Sounds great but the problem with this is that the nits are going to be the only people staying in on a Saturday night to watch a poker podcast!

-piosolver is the s*it, but tricky to use it properly. Recommends it even for 50NL.
-promoted bluff the spot CFP and announced he's organising a grind house in Malta and accepting applications
-lots of respect for Sauce, jungleman and even more for Trueteller
-respect for dnegs
-f*cking hates mexican and thinks he's a piece of s*it luckbox who can't play poker
-redbaron still firmly at #1 for 6m but he could see Linus(with whom he's friends) catch up
-doesn't think real time HS dream machines are possible and botty people (OBORRA) just do a ton of solver work
-500NLz beatable even for non elite players (he estimates one fish per table on average).
-500NLz power rankings. Didn't really pay attention because I don't know the SNs except Jakeeeee who he confirmed is very good.

dont remember a lot of it but i remember him specifically saying how good he thinks progressive is and that he doesn't get any credit for being really good.

Dnegs is a good guy but he's a moron at the same time.
I think real time dream machines are possible, and probably being used in some way, but not in the way that people think.
Couldn't up with a power ranking for 500 Zoom because the pool changes very often.

Yeah 100% dreammachines aren't really possible yet IMO. But some sort of system possible to query flopsolutions of a huge database + realtime turn+river calculation is what I think is likely in use for some persons at MS/HSNL. This sort of system shouldn't be impossible to make already, and I'm afraid over next few years, there's gonna be multiple persons with this kind of stuff.

We live in scary times.

decision tree is static, computing power grows exponentially, the outcome is rather obvious, and more a question of when, not if. lotta comas

I have no clue about that solver **** but id assume you dont need an exact solution for each spot, just an approximation should be good enough to print. And i'd be shocked if teh russians didnt came up w something realtime oreddi after i've seen what they were capable to do w hand2note alone...

Is that not exponential?
2016 PCG - MSNL and HSNL Quote
04-10-2017 , 05:57 PM
well yes, but i think his point is that the exponential growth observed in moore's law isn't sustainable so that rate decreases, and from what i read that's the current projected growth rate? anyhow I'm not a pro at that stuff just pointing out what seems obvious in regards to solvers/bots(inevitable). /derail
