Hey Sherdog, I've always thought you were really cool!! Anyway, I was wondering if maybe you could answer some poker questions I have (if you have the time).

Ok, first question....
Do you know the Rush poker thingy on GG Poker? (If you don't, I'll explain it quickly, there's no blinds, and there's only ante, and everyone pays. So like if you playing 20cents ante, the pot will start at $1,2. And the SB will be first to act, with 5 people behind him.

What opening sizes would you use on a table like this? What I'm thinking is x4 first few positions, and in later position bump it up to x5. Is that okay or?

How Tight as a default would you open from the first 2 positions?


Third question (I'm almost done).
How wide would you defend from the last 2 positions, and how much 3Betting would you do, I was thinking, since you defend your BB crazy wide when you're oop (in a normal game), you probably have to defend IP with even more dead money insanely wide, and maybe 3b like a maniac. Is this correct or? I would love to hear some thoughts from you about this.


Fourth and final Question

Quite often, they splash the pot, and you get to fight for more dead money, like 10-15bb splash are the most common I think. How crazy should you fight for those?

Yeah MMA im tired of waiting for the course. If i have to wait 91 more hours, me and my 12.7 other slightly losing midstakes friends will create our own course and release it ASAP! I flew to Vegas on the 11th on June, having high expectations. My friends told me they'd been playing great games, so I was excited.
Five days in, I realised NL games in Vegas were completely dead. 20/40 barely even ran for the first 10 days, and every casino but Bellagio is running private games that you have no chance of playing.
PLO games are very good, so I decided to focus on my game and start transitioning, at least for live poker.

We rented an Airbnb house with the guys again, which is always fun. Did some fun stuff like go to the race track, and eat lots of good food.
And because the games have been quite dead and I am a big fan of Queen, I decided to fly to Vancouver for a day and see them live. Beyond awesome, really.
So, now I am waiting at the airport, for my flight back to Vegas.

A few more days left in Vegas and then...Well fuc k it, might as well fly the other way and go to South America.
I'll be traveling through Brazil for a bit, planning on playing early morning sessions and taking the rest of the day off.
If I don't get killed in RIO, I'll fly to Bogota afterwards to meet my friend Pablo.
Macchu Picchiu is next, and then back to Europe.

And yes, the course will be coming out soon. We had some technical issues.
I guess I'll take the bitching and moaning as a compliment.

If in Ipanema/Copacabana the likelihood of getting robbed increases dramatically the closer you are to Cantagalo because the bandidos run up there after mugging folk. Stay away from that end of Rua Barao da Torre and the streets around there at night. Always safer to get a taxi at night obviously, even a few blocks. Amazing place though, have a blast.
