H1: Even if your opponents is 3-betting and barreling ATC this is too light of a call. To make him indifferent to bluffing you only need to call down TPTK-TP2ndK, around there.
I used a fairly standard preflop range, will ofc not be exactly correct to your ranges but still T9 is too light imo. You need to call river 52% of the time and with K9 you are at 54.5%. T9s+ you're calling 62% of the time. I didn't include Q9o-T9o as preflop calls but if you're calling them you're at 69%.
Interesting jam from him H1, it's prob not bad tbh just seems really thin at first glance. Probably should be folding this combo otr I would guess.
lol A3, surely you should just flat pre?
H4 maybe he thinks you don't have many flushes as you either 3bet pre or raise flop/turn with most of them? idk
He can still have a lot of bluffs there and your range is mostly 1pair/some 2pairs.
He also doesn't block any KdJ type stuff.
Still not sure it's good by him but there could be arguments for it.
Yeah gotta agree w these comments, T9s should be a fold and A3o is prob not a good candidate to 3b in the first place, gotta spew some times tho! About h4 looking more at it now it might make sense for him to ovb all flushes, but not sure where I would draw the line in his shoes tbh. I would like it much better from his pov if it were a backdoor flush board, but as played/board runs out I should have a decent amount of flushes in my range imo. He might just have been tilted too, cus he was xr'ing flop + 2x potting turn w a no equity hand on dry paired board later on, so I think he was clicking buttons a bit that session

Thanks a lot for this, bird. As u say it's a bit too light, especially in these games where ppl doesn't 3brl bluff a lot in 3b pots from what I've seen, so yeah. And tbh he prob doesn't size turn to set up riverjam w a lot of the hands we need him to triple in the first place, cus we're 125deep so I also think that'll stop some ppl from bluffing too much.
A3o I don't 3-bet vs recreationals. Maybe against a very high FT3B, and then I play very cautiously post-flop. Gii is spazzy, at least have A3s
And yeah T9 I fold for 125bb. I take a note that he can jam thinly in 3bp
h3: T9o are you sure about calling the 3-bet? 12% range and big sizing, my first instinct is to fold, unless he is very exploitable post-flop. Vs good opponent you might get snapped OTR, as the amount of 6x 7x you can have is very limited. But nits will be nits obv.
^h3 w T9o; yeah I think it's borderline pre to call 3b but w the reads/leaks I have on him think it should be ok as he plays pretty poor postflop, but don't wanna go into reads too much tho cus I'm giving away info Not doing this vs good opponents, at least if I'm playing a-game
So far today I've played pretty good I think (#swings), hopefully gonna put in a few more thousand hands and read some more pages. Let's do this!
Decided to take a semi-holiday w gf at her parents house, so I'm prob not gonna play/study as much before we're back home monday. Will still have some hrs to play, but I know my a-game is gonna be lacking a fair bit w/o my home computer/setup, it doesn't feel the same playing on a laptop really.
Graph from yday and today:
1) vs unknown recreational, don't like folding these spots
Mehh I'm not playing well on this laptop thing, it's kinda annoying that a good setup means so much to me, good news is I'm free to grind at home all next week so hopefully gonna put in lots of hrs and start winning again then
1) vs reg, thought about shipping turn as there are quite few cards that will change boards/ranges otr but don't know if I should be having a jamming range ott so decided against it.
I don't post strat in public anymore but I like your thread so I'll contribute a bit :P
H1: Unless he barrels quasi non-eq hands, he will mostly have rather high eq bluff, ie. FD's / FD+GS. FE therefore goes up in value compared to keeping low eq bluffs in. Depending on his CB strat, you are more likely to have Ax than him (I assume), so it kinda makes sense to have a jamming range there, although that certainly changes if he was to have a lot of low eq hands. That said, cannot be too bad not to have a shove range.
@Sauron92, I've seen u sitting at Stars iirc but can't remember seeing u at any zoom HU stake (I like to observe the higher stakes sometimes), what games/stakes are u currently playing?
I think H1 still can go either way on turn, but I might favor a turn jam cus of the river tendencies I have seen at 50z HU, ie. they are giving up quite a bit. Agree w Saurons thought that we should have more Ax than villain, thus it can indeed make some sense to jam. Think it's a pretty interesting spot vs regs.
Yeah H3 was in a bit of f u mode when I jammed that specific turn, cus I know it will hit him really well, and he might start x'ing back more of his range that semi-hits it as well, so yeah. I like my plan of xc flop and xr some safer turns tho
I do not play zoom apart from the odd nl500-1k CAP games, got enough action without it and usually it is only the solid guys that get in the 500+ zoom games so not worth the hazzle
I play up to nl1k HU, up to 5k CAP games, and nl500+ 6max

I remember the good old days when we played basically same stakes (husng and cap) you're such a boss! Very cool to see
^Sounds like a cool life playing those stakes, Sauron! gl at the tables!
So yeah as I said earlier I'm back home for a week now, then it's off to another vacation. Hoping to put in lots of hrs this week, since I'm much more comfortable grinding on this computer/setup than w my laptop in a couch or whatever
Giraffe since yesterday; dropped 5 bi rather quickly and decided to take that as a loss for once (I usually play till rustucko cus I hate booking losing sessions )
Time to activate that beast mode again, let's go!!
(I usually play till rustucko cus I hate booking losing sessions )
Alright, tonight I tried at least;
Happy w that volume, not too happy w my play but don't think this session was ever meant to be a profitable one, too much weird stuff going on Also raked over $250, so getting some vpps/fpps at least. There has been a guy playing on his cellphone that keeps beast moding me (not only this session, currently +8 BI), plays only 52% btns, 36% 3b (call 8%) and barrels like a madman, somehow he always has it at showdown vs me, pretty annoying. Anyways, will sleep for some hrs then back at it, hopefully w some better results, glgl!
Played better today, still not optimal or near a-game but I'll take it. Also, it seems like I'm catching the flu so not sure how much I'll be able to grind in the coming days before vacation-time on Saturday
So I just woke up and found that zoom HU wasn't running, but I wanted to play some so decided to jump into NL25z 6max instead. Had fun for 40 mins, but then quickly felt tired of it haha, it just feels like coolers vs coolers all the time in 6m compared to HU, so I don't really find the fun in 6m anymore.
fold, fold, CO raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 1 BB
Flop:(4.4 BB, 2 players) 9 8 T Hero checks, CO bets 3 BB, Hero raises to 12.96 BB, CO raises to 43.08 BB, Hero raises to 98 BB and is all-in, CO calls 54.52 BB and is all-in
Turn:(199.6 BB, 2 players) 3
River:(199.6 BB, 2 players) 2
Spoiler:
Hero shows 6 Q (High Card, Queen)
(Pre 17%, Flop 55%, Turn 34%) CO shows K K (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 83%, Flop 45%, Turn 66%) CO wins 191.6 BB
Back to the swings of HU today Finally starting to get rid of the flu, but now I'm going on a 2 weeks trip to Sweden so volume will probs still be poor.
1) how to stack a 44% vpip recreational (39 hands, not sure why stats ain't showing up)
Played some on Saturday morning before leaving for Sweden and rather quickly dropped 6 bi EV is +50 in this giraffe. Weather is looking bad in the coming week, so might play more than I thought after all, we'll see.
1) vs big nit w 55% open. Wasn't too sure whether to bet or x this otr. we kinda have to hope he has KQ/QT to make betting better then checking. And I think he shows up w lots of other stuff in his range, so I like my xc line otr. Result was really surprising, don't really get what he is doing.
