Crushed my last thread.

Good run continued even though I stopped updating including an almost bracelet in SCOOP on .ES and though I had bigger scores, this was the glory tournament.

.ES was a nice little 1 month adventure

April 17th Pokerstars.in rolls in and my aim is to be the best in India in terms of consistency (win-rate) and ROI too lol. Don't want to beat the games and downsingdrome and cop to variance.

Have started tapering down on pokerstars.com and .ES volume and although can't put enough volume on **** structure crapshoot Indian sites at the moment, I am stomping them!

Today:

This month on Indian sites (have not put volume since last few days and hard to put in volume anyways:

^ A bit meta there

I invest a lot in coaching and am on a different level from how I was playing just weeks ago but so far - last 5 tourneys or smth on Indian sites - all stone bubbles ewwww.

Gonna rip through this variance tho and earn the big $$. No Fear Forever!

PS.in will be a breath of fresh air in an otherwise non-transparent, unethically run online poker landscape in India (can write walls of text on this issue but perhaps some other day)

Yes stars got progressively worse but Indian sites started on the butt end of 'WTF IS THIS' with unlimited re-entries and non-nonsensical structures....unethical operations. Integrity is what we need in the scene. A lot of exploitative behavior when it comes to selling action because of lack of accountability.

case in point -

LEL that's 540$ worth of BIs and anyone booking for 7 bullets on fast Indian structures is just some mediocrity on a heater

Take that **** over there!

Will be updating this thread and describing the Indian scene as it matures as well as engaging more in other threads here. Truss. GREATNESS ONLY to come.

yup that's how we've been running all day -

Wouldn't cram AQ with 37bigs but players just stack off so wide that it's not unreasonable. Just not our day.

Also, of course will not be posting stats other than win-rate and giraffs once hand sample size on crucial stats gets bigger than the lolsample posted here.

ETA: eh maybe just iso here but last tourney of the day and focus was a bit off. As a serious MTT grinder tho, can't let these mistakes creep in.

One of the tournies I bubbled today -

'Megastack' reg speed finishes in just over 6 hrs. 3hrs were late reg including a cheeky 10 min break so that the 8-10bb SS level does not move to the next one and more runners can enter...

such blatant exploitation.

I am going to be illustrating some of these things for all to see but not personally bothered by things out of my control.

**** structure + irrational random tactics are still no match when they clash with solid, defensible and logically sound strategies. The latter will just mash and smash over the long run.

70bb vs 69bb guy guy crammed over my x/r with Qx8d

CL POT MINE!!!!

NO SWEAT

I am laptop grinding and I guess the real stuff begins Sunday onward but last two tournies so let's WIN2WIN

It's all good tho, I came in the game for a reason, I don't last the game but I last seasons.

This thread is really not going to launch into orbit till Monday when Pokerstars India opens the hatch

So not much volume, mainly playing Indian sites and logging hands so I have hands to go over with my coach.

couple of Indian tourneys:

11th (min cash) and 22nd in the other.

Total hands with Stars + Indian Sites:

Complete donk:

Nah, I have about 9K profit on that site but it only started logging on Sharkscope very recently

Couple of lol hands..

With how the day started, woke up 90 mins past my first 3 tournaments starting time, blinded out of one of them, I will take this score.

          ~900$

          First was ~8K

          Obligatory busto hand:

He is generally gonna get owned flatting QQ on the FT in this spot. Indian player pool do not understand how multiway their equity just goes down the ****ing drain. The same sandwiched player flatted with 98s to same open so can't be results oriented.

Don't know about my spot tho? Cooler vs general player pool 5/7 on the FT right?
But Indian players stack off wide on the FT...and there your strat should be to go to sleep and ladder with a short stack but have to WIN2WIN and the way the action went down, JJ with our stack....

in any case this was the hand with 11 to go that kinda led to having this awkward stack in this awkward spot.

          CL pot gonna CL pot.

Either way, this is the most decent structure tourney around (till monday when Stars launches) and I busted not 10 mins ago and the tourney is already over. Fast blinds no mater what they call their tourneys - Super, Mega, Deep, UltraSuperMegaDeep....it's all a sham.

I guess fold JJ next time lel.

Unless Stars India totally ****s it up and somehow this site improves it's crapshoot structures and the way it operates, you're probably not gonna see much more volume here than occasional Sundays.

Ok so stars started off a bit like **** Indian structures but it seems logical now. Hit em with the big GTDs with the unlimited re-entries, shallow structures.

Tomorrow we already have a much more .ES type schedule - a highlight being a ~40$ 4.5K GTD (obv rough calculation) 3 x re-entries.

Sunday we are already matching up to the tier 2 of Indian GTDs with just 3 re-entries and deep-ish structure. It will only improve!

Still not played a full non-turbo bigger BI schedule. 11 years gotta switch back to the normal sleep schedule. Sleep at midnight wake up at 9am. Woke up in time to play but had my coaching sesh today. Tomorrow I will be playing what is the regular schedule and less turbo trash.

so far not much money but tomorrow gonna start punching in the profit

today was turblol stuff, could only play 5-6 games. Ok gotta sleep.

          Stuff that matters:

          4th

          SS

Gotta work on volume. Gotta find one more site. Spartan Poker still too shady imo.

Play a sesh, win a sesh:

Also played around with what my ABI, Volume and avg. field size will be and it turns out my available BR is way more sufficient than what I will need for now so a lot of the extra $ going toward coaching. Not worried about volume because already have a daily tourney that will have less than 100 runners with over 1K USD up top. Still have Sundays for the Indian sites no matter the shade in their operations, I have beaten the pulp out of them and my aim is to win money.

