As my username indicates my name is Austin Morlan. I'm 30 years old and I've been playing cards on a recreational level for about 10 years now. I love the game and have def paid to learn it. This year I plan to take my playing to new level and get a little more serious about it. I recently started playing on Lock and have been doing pretty well with MTTs and .10/.20 NLHE but would really like to focus my efforts on my live action. I'm also looking to establish new friendships and partnerships with other like-minded poker players so that I can continue to evolve my game. I plan to use this thread to chronicle this year. Looking to play some of the larger Lock MTTs tomorrow. will post results and some hand situations tomorrow night. Look forward to meeting some new players!

Playing 100k satys this morning. hopefully we can get in cheap! also gonna play the 10k,8k, and possibly a few others this evening. My goal today is to make 1k! Lets get this year off to a good start!

So after a pretty disappointing weekend last week I took second in the $55 4k gtd on Lock for $840. Not bad but i would have liked to have won. HU the guy became a cardrack and i just couldnt catch up. Oh well tomorrow is gonna be fun. prolly playing the same basic lineup as last weekend.

So after a year and a half break and some bumps in the road I have been taking the necessary steps to take my playing to the next level. I play only live now seeing as how Internet poker in the U.S. sucks at best and I live right outside of Las Vegas. I'm gonna be making the jump to playing full time in the near future and welcome any advice, critique, or suggestions.

And for the record 2013 sucked hahahah
