Decided I'm going to make a thread here to document my grind on Bovada.
I am starting with a $5000 bankroll and will be somewhat aggressive with it starting with 200NL and some mixed in 500NL. I will post interesting hands as well as bankroll updates throughout. I usually play at most 2-3 hours a day but have plenty of days of not playing at all so this won't be a heavy grind thread, unfortunately.
About me:
I am 25 years old and currently work in Finance as my full-time job in NYC but have been playing poker since high school (probably around 2009). I haven't been playing a ton in the last couple years but have been playing a lot for the past couple months on Americas Card Room with some positive success (Mostly a decent amount of run good). I'll post my graph later at ACR but I'm up about 7K in the cash games shot taking there and I hear Bovada is much softer so I'm going to give it a shot.
Anyways thanks to any who follow but I'm using this thread to keep myself accountable as well as to get some feedback on tough hands, etc.
I know you said that you are being aggressive with your bankroll, but I think starting with $5k and playing 500NL is a bit too aggressive. It is pretty aggressive even for 200NL. Many a player have had 20BI downswings. Anyway, not sure what your goals are, but want you to be set up for success. GL
