Hello, I decided to create a new thread after my last one was a complete failure (lost all my motivation due to not being able to beat 5NL). Here is the link:

My new and more realistic goal is to be able to play and beat 16NL until Dec, 31. I also decided to quit my job before Jan 31, 2017.

Obv I will not count on online poker to make this move. My investments grew to a size where I can withdraw a monthly income from them (thanks to a stock Market rally at march and also to the insane interest rates here in Brazil). All my savings are now on government bonds, so I think I´m not being too agressive with my expectations. Despite that, being able to live from poker winnings eventually would be great, since that would allow me to grow my investments further.

Anyway, I decided to reduce my table count to 6 tables (from 12) and really keep my focus on every spot. Since my bankroll is large enough (over 1k usd), my plan for moving up will be to be beating a limit for at least 5 bb/100 over 50k hands minimum.

I also have some goals for June:

[ ] Play 25.000 hands minimum until Jun, 30.
[ ] Do not see my results until Jun, 30.
[ ] Study at least 20 hours.
[ ] Do not drink coffee while in the office (this will be hard since I´m addicted to coffee).
