So today was a rough one, started out losing for 2 hrs straight before I got something going, shoulda ended my session somewhere around peak tho (obv) as I wasn't properly focused the last couple of hrs, played total of 6 hrs this session. Was some big whales in tonights pool (hence why I wouldn't quit) so a bit frustrating to not have a winning day vs those guys. Oh well, hopefully I'll bounce back soon enough.

Session giraffe:

Lost two 400bb pots tonight where I got in set vs straight and T hi flush vs A hi flush, both vs recr but prob shoulda gotten away from both had I played better.

This one was kinda annoying vs big whale that kept on potting everything postflop

So last night I did some sweat sessions w a guy from 2+2 (cheers man!), and after watching him play and getting into the groove of my 6max thought process again, I decided to play some 6max that night. Won 4 bi pretty quick then it turned around and suddenly I was down 4 bi instead for the session Anways, had lots of fun playing 6max again so will do some more of that in the coming days for sure, I feel these paths where I change it up every now and then gets me more motivated, so think it's a good thing for me personally. Didn't tag a lot of hands for review cus 4tabling 6max zoom goes quicker than 3tabling HU zoom, so I've forgotten about it a lot and just tried to focus on the decisions in-game instead. Will try to tag some hands in the coming days tho!

I don't play HU so take this with a grain of salt..

what was ur thought process in that TT hand? im kinda surprised u didn't 4b/gii, but as played river seems like a really easy fold don't you think? he has so much Ax in his range (or even kx). it kinda sucks since TT is one of the best hands u flat there pre, but I think on this board u could've gotten away.

hope ur sessions turn around bro! im in the same spot.on like a 1k ds :$

It's just a matter of keeping in his trashy hands really, he had a 3b of 54% (14/26 times) and in my notetracker notes I saw he 3bet w QTo, 98o, 87o, so he's gonna have a lot of weird stuff that don't necessary gonna 5b jam/or call my 4b superwide, altho he could for sure be that player but I didn't know that at the time of this hand. Key part was that I've seen him do bad stuff postflop in prev hands (iirc he took this same line w potpotpot postflop against another player in the pool just recently before our hand and turned up w nothing on river), so I think we're gonna make far better decisions than him postflop and have a bigger edge there than hoping for him to spaz out pre or coolering him.

As played I think river is a snapcall, if we see he 2barrels hands like A8 hi on this dry of a board he for sure is gonna do the same w 98o hi or whatever he would 3b. It's a pretty player dependant spot and the hand would play out very different vs a reg, but vs this guy that was just mindlessly barreling postflop I like my calldown

Sorry to hear about the ds man, but let's try to fight back for sure. I know we can do it, just keep on working hard.

Played some more 6max tonight and tried to tag some interesting hands in session, so just gonna drop some here:

vs reg, decided to take a different than the std pre line, not too sure about turn jam on that card but I didn't want to let any more cards roll of otr and I didn't want to fold so yeah.

Had a pretty bad day again yesterday losing 7 bi or so at 50z 6m, also the stars lag issues were beyond terrible when I was gonna put in another session later on, so decided to relax instead. Couple hrs later I was really motivated to play tho, so put in almost 2hrs session at ipoker speed NL100 3tabling (50 didn't run), and won exactly €100. Games were pretty reg infested however, so regular tables might be better over there, but let's hope stars fix their servers soon so weekends are playable there.

Pretty disappointed atm as 6max just hasn't been working out lately, so I'm prob taking another break from those games and just play HU zoom again, think that's my best game atm. Have ran into lots of coolers and bad board runouts along w bad play on my part tho, so I was expecting to be down more than the 14 BIs the months graph is showing really. Not that worried about it, I'll try to bounce back and have a winning month, should still be doable.

6m graph:

This river is prob a fold but can't make them right decisions all the time Kinda funny what he shows up w considering the really nitty stats on him, shows that we need bigger samples.

Yeah I agree, it's just that they always seem to have it w riverjams at 6max but yeah as u say we prob shouldn't be upset about that call.

Mehh I'm not really in that camp, I mean I could prob be convinced it's good but I'd like to keep in his bluffs/stuff like he had, don't really see the whole point in protecting our hand when there is less then a psb left and a street left to play. Yeah it's cool if he bet/calls worse ott, but I think we'll get those same hands to bet or x/c rivers mostly anyways, plus the fact he can still be bluffing and with jamming turn he is forced to fold and we lose $$. We have all seen some pretty weird hand 3barreled vs unknowns/even the biggest nits over couple hundred hands, but it isn't often we get to see guys bet/calling w those hands, so I just think we should give them rope.

Guess we have to fold #3 with AQ on the monotone board. We block the Ah which makes this a pretty spewy calldown imo. But you won, so who knows best

I thought blocking the Ah was a good thing in that hand, cus we then block his valuecombos of A hi flushes. We also block the overpairs AA/QQ, and I don't think he is jamming less for value otr, so I like my calldown. It sucks when we run into 9x or 87hh, but random regs gonna show up w random airballs often enough here I think. It's hard to make pairs+ etc. HU

Speaking of light/spewy calldowns tho;

Looking good Panda!
I'm not too sure on these hands but I'm no HU expert lol. I think I would just valuebet river myself because we are deep, it's a 3b pot and it's not that he is vbetting his 1pair hands on this runout.

I agree the fun is great when we run good, so keep it up

Thanks for comments guys, about hand 4 I just thought it would be cool to mix up our river checking range a bit on this specific card cus I expect him to raise 2prs/sets earlier since we're deep plus he had been active w flop/turn raises vs me, so I thought he would have more floats on this texture, plus I don't really expect him to hero T9 or whatever otr if we bet, so it's not like we should be losing tons of value from his 1pr hands. I just thought he should be bluffing a ton of his floats on this river since we look like we're giving up a lot, still don't understand how he can x back 8 hi

Week officially over, so time for another update Feel I've played pretty well last few days after starting out the week kinda mehh, I'm learning and thinking a lot about HU lately and it really is an awesome game! I'm gonna start taking some more shots at NL100 again, but the zoompool for NL100 has been v dead lately so that kinda sucks. I got to play half an hour of it tonight tho 26 hrs in a week I guess is ok volume, but could def do better if it weren't for football games and stuff lol!

pretty sick spot, not too sure what to think about my call or his jam tbh, I mean he is never bluffing and shouldn't jam worse than Q7 probs? idk, I guess it's a nice freerollspot for him when we have the same hand, but I also have Q9/Q7 here soo.

h1 - if he calls that wide you might have to check river. Don't know what his xc means, draws are probably betting again and overpair might check/raise. So is his range weighted towards weak pairs, 8x 9x and hand like AK/AQ?
I would take note that he cbets that texture with AK. It's not good imo. he would just hope that you have KQ there, not much else really missed.
h3 Agree that's a sick spot. Gz on chopping.
