Not fancy having a shot at those 50/100 ante games that have been running recently? They seemed pretty splashy.

Little point in playing a very high game where there are multiple players at the table better than me.
Even though there is so much complete spewing going on.

I was kidding, bro.
Could you tell which players you consider better than you? and which worse? or some sort of pokerranking of the players usually playing those games (NL10K+)?

Thanks!

Re: 2016 PCG - MSNL and HSNL

Last couple of days have been isanely stressful, as I somehow got some kind of virus on laptop and I can't use it anymore.
So I spent all day yesterday setting up my old grinding PC, and PT4 is still not even working properly.

I'm up a lot this month so I am not worried about results, but I am now way behind on volume and I can't make up for it. I will play a bit of 500 zoom and a couple of regular tables to get a some hands in, but it's very frustrating.

Please let me know if you know what the problem may be:
I start my laptop and about 7 minutes later every time, I get insane lag and my laptop basically freezes and the only option is to reset it.
I ran malware scanners an avira on safe mode (no crash there), but they can't find anything.

The obvious ones are better. There are some I think I am beating but they think they are beating me. Those players I will keep to myself.
The NL10k games are not tougher than 5k (maybe easier), because having a lot of money or a good backer is more important. So some old school regs with a lot of money will play and some newer top players may not.

Re: 2016 PCG - MSNL and HSNL

End of the month update

After not being able to play for a couple of days, my laptop magically got fixed and I ended the month strong.
I'm exhausted and played badly today, but I think I improved significantly this month.
Partially because of off the table work, but also by explaining my thoughts through coaching.

There were tons of great games this month and I ran well at every stake. Super ****ing happy with 88k in profit!
I'm still winning at nearly 6 evBB/100 this year and running a bit over EV overall, so I definitely can't complain about running under EV this month.

I didn't manage my 70k hands goal because of the broken laptop, but 57k is decent volume.

Next month's goals

-Play at least 60k hands. Playing big and running good is fun but I have to stay disciplined and keep the volume up.
I don't set monetary goals anymore; Anything can happen, so I am mainly focused on playing well and playing good games.

-Watch more training videos. I still really like them, but I watch less and less of them nowadays. The goal is to watch at least three full videos a week.

-Do more work in spots I am not comfortable in, since I mostly play badly when I haven't done work on a spot and I am unsure of myself.
