Kangal your thread is one of the very few reasons I even come onto 2+2 anymore.

Mix it up with more crypto musings, pics, trip reports, books you enjoyed etc. As you have before.

Might help you to continue enjoying updating. Best of luck!

Hey man, that's really cool to hear. Yeah I'll definitely take your advice and try mixing it up a bit in the near future.

Cmaaaaan man, do your own research! Fielded enough of these questions at this point.

              ------------------------------------

Currently reading a number of travel journal/non-fiction novel type things. In particular, Walking Home by Simon Armitage, which is a travel diary of a sort of modern day troubadour walking the Pennines Way, while doing gigs/poetry readings in pubs and B+Bs in exchange for food and a place to stay. It's a pretty cool, easy read, and is the kind of thing that always appeals to me after I've spent a Winter in Scotland in the blistering cold and near permanent twilight. Some sunlight and a nice long walk with friends seems idyllic right about now, and either the West Highland Way or Pennines Way is something I intend to get on to as soon as the Spring weather breaks!

Had a few nice words from friends/people at the tables today, so feeling very different about the blog. We continue!

As usual, thanks for reading. Peace

Maybe update less? Daily updates are hard (massive props to bena for having such a successful and enjoyable daily thread running for years), and they can become quite the timesink if you let it.

At the end of the day, you should write on here because you enjoy doing so first and foremost, regardless of who reads and replies. If you find that you lack incentive because of the lack of love (replies), then perhaps taking a break for a bit and coming back with fresh, new topics you will enjoy sharing would be more appealing?

              Just my 2c, goooooood luck!

Nah I get that, but I don't really wanna be a Crypto Citizens Advice Bureau.

Fwiw, I really like Cindicator, Verge and Cardano for low value/high potential coins. Feel like I've probably mentioned it at some point in here.

Yeah you're probably right about only updating when I want to/have something to say. I just find these things work better if they're updated at least semi-regularly.

              -------------------------------

January cash graph. Pretty rough few days since I last updated. Been very unfortunate with pre-flop setups and a load of runouts that enable me to win the minimum/lose the maximum. Decided to out myself also, as most people know the SN by now. I've done a few hours review of hands played over 80bb and I'm happy with 95% of them, just had to lose that money in most cases.

Outside of the above hands it's mostly just been a lot of running 5bets into aces and kings, or check folding rivers after piling money in on flops/turns.

In MTT land, I did manage to month save pretty well with these two scores:

Fun fact: These were literally the only two evening MTT sessions that I played all month, so obviously cannot complain there. Did however have this one in the $530 BB, which is probably like at least an $8 or 9k pot in terms of actual equity. Probably the biggest pot I've played in over a year., so sucks a bit to run bad right there.

Had a late one last night with the tourney bink, so just taking it somewhat easy today and doing some study/review with friends. I've been experiencing some form of the January blues/mild depression this month. I realised that I have barely left my house in the past couple of weeks, other than to go to the gym/do my food shopping, which is super abnormal for me. So that probably has a lot to do with it.

Here's to a good February all, let's get it!

Sorry, should've clarified that comment. I get a lot of messages asking for picks for coins currently valued under $1. These are them.

Maybe I shouldve clarified as well Saying that Cardano and Verge are low value/high potential coins just seems very wrong to me, "under $1" is almost useless in terms of determing their value but I'm not the expert either so who knows.

Yeah I'm well aware that $1 is just an arbitrary number. But that's what people ask, because that's what Buzzfeed preaches.

I don't like a lot of the use case scenarios for Cardano, but I still think its a really solid buy from an investing stance.

How is Verge a high potential coin? Don't want to spread FUD, since I'm not that interested in this coin, but wasn't it confirmed the whole privacy aspect of it was bull****? Also they had/have 1 dev if I remember correctly?

It's open source, so they definitely don't have one dev

As for the first part, do you have a source? This is the first I'm hearing of it.

Having an absolute nightmare right now with my computer. First, got my Skype account hijacked for a few days, which I've been able to resolve. Now all of my hotkeys/tags/settings on Stars and my PT4 isn't functioning properly. Very frustrating, and means that I can't really play until I get it all sorted...

Unsure man, seems like some sort of soft reset. As any temporary files have vanished. Running various diagnostics/AV stuff now to try and find a solution.

Skype thing was an isolated issue, so AFAICT its not trojan related or anything.

have you checked your available restore points?

when you say your skype was hijacked, was this from a virus or some sort of recovery? it could be possible that a virus has wiped some files, if that was how your skype was hijacked
