Yeah, 500 zoom is completely different to 1k and regular tables.
I notice that I have to fold way more to 3bets, rivers bets etc. because the games are very tight, whereas in 1k you can splash around more and be more creative.

Although part of it is obviously that 500 is always 6handed.

I replay 5kNL+ hands that went to showdown, and analyse every detail about the hand from the top players. Sizings, lines etc.
And I watch some training videos.

We play in games with different dynamics. In tight games like 500 Zoom, these checks are more important than in others.

I enjoyed the video alot(i mean i got some minor nitpicking but thats that). Made me inspired to use my HUD more effectively, you were consistent with that despite it being you playing on "only zoom500" which should probably be your least exciting stakes nowadays and therefor be more sloppy and more of an autopilot mode instead of trying to take the most exploitative action all the time

I'm really not much of a HUD guy, but it's more helpful against big player pools, in which people have more leaks.

You better nitpick because looking back I made a lot of pretty big errors in my plays. I'm rarely happy with how I play 500 zoom because I tend to autopilot there.
My commentary was fine imo, but obviously it's hard to say everything you want to in a first video, when English isn't my native language.

Part two is way better.

i do not play these games so nevermind my sn(nor my nitpicks, mostly my nitpicks wasnt the play itself, mainly because im not good enough to call bad or good play hehe) just a lowly bumhunter spreading on diff sites, i do however try beating the midstakes shorthanded games on other sites though as the hu action dried up immensely over the years. Tried about 50k hands of zoom january and little in feb 2015, lost at a pretty awesome pace so not gonna do that again in a while atleast

I did not hear or get the feeling that it was our second language, you talk very fluent imo, from my own experience talking about poker in english is really "easy" compared to any other subject(im not a native speaker either) but since we swedes use most of the english terms anyway in swedish talk it becomes really easy to "speak pokerenglish", my english is pretty bad if im talking about the weather with random john doe in the streets, but the subject is close to my heart and that certainly helps. I guess it is similar for you?

After a bumpy start this month I'm up over 20k now which is great, and I am somehow happy with how I've been playing at 500 Zoom.
One thing I should stop doing is play vs two top 5 players in the world 3handed at 5k, because that's just stupid.
So much fun though, and that's not where the upswing came from.

I'll start posting some hands again starting today.

I have to go back home to Holland for a loss in the family, but I will try to maintain a decent schedule.
I'm 19 days behind SNE this year, so it's going to be very hard to make.
