FREEROLL
I'm still okay with my miserable unhealthy list of habbits. Don't want to change anything atm as it seem that it would mess a lot with my poker plans, and as I already know this is an lousy excuse for being lazy AF. So MTT series are starting soon and then I have an big wedding but I plan to take some time off and make some drastic changes after it:

4 next posters get 50$ each if I don't start going to gym/hire personal trainer/start training anything on regular basis (3+ times per week) before October 1st.

---------------------------------

I'll add a little bit hand talk to this PGC, feel free to comment.

I was CL from start to the end of the FT and villain was playing solid. This was like 50th or so hand of the HU so I had decent inisights in his strat and he likes to x/r these high card dry boards with standard goodBDs noSDV type of hands.

So on the flop I'm fine with either way between betting and checking altough I prefer betting this combo as it needs a lot of protection + it can handle a raise and continue on decent amount of turns. I was thinking about ingame adjusting with checking these type of boards more as I was getting x/raised a lot but it seemed like passive and loosing adjustment ingame and I don't like running from battling high variance close spots and aggressive brazilians.

When 5 falls and he checks I don't feel good about my hand as I was feeling OTF since a lot of his bluff x/r's now got paired. VS villains that aren't aggressive I would most likely shoot a 1/3 pot here with a bunch of my range (Q3dd included) and x behind river as a default, but vs aggro guys that will x/jam a lot OTT vs that sizing I'm being more picky about my bets ott so this seemed like a clear check as it still has some shaky showdown value, villain is kind of capped on 5x(with or without diamonds) / giveup most of the time

River was most interesting part of the hand. If he'd bet like 45-75% of the pot Id probably just snap muck it, but when i saw his pot sizing it got me thinking a little bit more. My percieved range OTR is bunch of 2x, 3x, 5x, pairs in between, Ax straights, some flushes. His pot sizing didn't made a lot of sense to me - he's basicly trying to represent a flush here while he'll continue barreling most of the fds OTT and checking possibly only 5Xdds that got paired. He wouldn't size this big with 6 high straight also as it seems harder for an ace to call it. Q3 is pretty much bottom of my range so it was an easy shove after all that thinking ( he could also fold a 6 occasionally if he ever has it, imo )

It's one of those spots where people make big mistakes of not considering theirs / villains ranges at all. It seems like he's thinking ''Ugh, that's a scary card - lets pot it with errrything'' ( this actually might be overall profitable vs these low/midstakes overfolding pools ), it doesn't matter at all that I have a lot more nutty hands in my range or that his line makes absolutely 0 sense.

Anyway, I guess there's a lot of money in these type of spots as people are either too passive either too aggro. I know how to play vs passive ones but I'm still learning how to make highest possible EV vs aggressive ones. Wasn't thinking a lot about it but I guess there are more chips to be won from the ones that are willing to handle you them themselves

So fellaaaz, another Sunday another monster session :

We got us biggest score of the year so far, altough it was pretty tilting to finish 3rd here vs weakish field ( i've runned really good overall, especially with payjumping ) :

So clearly really good start of the series, I have runned aweful in 100+ comps, but I'm really glad how I played overall, still playing stable and being focused and all that, will try to keep up with winning streak of I dont know how many sessions atm. Lets flick in an August+ graph as I didn't do it earlier itt :

Pumped up for tommorow. GL ALL !

EDIT: Had another part with possible collusion going on on semiFT of this timbey, but somehow I have deleted 4 paragraphs that I wrote and I really can't do it again atm, will do it tommorow.

CL had 2/3 of the chips in play and some crazy 4.5k bounty on his head while payjump was rather small, so I knew I gotta go for fast double up. it's probably little more unconventional way to play it but I'm okay with it, we'll often get folds + we're standing very decent vs his calling range and will dominate most of his draws that gotta call my shove. I was playing 19 2 on the FT (took some looks about limping strats recently, and had big bounty on my head with always 3 60bb+ stacks on my left ) and it was first time seeing the guy so I thought he might give me some more credit, unfortunately not with the ladies...

Ive played really good, picked up big number of small pots and started implementing bluffs in some spots that I didn't even saw 3 months ago so I feel confident for the rest of the series. I flick in some WCOOP here in there but busting most of it, full focus on the WMX and PS.es. Generally I'm running really bad in AIs in 200+ stuff but won't cry obv, I'm glad I'm playing good poker and putting up really good fight with some of best. Taking a day off today most likely but seeing how I play and run I might play another session tonight.

Salute and GL for the rest of the series boiz

been awhile since I stopped in here. congrats on the recent results and keep up the good work

QQ: I think it's wp and would probably play the same myself. These textures are a little bit tricky against aggro opponents I find. IMO if he is going to xr this hand he should probably just barrel it off especially on this runout. the 9 is very menial showdown value imo but its a very good card for his range/bad for yours. You probably float the check raise a decent amount? Even a lot of your strongest hands probably puking if he barrels this one off?

