When you requested the account history, were you able to get all your past hand histories or was it the transactions of table buyins and cashouts.

i'm using iHoldemIndicator which was $100 I believe. pretty obligatory if you're playing more than 4 tables IMO

it was my account history of buyins/cashouts...i think full HH is gone 30 days after the fact unfortunately.

all in all, fine sunday. felt i played extremely well and felt strong mentally. I can think of 3 distinct mistakes I made, of varying orders of severity.

A) going for value that was, realistically, far too thin on the river with an overpair (if I was vs. myself I'd probably go for it again happily)

B) fancy play syndrome vs. a fish

C) a slightly losing shove close to the bubble of the $55 turbo. I still haven't done ICMizer calculations regarding it, and I should, but I'd be astounded if it wasn't decently -EV. extreme short stack ranges can be tough sometimes.

-----

and pretty major typo in my first post...the video game that introduced to poker was Far Cry 3, not Far Cry 2

Fat schedule today--I'll be playing all of it more or less. Will update with any deep runs if they occur.

All in all, somewhat disappointing sunday, as well as the SMPO2 series as a whole. It would be absurd for me to complain really, as I did end up $4k or so positive for the thing, but definitely a lot of potentially nice finishes that ended up just outside of my grasp. The minutia need not be detailed here really, as there's not much worse than MTT-whining (though I often forget this in the 10 minutes right after a bustout).

That being said, I'm very happy with how I've been playing recently, and I feel as though at this point the vast majority of mistakes that do occur I can pinpoint quite accurately quickly after the fact, and I rectify them as necessary so as to prevent them from occurring again.

I can say with confidence that I'm a far stronger player than I was even 2 months ago (and without a doubt stronger than I was 6 months ago), and I can say with confidence that this trend will continue for the foreseeable future (assuming I am still playing poker). There are many nuances to maximizing one's ROI in Bovada MTTs specifically (anonymous, vacuumized poker is a new game entirely, and it's delusional to operate thinking otherwise), and I'm taking advantage of these to a higher degree as time passes.

Life wise, I'm going back to the Chicago area in a week and moving into my new apartment a week after that. The space itself is really nice, and somewhat spacious, so I think I'll be in a really good place mentally as I grind. Also buying a PS4 soon to further indulge my video game habit (which I've had for the past decade and a half)

and side note: if you play OFC Pineapple, you should PM me if you want to spar via this iPhone app (it's a newer, free one that outclasses that older $5 one that I've seen people play on--the icon is a pineapple with sunglasses) and we can exchange usernames. I only play bots right now and they get torn apart far too easily

you have figured out angel zera's secret.

He is an elite GTO bot developed by Ike Haxton, sent from the future to kill Bovada games and make them unbeatable

Dude I'm curious about a couple of things: did you build your bankroll playing hu sngs as you alluded to or mix in some mtts as well while you were building and how many hours a week do you normally put in to your grind of mtts?

I built a portion of it using HU SNGs, as when I grinded them they were really my only game. I probably put in most volume at the 10.50s and 21s. After the 14k bink early on though, I fell in love with MTTs and began playing them almost exclusively.

I will have rare days where I battle for the 52.50-105s turbo tables (or sit them if they're empty) to remain sharp in the format--I still study it as well. Primarily because it's such a fun format...but also because on a site where you can't chop at final tables, not being a complete killer heads up is essentially taking mountains of cash and lighting them on fire while laughing maniacally at your sense of monetary masochism.

Currently trying to learn no limit 2-7 Triple Draw--if anyone's interested in playing some heads up on Stars for play money, PM me? Alternatively, I think I'm typically the only player sitting the play money tables on the site (when I'm online), so you can just sit me there (username is the same as here)

Same here haha--if you're ever making a run I'd love to rail though. I'll message you to exchange skype a bit later on perhaps

Let's try today again...fat stack in the $109 turbo with around 39 of 224 remaining. Let's make something happen.

edit: ITM with 3 tables remaining

14 remaining. I am guzzling coffee like a drug fiend, as I am running on very little sleep--at least it's a turbo, so 77% less thinking than in general
