Yeah, on the bubble he should. It sucks to get such a good hand in that spot that you can't realize all of the value of it - rather than getting it after the bubble, but you should just rip it in.

Ran horrible for a while, but grinded my ass off and bagged 73.1K. I was down to 16K and had to get it in and fade 2 outs with one card to come, and held, thankfully... Other than that, I pretty much was card dead/spot dead for hours and had like two clear value bets all day - the rest was defense and thin value/bluffs.

It's a shame because my table was pretty sick - two guys were "straddling" all day (blind raising UTG), unfortunately one was on my BB and I was sandwiched between them which put me in tough/gross spots post-flop all day. I probably made the worst fold of my life, but it was possibly the right play against my opponent's range given the action and stack depth.

Never the less, I survived and advanced with an above average stack despite some trying circumstances - I'll take it!

The place is packed. They took away tables in the Kings room and tables at the entrance to the hotel poker room for WSOP tournaments (I think the 1 pm and 4 pm deepstacks). They also take away cash game tables... The third day 1 field size must be huge.
Do you get to pick which day 1, or is it assigned?

Had it up to 330K and change for a while, but lost a huge pot in the last level to dip to 225K.. then down to ~200K. Ran it back up to 262.2K to return tomorrow.

Happy with how I played, and looking forward to tomorrow!

Fun fact: I've had 0 AA and 1 KK so far. I did flop a straight early on and a set toward the middle of the day, and I also fielded a 110K punt at 500/1K with AK on K65dd Jx Ax when my opponent went ballistic with JTo (no diamond) by x/r flop and blasting turn and river. I got the full double in that one.

Thanks everyone! Interesting table draw... Small, but non-zero chance I end up on a featured table. Maybe 3-5%. Virtually 0 as long as Ivey and Hellmuth are still in and on different tables though.

Either way is fine by me. I'm just going to be doing my thing, handling my business.

Thanks everyone! Had it up over 800K, but got a little unlucky in one pot vs Volpe then made a mistake in the other one on the river going for thin value.

I then got it in with him, and I was covered for 100bb at risk for the stone bubble. AA vs AA all in preflopHe flopped the backdoor flush draw, but we faded it thankfully. 525K in the bag coming back tomorrow.

Counting that one (which is really only sick because of the bubble) I played four absolutely sick hands today, and made the right decisions at each point in all of them. Three were against Arieh, Altergott and Volpe, too, so it was tough competition. Pretty happy with that. I will probably post at least one of them, but two of them may have to remain secret.

I also have a hilarious story that will have to wait until after this run is over.
