Hi. This is a Live Poker (LP) update:

I have been playing at my local card room lately.

I have decided I am going to play LP whenever there is an NBA final game going on.

One day I played and noticed the controversy that develops when someone (me) says that Lebron is better than Jordan.

I am gonna bring this comment up on every session and profit.

LP WR = -$1.98/hr (Expenses Included)

The only thing consistent about arc is breaking even at the lowest stakes in the game for multiple years.

Arch I think depositing and withdrawing constantly is affecting your progress. Make it a point to not withdraw anymore. If BR hits 0, then deposit 20 (as long as you have no plans to withdraw it) and grind at 2NL. Good luck!

Ive seen you on the forums for some time playing the micros. Do you do any off the table work? GL and like others have said stop withdrawing and just play 2 or 5 nl and try and beat those with out withdrawing

Going back on track to an STRICT BRM = NO 5NLz until $500 in the cashier.

-The shot at 5NLz didn't go well. I felt really uncomfortable.

Not moving upto 5 till you have 100buy ins is crazy. You should be aggro taking shots with like 20-25 buy ins imo. Lol never mind just seen you say no 5nl till $500 then sentence under say 200 hands at 5nl with ur roll on 153.

Seriously if you have a decent sample at 2nl and you have beat it move up with $150 to 5nl until you drop it down to say $75

So far I have 7k hands at 2NLz winning 0.80bb/100h
I would like to have a nice 50-60k sample beating it by 5-6bb/100h before moving up.
What do you think?

Yeah, imo you should not have below 10bb/100 EV in NL2z, else it doesn't translate
to anything substantial once you move up.

1)cut down tables to 3zoom tables.
2)optimize your game.
3)earn that 10bb/100.
4)transfer that to 4tables.

-Playing too many hands because i overestimate my ''edge''.
-Playing while not giving a flying ****.
-Psychologically weak to loosing/bad beats even though I've played for years and know about variance, long term yada yada yada.
-And many, many more.

Yeah, cut it all out. But I forgot to mention 10bb/100 is very hard because field is full of nits and 2nl regs and the field is too big for you to get database-based reads on most of the field.

How did the 4.5bi downswing happen?

In my experience it's: if they bet, they have it. If you 3bet out of the blinds and they 4bet, they have AA. If you're EP and they 3bet, they have AA or KK.
