I threw out all my XMR for iota. I think with it being implemented on Bittrex and Q coming in the near future, now is a great time to buy iota.

Hmm, maybe I'll do that. I've got such a small amount of XMR though and it's not listed on Kraken (I know it sucks) that by the time I transfer for somewhere that lists IOTa it might not be worth it.

I read that it's difficult for exchanges to list it because of the technology behind it. Kraken always seem to be pretty useless though so maybe it's time I moved over to Bitfinex or Bittrex...

I sold some BTC at 16k yday and bought back into some VTC, Salt, IOT, XMR, ETH.

I have just got into crypto this week, whats the best way to learn?

Learn from the people who just "got into" it last week.

Also some advice: buy low, sell high.

The first thing to learn about crypto (and I learned the hard way) is that there are no 'Crypto-experts' only people who guessed right.

There is some good advice about which exchanges to use and perhaps some good avice on which coins have the most potential.

At the end of the day though, no one knows which coins are best to buy and hodl and no-one knows what is a good/bad price.

Just buy Bitcoin and some others that you like the look of and enjoy the ride imo.

Best thing to do is draw some shapes on charts and start a twitter account. Then you can push money around in the biggest bull market of all time according to said shapes, and claim you're a trader and that technical analysis is a real thing.
Soon, you'l get tons of followers, and you just have to post things every day like 'Crypto is the future' '**** normies' 'Hodl till I die' etc, brag about how much you made. Normally best to multiply your actual earnings by 10 or 100x to get more 'respect.'

Alternative approach is to read up some basic economics, ignore anyone who day trades, follow some of the people who talk about the actual crypto space , rather than people who talk about trading in it. And then expose some portion of your net worth in a diversified portfolio, using your new found knowledge to make reasonable picks. And don't paint a target on your back by talking about your assets.

Approach one makes you 10x cooler though.

Positive of this variation is that you are not an actual believer of shapes on charts, you just pretend to be.

Ive been doing IF last 2 years, and it works pretty well for me, even the beginning wasnt hard.
Also in regards to meditating, the only thing you need to do is getting to it, the way it worked for me was that every time I didnt do it, the ego won and I wasnt about to let him win :P + youll see the benefits once you start to do it daily, I meditated 3-4 times a week for 4 years, 2 years ago I started to do it daily because of some panic attacks and theres a world in difference once you really commit to it.

Anyway its hard to get motivated to do anything else from money when crypto is just massively printing. But on the other hand we cant expect it to be like this every month so i guess its more responsible to start playing some again, or atleast find some other way to make money.


I feel like ive accidentally did IF amost my whole life by not eating breakfast for a long time lol. Feels very easy. I decided to cut now instead of trying to continue bulking with a gym that is missing a bunch of material. Im still undecided about keto, gonna read more about it again.

Does anyone drink whiskey here? I wake up every morning and go swim then go ontop of the roof and chill, think about my day and feel great. Thought it might be cool to do something similar in the evening before going to bed while drinking some whisky. Obv wouldnt do it if it had negative consequences, but read only postitive things so far wrt to drinking whisky in moderation.

I've been getting more and more into whisky over the last couple years, have probably a $15k+ collection at point just from casually buying up. Is it something you've drank much of in the past? If not, happy to give you some pointers on different styles and maybe some good 'beginner' drams.

I too am finding it tough focusing on poker this month, when everything in the cryptosphere is just going nuts. It's a lot of fun doing minimal research and making this much money. Long may it continue!

I wonder if a sustainable crypto strat longterm is just buy the blue chip coins and hodl while getting kinky with some promising alts - legit all anyone I know has done and the most "research" people I know have done is just looking into the tech behind coins/icos and deciding whether they like em or not. Maybe crpyto is just printing money regardless of your strat because it's still so new. Feels 2 EZ.

I am looking to buy some crypto. I like the blockchain tech behind it but what I struggle with is basically bitcoin was blockchain 1.0 most of the rest of the coins are improvements in terms of tech but trade at much lower values per coin, even if you account for current and potential future supply.

If BTC goes to £100k+ like some think then it will drag the rest up with it but I think there is more opportunity with alt coins closing the gap with bitcoin price if they gain widespread adoption in the financial or banking industry.

For me, and correct me if I am wrong as I am new to this, I like:
ETH - $700 a coin with 4x BTC supply, second largest market cap, faster than BC, cheaper transactions that BC and financial industry involved in development. If on par with bitcoin gets to $3,500 per coin.
Litecoin - Similar to ETC max supply is 4x BTC, 1/20th of market cap despite having better transaction cost and speed. Fairly well known.
IOTA - 1/30th market cap of BTC. Interesting applications for machine v machine transactions.
Cardano - Also only 2% of BTC market cap and based on a different protocol that does not require energy intensive mining to solve blocks. Back by several universities with a clear road map.

I liked the look of NEM but read Tony G was involved somehow which undermines is credibility somewhat...

These are the coins I am looking at getting in to when there is a broad market correction any thoughts on the logic or other coins anyone else likes as alternatives?

My advice on Cardano, is read about what it is, what it does, what product they have, find a real world reference point, and ask yourself, is 13 billion dollars a fair valuation.
