in big stables, because i reviewed their game. Secondly i am watching every video in youtube, runitonce and rye about mtts while analyzing every single hand and think what i would have done if i had the same situation. Last but most important i am using 7 different software to analyze mtt situations. I think i will gain more investing one hour studying myself than one hour of coaching

What i am lacking is adjusting in population tedencies. The reason is that i have both low sample and not enough time as i am still working on my fundamental game. I think this is the way to become a really good poker player. First you work on every stage intensively to understand the game theory optimal on every stage and then you study how population is playing and how you should deviate

This is time consuming and it takes a lot of time to reach the final destination. For mtts with my current abi i would be shocked if i dont experience 50-80k swings and i am prepared for that. Its not about the money but the setups i experienced in one platform and how they affect my ev bb. For my first month i am quite ''happy'' with my progress and my winrate at 50$+ in the stages i studied. That means i am on the right path. Yes my ego is driving me but this is what drove me all these years

There are some good regs (obviously) but i think the games are very soft even at highest buy ins i grind. By soft means what i think they should do at the stack depths i studied and what they actually do. I think the most ev i am bleeding is against recs and not regs as fishes are extremely different in MTTs than the games i used to play. While mtt regs used to load some of my games and i ''know'' their tedencies

Thank you for the advice. I think this week i will try one day playing one day studying instead of mixing and i will let you know how i feel I hope you ll have a great weekend
