Last couple days I havent been doing **** all. Played 1 hr a day and ran not good. I installed a game called battlerite to play with some friends I used to play Dota with (was a boss in that game btw). Problem with me is that once I start being interested in something I obsess pretty hard. So thats what Ive been doing lol.
Think its fine though to chilout sometimes for a day or two so Im not overly concerned, but had a reveleation yesterday evening that I needed to get my **** together again.
My 150k goal till december is going mega ****e so maybe I was beeing a bit too ambitiout, but if games are good in Dec im gonna ****ing go for it anyway.
For now though, I decided its more important that i start getting some more consistent volume in. Because of that, I decided to start a bit slower with a 2k hand/day volume challenge.
Before I hit the 2k hands Im not allowed to do anything else for the day except for eating/studying. Will update every day to hold myself accountable. Additionally,
first post after every update gets a 5USD freeroll if I dont hit the 2k for the next day (this post counts too).
Obv exceptions might happend and I reserve myself to have 1day free everyweek regardless (I will announce these in the daily update before those days).

Done for the day, had an extremely frustrating session but went okay in the end. So if youre one of the regs that I trashtalked, dont take it too srs jk you prob have no clue what youre doing

Gym reflections on my life
Was thinking about skipping gym/swim for a minute but quickly trashed that thought and went - cant be more glad that i did.
I also decided to not take my phone with me. I already feel like our smartphones and social media are taking way too much time and energy from us in our lives and decided to spend some time purely with myself and some iron - once again cant be more glad that i did.
I reflected on some things and came to the following decisions:
- Grind/study harder - i aim high for a reason
I also realised from todays session that I was behaving like the ego driven **** that I was a year ago, trashtalking other regs for no benefit whatsoever - pure entitlement tilt. I think that that behaviour is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As i mentionned earlier I rarely tilt and today was kind of a wake up call. Ill be doing some more mental game work tomorrow (which I have neglected) and start being more professional again.
After all Im not the young inflated ego degen desperately trying to run it up anymore. Im a professional poker player and im playing for a serious amount of money - I think this is something that is easy for us to forget...
That said I believe berating/critizing other people is often a sign of issues in ones own mental space. It often comes from ones own insecurities or entitlement/inpatience. Its important to realise though: when you start comparing yourself to others, you already lost.
Tomorrow Im going to take some time for myself and do some self reflection: honestly evaluate about where I currently stand and come to terms with that. Then im going to think about where I want to be and work towards that. I strongly recommend this to everyone.
- Im gonna minimize my time i spend on my smartphones and social media. Only gonna use it for communication purposes and music, and deleting all other nonsense apps such as ig, fb and snap. Also gonna turn all my notifications off on my phone and check messages twice a day (once after grind, once after dinner if im not with friends).
- Im always already trying to do this, but sometimes it slips: be the person you wish to see when you imagine yourself 5,10,20 years from now on. Mainly this means for me that Im gonna be putting more effort in being more clean and organized again and also stop wasting time with useless activities. Also gonna stop watching porn - always thought that was some toxic crap for our brains tbh. Free dopamine insta gratification cuck ****
- Spend more effort into crypto research again
- Go harder in the gym and become a beast at swimming
- Plan remains to make 1M with poker/crypto and maybe other activities till 2019. Might move to live MTTs next year. Then 2019 I plan to do a bunch of travelling while investing and maybe playing a bit on the side, but mostly focussing on seeing the world, finding some peace, and cultivating myself with culture/knowledge/wisdom. 2020 is then going to be the big year. Am already hella excited for it

Oh also me and one of my best friends decided to also go for a no lie challenge where both of us will completely abstain from any dishonesty. Think thats really really good tbh. Impact the relationship to oneself and ones integrity imo.