82hh: I defend this a lot too...started to question it lately though, especially off this type of stack size. Postflop I like the line...I find usually this line is more often than not combo draws but maybe I'm wrong. Probably a mandatory river to follow through on wp...what do you do if the river bricks and is an irrelevant black card for example?

ty man and jump by any time, you're very welcomed here

@QQ spot is interesting mostly because villain is very stack aware and will put pressure on our 2nd stack especially with that 3.5bb guy sitting there. i dont wanna mess up too much with him in this precise spot, but he's obviously pretty bad since as you mentioned 9x will have close to 0 SDV ott esp when I make it 25% (and he can make me fold a lot with these stacksizes). in hindsight I would prefer myself going a lil bit bigger ott just to make 89 (which will be very frequent when he takes this line) pay what they deserve to pay. i would puke a lot on the turn here but I would call him off decent amount of time only because he'll most likely go YOLO a lot in this spot (as he should IMO). i've made some exploatative adjustments to my gameplan vs certain opponent types but I don't wanna talk too much about this on the forum.

remembered this one couple of posts before

@82 well I like defending it more when stacks are shallower than deeper altough I think I defend it close to 100% vs 2x ( i guess i just like to x/raise 22x boards a ton ). as for the delayed check-raise goes I play my whole range as a check OTT only because he'll barrel K close to 100% and normaly i would just x jam eeeeeverything ( so all of my two pairs/straights and I have insane number of combos of this, and then probably most of my draws, and I see this spot like insanenly good spot for me overall ) but while I was playing I thought that would look a lot stronger and have bigger FE overall if I just x/raise like this and then jam probably ANY non K/A river. blank cards arent that bad imo since there is still decent amount of FDs/A highs that will fold. diamonds are obv nuts best to keep on going since he'll cbet probably all/most of the FDs considering my stacksize ( pretty bold assumption but he didnt seem like the type of player that understands that checking back some FDs in this spot even if we're shallow as we are is very important ).

As of right now I'm offically playing for myself. Almost 3 years of playing backed where I started playing 2.50$ 180s back in October 2015th in pretty bad mental/material shape and guys helped me enourmously to progress to abi 35 MTTs. I feel big gratitude to couple of my coaches and friends in there for learning me sheit ton of things about many things that are even unrelated to poker, but for the last 12 months or so I didn't feel like I have any benefits from being staked as I was working on my game completly alone and progressed very much by doing so.

      Spoiler:

Only problem was the roll, but as I got nice little heat in the last couple of months I've decided to start playing for myself. I'll start slowly, probably with abi less than 20 and gameselect a lot more, bring back some nice comps from party/888 on the schedule and start firing some bowls with less enterants as a savers which I wasn't doing that much while playing backed. EV of it should be bigger than the EV of playing higher and backed.

I was struggling a lot to make this decision but then I figuered out that now is the time, I'm 27 w/o gf/kids and if I fail in this I'll still have time and strenght to rebuild if needed which maybe won't be the case if year or two more pass by. Had some different plans how to use ( burn ) last couple months of winnings but decided to put it in my roll and have solid chunk liferoll in the back. Plan is not to withdraw ( nor deposit more hopefully ) anything to the end of the year and see what's what at the end of December.

I did training today and will continue to do so everyday but I can't be hiring any personal trainer or go to gym as I have some travels on my mind. Will be spending end of September/start of October in Berlin, hopefully chilling ( AND TRAINING OBV !!! ) and then back to the full time grind. Will look to flick in couple sessions before the trip.

      It's gonna be a great summer ??

I went on dinner with a friend yesterday and got blasted w weed and beer later. Came back around 22 last night and was stoned and bored to death so I turned on PS to rail some WCOOP main. As I didn't had any plans of playing pokerstars at all at the beggining of my solo journey I've left 0$ in my account. Had bought 2% of gazzy's wcoop package recently and last night I got an refund of 19$ or w/e. So I regged and 15$ sat for todays 215 wcoop and vollaaaaa, we got the ticket I'll give gazzy 2% and take other 50k or so, no prob.

First session tonight as nonstaked player EVER, feeling good about it. Like I have some new hunger to grind more, altough I really hope that I won't start with showerzzz in first couple of sessions

I live in Serbia. Was thinking a lot about moving somewhere anywhere (Asia/S.America) because it's becomming pretty much obnoxious here (don't wanna go into politics/ppl (no)awareness issues) but as I agreed with myself to pursue poker little bit more aggressivly and try to build serious bankroll I realised that costs of living here are kind of an edge in todays poker environment so I won't be moving anywhere soon, altough I plan a ton of traveling overall.

Other part of question is part of the reason while I left the stake, as I want to go play live little bit more (it was very troubling to arrange those deals when you're in stable and you have same online/live roll(and makeup) and stakers werent't particularly interested in live poker) as I think some of the tournaments in 500-2k range are much softer than almost any 33+ on stars. obv variance is still huge and % need to be sold and what not but as my bankroll grows I'll try more live shots and hopefully bink an wsop in 2019. That won't happen in 2019 98%+ but some kind of back plan is to try to play the series in 2020th. I don't have any particular scores yet live as I played less than 15 500+ live tournaments in my life and ITMed at least 5 and went semi/ft on 3 while running utterly bad in deepz but I really enjoyed every single one of them and in last 5,6 I never felt being outclassed by any 'better' player. Sometimes I outclassed myself though, but I've learned a lot from those ones and those mistakes made me more stable and confident in my original gameplan both online/live, and still can't resist the urge to show the bluff in big pot to very aggressive or very table unpleasent villain.

btw first hand yesterday was an double up, I 3bet AA sb vs mp and get 3 streets from QQ, and had an uberspazzy guy gifting chips here and there but can't do anything when u have AA+nfd and 0% ott

i've played 1st sess yesterday and altough my hand was going trough those higher buyins i was very disciplined both on tables and in game selection, dropped couple hundred but had played some of the smaller stakes game savers and they did the job. spazzed like maniac on party tho as I'm unused to have that type of tables on the screen but will work it out in the future. trying mosaic software or w/e for arranging tables so we'll see. not playing today.