Left the most 'sensitive' poker community I've ever been a part of. Holy hell do people keep the grudge tuned UP.

I had sold packs back in the day on 2p2 and it was pretty mandatory to have a rail and at the very least copy paste bare hand histories. Fwd few years, I am near the money of a ~800$ HR on one of the Indian sites and this happens...

I obviously inform the peeps who had bought my action and don't even know who this guy is....Turns out a WSOP event winner who went broke that same month regging tournies and playing cash, begged for a ticket home.......well a guy who tilts like that is gonna get his jimmies worked up.

Just never left me alone since then. He has a fan base of subjective Indians who call themselves poker players and worship the one-time big hitters like 'IDOLS' **** that ****.

Spoke to my coach about it. This will be the last I ever mention about the Indian poker scene which I own btw...but you know....I piss on the establishment when something is unethical/don't seem right while ass kissers can get away with murder still no one will doubt they did it. That's the eco-system we're in and I ain't gonna sell-out for this money-go-around ride just because the scene is immature.

Doubt is a virtue under-estimated by a lot of people. Is calling out Indians for being way too subjective/emotional (as an Indian) racist? lol

          Anyways /negativity

Made a FT 4th. Got the seat for the biggest tourney of the day and missed the money in it by 7 but that's relatively big compared to the field and I took a spot with 33s 15/15 9bb vs EP open and got river'd by a Q vs AQs.

Not as big of a mistake as I made earlier in the tournament. Good thing is, I realised the mistake (it was a spot where I was trying to find the biggest -EV action out of 3 post flop streets and it was the Flop because then it compounded the mistakes by compromising our range given it should react differently on the flop in the first place and then lead to an idiot A high call when the opponent's (whether his bet was right or wrong) range is largely pairs.

          WWJD in this thing.

4th in the Sunday Warm Up (PS India duh)

Played it like my coach said...when opponents stack off wide on the FT, just sleep to 4th when you enter 9/9. Well I actually bossed it once I got my DUs and the two who entered 1st and 2nd busted 9th and 7th promptly.

Got in a bit of a spot tho and was thinking WWJD here but that I will ponder more after the session or discuss with the man tomorrow.

After ****ing up this hand was 4/4, 12bb, meh feeling with the non-podium 4th. Opponent hit trip Quack with a KingQuackOff hand OTR vs my middle pair blocking all good hands except for the discounted ducks because only geniuses have those in their FT ranges

Had coaching today. After that played 2 FT'd 2.

Sick beats in both. The 6th was another hand that left me crippled and the 9th - we came back again and again then got destroyed then came back with TT and 8bb and the Villain hit a broadway OTR aipf.

Oh well. BBV is that way. Still FT'ing every day! Bricked 4 big BIs and running in the red.

          Constantly pulling these numbers:

Over 5.6K hands it's at 19.21. Not sustainable but the sample is getting robust and we are winning. FT'ing! Waiting for the ICM suicides to catch up to them. They think they are winning, just running hot. Well I'll put the Ice in their run-hot fake ICM

Gosh. I can't win anything in the one big tourney we have everyday. I just punted the other lol 3 tables I had going (all low BI) and going to do 50 push ups then start with the last turbo that seems of value and play 2 x tables of cash because I defo need to up the volume. Was hustling all day so was not around for the 4hr peak we have which has 90% of non-turbos.

Don't get me wrong the turbo structure on PS still better than most reg speed on Indian sites but still...

Got in just in time to reg the big one for the day and this is just how I've been running at this 1 x big game for the last week or so.

          ..later on

well gotta admit some push ups are the magic!

Brought back memories of 45 mans. Although this would be a 35ish$ 45 man with 5K SS and a bit tweaked strategy.

Played well. Got some FT hands that I will go over again. Should have laddered 1 more spot when two other dudes went in QQ vs QKs and QKs gin'd the flop before they both ended up chopping it on a straight run-out, they had 1bb stack difference between them.

Oh well that's how it goes. I am predicting a big win in the daily big ones before Monday!

I knew it was a matter of time....well a matter of math but volume + coaching + deploying that solid strategy is finally over-coming some horrible variance.

Volume is low because I will rather play on a trustworthy site than go glory hunting (well except for 3 tournamets a week on some other sites, one of them cost me heavy couple days ago) and crappy software causing equity losses...grrrrr....but thankfully my last session with BBZ, we spoke about coping with tilt and those B- days.

Yep 10+ years and thought I was over it but no one ever is and compounded by playing on softwares that ask you friggin' 3 times if you want to 're-enter' and you mis-click once after saying no twice - boom they gotcha.

Then you have the other site where bet sizing gets reset when the time bank tank starts and not to mention you can just lose your table when you are switched - all of that will put a man's head space in a spin.

The results are coming! The WR is getting robust and that's the path we gotta stay on!

Gotta win what's in front of ya, we've got a lot of 40-200 man tournies, lots of turbos but only 120 games....this should be like 3 day volume, not 3 weeks.

It's a bit frustrating but hopefully this network will grow. I am confident it will!

          Spoiler:

The bounties were on Prison Mike! Nobody caught him tho

          ^^missed b2b Big 800

^^45 man Turbo...will eat that up any day! This is what I grew up on! This was also the biggest tournament of the day, on a day which had surprising amount of overlay and cancellations

C'mon Stars! You've got the player pool scattered all over the place, drag'em all to your side!

          ^^ nice lil' week

          Pulling a nice 30% ITM
