I just got upgraded to a suite on a $30 room at Harrahs. I think the front desk girl was trying to make moves but I was half asleep and just chatted a bit and smiled. That suite upgrade with the jacuzzi turned out to be way -EV for my phone. Variance sucks - just had to check one important email and had to get all butter fingers with it. I'm without phone til further notice, going to try to turn it on later maybe. But I have like 500 hours of data in there that I now wish I was regularly exporting into the spreadsheet ECGrinder sent me. Ugh.

Dang that always sucks, I wouldn't turn it on for a day or two to let it completely dry out (if you attempted to turn it on or charge it while wet its probably drawing dead at this point). Get some silica packets (or rice can work) and put it in a ziplock bag with your phone to absorb the moisture. Also remove all the batteries and whatever can come off the phone. Shake your phone out to make sure its dry and hope you run good.

this will work and the phone will turn on again but the battery life will be very very short. if you dont have an iphone you can probably get a battery cheap. its also important that you dont try to turn it on when it's wet as that will most likely fry everything.
