Hi everyone i'm from Italy and i'm playing mainly on ps.it nl10/25.
I started playing about 1.5 years ago. Started from nl2 i went to nl10.
Then in 2017 i start to play more MTT and this is where i think i destroy myself.
I win about 400 euros is a 6max MTT on stars and then i got a burnout from NL 6max. I was overrolled for my current stake but don't enough confident to play nl25.
So i quit grinding cash game and tryied other format like MTT, SNG and Spins.
Overall in this format i'm even so not big damage on my roll.
From this experience I realized that the only format that can do for me is the 6max cash game so i decide to go back and start grinding again.

So my poker goal for 2018 are:
-Arrive and beat nl50;
-50bi to every level;
-2:1 play:study;
-Atleats 40k hands a month;
-Atleats 3 post a week;
-Find some people to create a nice network to study poker;

RL 2018 goal:
-Minimun one non fiction book a month;
-Improve in english and reduce my use of google translate to write this blog;
-3 times excercize a week;

Not the best day, tryied a shot at nl25 but not goes well. Players today were pretty top range every time.

One of the last hands. I've played some hands with this reg but today he start to overbet in some nice spot where he think i was capped.
This is probably one of the worst hand in my checking range but i think still ok.

H1: turn sizing is kinda silly, i would just go 2/3 pot. Never folding vs this stack though, cooler.
H2: pretty easy turn fold 4 ways. River i would lead smaller and fold to a raise. People never bluff here tbh, putting him on a chop is already optimistic, he can have plenty of flushes.
H3: Don't know your villain, but people at these stakes are generally too tight with BB 3bets, I dont feel good getting it in preflop, prefer calling and playing IP. Usually I only go broke with KK+ pre, only QQ and AK if LP.
H4: think it's fine
H5: def dont mind checking vs SB range, vs overbet otr just calling seems best. Well played

Played two session 2 hours this afternoon and 2 this evening.
Afternoon play quite well i think overall, probably B++, evening not the same but not much to do. The field in Italy now on Stars it's like bingo player so a lot of cold call of 3bet/4bet/squeeze.
Also think that in one of my biggest problem, calling river bet, today I did pretty well.
Also study about 2 hours. Done some database research about some line that i'm using post flop.

I did a bit of volume in zoom games and gone quite well. Also very happy about the red line which is a problem for me for a very long time.

First week of IRL work and poker went quite good.
Not very much happy about volume but i started the week trying some short games so i was studying and playing at the same time.
Quite happy about my study time. I have built a study group on discord and it's going very nice.
Also doing a lot of review and GTO+ currently for BB vs SB situation.
For the moment I stopped studying the videos of Nick Howard.
Without having some gto thing in my mind I'm going out of the way and pretty much come back to bet/check range flop.

The IRL goals are also going quite nicely. This year already finish two book, Miracle Morning and The 4-hour workweek, and at the end of Think and Grow Rich.
The last i think it's probably the best book that i've ever read and I think it will help me a lot in my path.

Yesterday study some crev stuff and play like 40 hands in zoom, today play a normal session.
I am probably spewing too much and overplaying some top pair in multiway situation but overall i'm satisfied.

Yesterday pretty bad day on ev but made 3 stack, today a disaster because, made 2 stack and it's ok, but in this field it's the least.
Reg are starting overbetting like a monkey, some line with medium value used like stone nuts and nobody today gave me action with the value .
This morning finished some studies about BvB and now probably i'm going to see BB vs BTN. Some hands:


He is the otb of nl25 on .it and I have no reasons for the call river except for a strange feeling. Also he isn't going to vbet thin enough so or he has the nuts or some bluff and his selection is probably fine.

Yesterday all nl25 with one stack profit, today the 50 tables were very soft compared to 25 and tryied a shot. Start very badly but but picked up something at the end. Don't really know why but nl50 on stars now seems like nl2, full of gamblers.

Probably i'm given too credit to all this reg. I mean, this is a cooler, but preflop is ridiculous.
The first times I was trying to shot I thought I was playing with otb and linus and I'm not saying that reg are all reg fish but I probably have to recalibrate my options.
