I got some of that heat obviously after complaining in the morning. Woke up to standard grind 4pm and played 9 hours and had to quit because couldn't focus anymore. Finished 3rd in 26plo8, chopped 5r plo8 and won 55 plo8 haha Great day, +1,5k or so. Weeeeeee! 4 days to holidays, hope I don't butcher all this profit in these last days.

I still need to work a lot on my mental game. Losing makes me too sad and winning makes me happy but play bad lol. Today I felt like I had an edge in 5r 3way but just wanted to chop it and secure an awesome day. -EV$ but +happiness.

Back to the business. I made some money today (~$1k) but apparently I'm in the #teamcantclose. Here's todays session:

FT bubble in 5r.
6th in daily $55 plo8. Played bad. No excuses.
Chop hu $11 plo8, couldn't finish it because had too many tables.
8.8 omania 2nd/680!!!! Deepest run ever in this stupid crapshoot and I was so nitty that I wanted to deal 3way or hu but the other reg didn't want to. So we played and I think he saw it coming that my T732 was no good on 24Q flop

Two more days of grind and then the well earned holiday. Going to take a check where I'm at for the month on thursday after session. I feel like I'm a lot behind of the goals and taking time off isn't going to help. Oh well gotta adjust next month. Was nice to run good this last week so the holidays are going to taste better ...Or worse If I donate 1k during wednesday&thursday but that's pretty hard. Anyways awesome day today!

Although I Can't believe I didn't win. lol ran as good as you need to win a turbo and started hu like 4 : 1 advantage + massive skill edge. Refused deal -> Obviously lost all flips. But whatever, great week behind! Can't hit the goals, they were too high. Or I was too lazy

Ugh so I'm finally back at work after 8 rough days of vacation. Gotta say it was lot tougher than work lol.

Did great today and made like 1,5k. Won some money from sngs and came 2nd in 27 omania Some heroic dude didn't want to deal and we had a good battle with him in heads up with nice deep stacks but finally he got me. I made some stupid play and got frustrated and started to spew. He was good enough to put me in the cage while I was dicking around

Played also some cash today.. I Don't know about it. I suck but it's fun for a change. I've been making some money in it but I run like 10bb/100 over EV. Need to learn it if I want to keep playing it more. For the last days of the month I'm trying to push hard and play long days and see where I can get before the end. I don't have much time left anymore here on the rock so gotta try to push myself. And I'm full of energy after my excellent and perfectly went vacation

Did ok had my week off which kinda made impossible to reach those goals. And I think tracker is a bit off. Profit for the month was around 5k. I won 22nlo8 6max today which was nice but I spewed my stack in 109 when I was CL which pissed the **** out of me and had to stop registering. Winning made me happy again thou haha

I'm in really good pace to make 60k this year after first quarter. I'm above 15k up this year already. Supernova seems to be a tough one even Im at the 100k VPP pace atm for the year. Really happy about some changes I've done and I think I can do the profit goal. Or at least beat my last year. I don't know how much it will affect my grind when I get back to Finland but I hope not too much. I can always find a room in Malta and get back in a short notice if I want to. We'll see how the grind fits with school in the end of the year. I re-evaluate school if I win enough but this isn't it.

Dont really know about this months volume because I have a lot of stuff to do and fun things coming up. So let's take it easier but try to play as much as possible:

Soooo two days behind this month. Yesterday I chopped $55 and $11. Today had a chance in 55 but ended 7th. 3rd day a row FT in it. Instead chopped 26 today hu. It's a good start for the month but tomorrow (or today lol) is FTOPS plo8 and I plan to play full weekend so anything can happen. I want some glory in the majors, One time not a brick weekend!

how did u find these games? and howd you learn/get better? did you have coaching or just figured things out for yourself, doesnt seem to be much info out on these games.

Hey Mr. Spew. It's a long story. I just checked lobby and thought how can the flop% be so high and avg pot so big even in higher stakes. So I jumped in, got some advice from my friend. Then watched video series and worked a lot myself but that wasn't quite enough because I wanted to get in the top so I got some coaching and kept working on my own. I then spent a lot of time and money in coaching and it helped me a lot. This was all in cash games and then from some random happenings I started to play MTTs/SNGs. Got coaching too and kept working on my game.

I agree that there isn't good info about these games out there. It was one thing that inspired me to work on this game and I was so bored with hold em. Even these days there yet isn't good solid info on the games and I kinda like it. I've been asked to do videos for the game but at least for now I'm not going to do it. The player pool is so small that you don't really want to reveal your game to other tough regs.

At the moment I'm not working enough on my game. I've gotten kind of arrogant or something and think that I don't need to which is not true. Time will go past me if I don't change my attitude even though at the moment I can beat the games with very good rate. Of course at this point it is almost impossible to find a coach who I would respect / is a lot better than me. Those people basically don't coach but it would be cool to get some insight in my game again. It is really hard to find a coach for this game.

Cashed 0 MTTs and no love in the ftops but luckily there's one more coming for me in one week. Going to win that one then. Little change to plans cause my brains feel like fried after grinding a week (weak). Going to take tomorrow off and see what happens which might mean saturday off too

Update:

Took all weekend off + couple extra days lol. Been lazy. Tilted today with connection problems and run to a bar with monkeytilt. Haven't played much but winning nicely, month is at like +2k. Makes me lazy but I try to step up this weekend! Friday-Monday heavy grinding only.

These cash games are saving my bad days haha. I try to table select strictly but usually don't remember to run away when tables get too tight. Need to get better so I don't have to run away. Made a huge mistake spewing my money in 2012 which led me not to play cash for 14 months. Now skills and hard work is gone. Regs are probably laughing at me and stacking my money (if I didnt run this good). boooooo.

Excited about the weekend because it will be the last full weekend I get to play for like next 4 weeks or something. Let's win something +55, it's been too long from last time
