Then moved up to NL5 and found I wasnīt beating the limit following the same strategy (despite blackrain79 saying that CTM was enough to beat also NL5, but I disagree here). After much trial and error, tilt issues, going back to NL2 or stop playing, I finally learned how to beat NL5. So yes, having a good strategy is mandatory, but it is not enough. If you become angry when you lose, and start doing stupid things, you wonīt win at any stake above NL2 imo.

I usually use color coding for all fishes that I find when playing, but itīs impossible to avoid regs, so I donīt try that anymore. And I think learning how to play against them is essential, as even when you have 3 fishes on your table, you still have to fight regs.

I think we might be talking almost the same thing with slightly different words lol. But thanks for your tips, and let me know if I can help with your goals also.

Decided to change a little bit the timing of my sessions, so finished a little later than usual. Games are definitely softer this time, but itīs not a big difference. Began the night session running good and just being agressive, but then became card dead and lost a stack vs a fish when I got pocket kings. I did not tilt by any means, but decided to quit and finish my day anyway to avoid any anger feelings. This is the hand. I donīt think this villain would slowplay pocket aces just flatting my 4-bet, even after that min 3 bet, so was expecting a lot of weird stuff and decided to just play my hand very fast after seeing that flop:

Anyway, almost got the 2500 hands (played 2425). Also did a very long walk in the afternoon around my city, which I usually do 3 to 5 days a week, and is very relaxing. Today increased the distance a little bit to 11 km, climbing a few hills (my city was built around the mountainous part of Brazil, and has a lot of hills, some very steep) and just enjoying the moment.

    See you tomorrow.

Finally decided to put a proper session, and played a little over 7 hours. Got 2851 hands today, so Iīm pretty happy. Besides a problem hand that I had earlier, nothing special. Games were pretty aggressive tonight, but all my tables had at least one fish, and half had 2 or more, so I canīt complain. My self assessment is that I played a B- game today.
