Yuck. Was friends going away party on wed and also my parents asked if they could store something in my garage which meant I had to clean that up which ended up taking about 2 hours during the middle of my session. Things just aren't going well for volume this month. I am running pretty well, mainly up on EV though. All in all if I was being results oriented I could be happy with this month, but overall I am pretty disappointed so far. Sat/Sun/Mon will be pretty busy as well for me so hopefully can get some time in today and tmrw morn.

Just sort of withdraw as needed. I do have a lot of expenses, but gf has recently started making a bit more money with another pay raise coming in sept and the dollar is doing worse here (which is good for me) by a fair bit, so hopefully that can offset some of it and I can start taking some shots in the next couple months.

Well, not a full day but at least I got some in. I have been sliding pretty bad but I am getting an early night and trying to get back into some long hours tomorrow. February is a big write-off for my volume goals, but I would like to build some mental stamina so I can hit the ground running in March. 3 days left in February so I'm hoping to make the best of it. 2 goals I haven't been using that really help me out are to start playing within 1 hour of waking, and getting to bed at a decent hour. If I don't have a specific goal I usually start about 2 hours after I wake up, but don't really get anything done in that extra hour.

Gross, so much red. As I've said before I was pretty lazy, but also had a bunch of unexpected days where there was no way I could get stuff done. I think I could have maxed out around 15 hours this week which still would have been a lot better. I'm not sure if I am going to finish my linear algebra class, I might take it next semester instead. I have a lot to catch up on but I think my priority should be getting hours in this week. If I can get a bunch done on Sunday I might stick with it. Glad to get this post done, it's a bit late since it's not fun to go through a review of such a fail week All caught up now, time to get it.

Ugh just running so ****ty all month which isn't helping the volume situation. Got up early and started early which was good. Pretty crappy day again, accumulated tilt is starting to build up and I had to quit for the day after I lost 3bi in ~10 minutes including two horrible beats. Well, pretty crappy month in terms of results (considering I ran fairly far over EV) and especially volume. Also definitely took a step back in terms of my mental game goals. I was definitely a lot busier than I thought I would be this month with real life stuff, but I still definitely could have gotten at the very least prob 20k hands more in. The one positive was I did a lot more studying this month and feel like my game has improved. This has also, ironically, led to more tilt though. I am def seeing more mistake tilt, since I feel like I shouldn't be making mistakes when working so hard on my game. This is actually probably the opposite of what happens, since I am learning so many things that aren't at the level of Unconscious Competence yet. I need to keep this in mind in March and also continue to drill the concepts into my core game. I also need to probably be rereading my notes on Mental Game of Poker and make that a priority again. I miss the proud feeling of going through a bad day but still achieving all of my mental game goals.

Thx man, although it sort of fell off a cliff the last half of this month. I think it looks better than it is when I update so often though (although that in itself is work, esp when I'm not running well or hitting my goals, so I'm happy I've kept up with it)

Something I am working on incorporating into my game. Usually something aggressive since that is what I naturally struggle with and the goals help with that. Examples might be overbet bluffing, 3 barrel bluff 3bet pot, x/r and fire 3 shells on a dry runout etc. I keep it vague since some people know my screenname and if they know I am trying to overbet bluff 4x today or something that's not great
