The 'time played' is simply all the tournament times added together and not real time invested, right? It's not taking into account that you're multi-tabling?
02-27-2018 , 05:55 PM
Its time spent at the table. If my session starts at 12pm and i play my last hand at 4pm, it will log as 4 hours.

haha, I haven't seen a HM1 graph in ages and I do tech support work for HM. Noice to see some can still make use of the old version of the software.

Everything is a ok !
02-27-2018 , 07:41 PM
try any cash games lately? i thnk you might find them to be more profitable than DONs with a low variance.
02-27-2018 , 09:37 PM
I was thinking of selling some action to a friend of mines and playing 100plo but i havent got around to it yet. Soon.

Well the month of February is over and despite losing $1,000 on the last two days of the month, we are ok! Im on a 1,100 game a month pace right now, i wish i could play more but between my wifes work and my kids school it becomes a bit hectic at times.

Going forward i will try and and average 1,200 games a month. I also put $1,000 on wpn and will be playing $10 jackpot sngs and some mtts, that should be fun if i do good i eventually want to climb to the $40 jackpots. Ill be 4 tabling my $50 dons, 2 tabling $10 jackpots and playing mtts depending on what looks good to play. Im a fan of the big gtds.

$50 dons for february

$50 dons year to date

Even with the downswing that's still a decent YTD so far. Good work.

I'm only managing an average of 15 or so games a day, so I need to quite literally double my volume. Just 170 games played so far in the past 11 days, but it's going well (although it seems like I'm on a bit of a heater). If my EV line is to be trusted, I'm like 20 BI's over, lol. With this kind of pace, and a $100 welcome bonus increment being unlocked soon, I should hopefully be rolled for the $20's by the end of the month.

$10 DONs
Games Played: 170
Games ITM: 103
ITM%: 60.59%
Total Buy-ins: $1785
Total Winnings: $2060
Profit: $275
ROI: 15.41%
Hours Played: 25
$/hr: $11/hr

Loking good so far

try to get your volume to atleast 30 games a day. The longer it takes to put in the volume then the longer it will take to get out of downswings. Just stay within your comfort zone.

1st day back on wpn and i got 4th in the $20 8k for a little over $500. Nice way to start the month.

03-02-2018 , 06:57 PM
How many unique entrants were there?
03-02-2018 , 08:11 PM
228 unique entrats

back to back final tables in the $22 8k on wpn. Had him down to 1 bb

but i got 2nd

why would you try to jump into plo cash games when you're background is NLHE DONs? you say you don't want to play cash games because of variance but then you are talking about playing a different format of poker with a lot more variance lol...... why dont you just play NLHE cash games? dude im telling you thats where the money is at.

also lol at you losing 30-1 chip lead heads up. thats rough.
03-03-2018 , 07:56 PM
I mean cash game variance as a whole. I know my edge in dons, the biggest downswing i ever had was 40 buyins but its rare. If i move to cash itll be awhile before i know anything concrete. So i rather play plo because if i take a shot at cash id rather it stick and im a plo reg instead of a nlhe reg. Plo pots just build quicker and thats what i like, frequent pot commitment lol.

Played $1,000 worth of mtts today on WPN, ended up cashing for $1100. not much but ill take it instead of losing the $1,000 investment. Heres my biggest score on the day, 9th place for $600

Dons have been going slow this month since ive been dabbling in mtts on wpn. I def. need to step my volume up because mtts are my main game, dons pay my bills so until mtts take off i need to make sure i maintain my same don grind and actually try to play more games. slow start to the month but im going to aim for atleast 1,100 games this month, 1,200+ would be even better but we'll see! gl everybody!

great results! how do u improve your game in dons?
03-06-2018 , 01:35 PM
I learned by trial and error

Now that ive played 10s of thousands of dons no spot makes me uncomfortable. I could probably increase my edge if i studied spots and ran icm calculations but I've always been kindve lazy when it came to studying

Was able to put in some decent don volume the last couple days so its nice to get back on track somewhat, still behind a 1,200 game month pace though. Mtts have been going well on WPN and im up $1,500 so far this month at them. Small sample size of course. I wouldnt mind transitioning into an mtt pro one day

March Dons

Mtts. WPN's results on sharkscope are on a 24 hour delay so this graph doesnt include todays winnings.

Got 4th in the $55 25k tonight for $1,625, so close yet so far ! Oh well on to the next one.

decent hourly and grats on the tournament scores. playing a couple of tournaments on the side of regular DON grind is a decent way to keep up volume as well.

Here's a little video of my mtt+don session, sorry for the background audio, its a somewhat nsfw youtube show i was listening to.

I'm going to a friends house today, he's grilling some steak and cooking out. Should be fun as i am feeling a lot better today, i was sick yesterday so i didn't play at all. I'm about 80% back to normal now so a relaxing day today + good food should have me ready for tomorrow.

Its alot of nice mtts on WPN tomorrow, i should be playing about $2000-$2500 worth of mtts so lets push for a deep run

Dons have been ok to start the month (that seems to be the trend following by hitting a wall at the end lol). I'm still behind my 1,200 month pace but if mtts keep going well then i wont mind missing this months volume goal but no excuses i still need to find a way to hit it !

How on earth do you play without preferred seating? Heck I play with three different screens, so I can see every table, and it would driven me insane to not have my hole cards in the same spot on all my tables.

Hi

It helps me remember the action at the tables, if my seat is random i remember each table better than when im seated in the same spot on 20 different tables. I use the cascade table feature because it helps me make decisions faster since i dont have to move the mouse all over the screen. It also makes it a little easier to stay emotionally detached (not fully ) from hands because im not watching a table 95% of the time.

****

Played alot of mtts today and got 2nd in the $215 50k to book a nice profit. I needed 6th place to book a $600 profit on the day so 2nd really made the night worth while. Sharkscope doesnt update wpn results until 24 hours so ill post it tomorrow.

i havent played any dons since friday

heres my 2nd biggest mtt score of my career, with the biggest being 13k in 2013.

03-12-2018 , 04:56 AM
niiice! congratulations on the score
03-12-2018 , 10:30 AM
Congrats on the ~$10k score. Also ya that video without preferred seating made me cringe a bit, however if it helps you remember the action and what not then that is all that matters. GLGL
