All in all, somewhat disappointing sunday, as well as the SMPO2 series as a whole. It would be absurd for me to complain really, as I did end up $4k or so positive for the thing, but definitely a lot of potentially nice finishes that ended up just outside of my grasp. The minutia need not be detailed here really, as there's not much worse than MTT-whining (though I often forget this in the 10 minutes right after a bustout).
That being said, I'm very happy with how I've been playing recently, and I feel as though at this point the vast majority of mistakes that do occur I can pinpoint quite accurately quickly after the fact, and I rectify them as necessary so as to prevent them from occurring again.
I can say with confidence that I'm a far stronger player than I was even 2 months ago (and without a doubt stronger than I was 6 months ago), and I can say with confidence that this trend will continue for the foreseeable future (assuming I am still playing poker). There are many nuances to maximizing one's ROI in Bovada MTTs specifically (anonymous, vacuumized poker is a new game entirely, and it's delusional to operate thinking otherwise), and I'm taking advantage of these to a higher degree as time passes.
Life wise, I'm going back to the Chicago area in a week and moving into my new apartment a week after that. The space itself is really nice, and somewhat spacious, so I think I'll be in a really good place mentally as I grind. Also buying a PS4 soon to further indulge my video game habit (which I've had for the past decade and a half)
and side note: if you play OFC Pineapple, you should PM me if you want to spar via this iPhone app (it's a newer, free one that outclasses that older $5 one that I've seen people play on--the icon is a pineapple with sunglasses) and we can exchange usernames. I only play bots right now and they get torn apart far too easily
