Lots of changes has happened in my situation this month, that I allowed to derail my goals here. So I will have to adjust them for the month of December.

Not happy how I easily allow changes to derail my goals, part of my mental struggle that needs work!!!

New goal will be 150 hrs poker for December, and 310 lbs.

The mental struggle is real!!!!!!!

losing 16 pounds in one month while grinding full-time (and all other commitments) is HUGE - why not take 1 or 2 new health habits and practice them until they are easy? Like we talk about all the time in the poker world be process oriented not results oriented in the short term

I recently made a big move to me reaching my goals, I started back up my training in Mixed Martial Arts.

Mixed Martial Arts has been a huge part of my family with my son being a black belt and my wife and I being brown belts. We decided to take a break from it 7 months ago with some things going on in our lives at that time making it hard to go.

But I believe rejoining is very important in a few aspects of me reaching my goals.

It is great exercise and with some real motivational people that push you to limits you never could think you could reach.

I have developed a lot of great friendship bonds with people there so the social aspect is great especially for an online grinder.

Nothing is a better stress release than taking a challenging karate class.

It helps build on the discipline needed to thrive in all aspects of your life.

My first class back was definitely a tough one, not only rusty knowing everything I need to but putting on the extra weight made some things I could do easily nearly impossible. But as expected everyone was real motivating and real happy that my family rejoined.

Poker started off rough the last few weeks, but I have recovered from that short downswing and I am up a decent amount so very happy about that as well.
