Hey guys my name is Ray (20 yrs old) and I'm going to begin a challenge to grow my 1K starting bankroll to 10K by the end of 2016. I will be 4 tabling 25NL cash games on Bovada and take my 50NL shot at around ~ $1500. Here is some information about me. I learned about poker as a teen and fell in love with the aspect of being able to be better at someone in a game of cards and being able to profit off of that. When I was 18 I made a few $20 deposits on Bovada with no bankroll education and constantly got cleaned out. I was terrible lol. I starting watching videos on Youtube, read about 5 books, analyzed hand histories from players and started to grow my game. When I turned 20 I got a refund from my university of $750 I began to grind it up 4 tabling 25NL and had about $1300 in a week. I began playing out of my bankroll and played games with my whole roll on the line at times. All in all I had about $7000 in 2 weeks and felt unstoppable. I ended up getting 4 outtered and lost 2K and proceeded to tilt away my remaining winnings trying to make up for my losses. Since February I since been working on my game and experience failure and know what I need to do as a successful poker player. I will be starting on Friday and if you guys have any questions let me know this is my first time doing this!

Hey guys so heres an update:
I started with a $861 bankroll on 8/5/16 and have been playing 25NL on Bovada. Current bankroll is at $1064 and I've put in about 24 hours these past two days lol. But I will continue to grind and update when possible. GL to all.

Hey guys here's an update. I've been putting tons of volume on Bovada since the start of my challenge and things have been going well. I don't have PokerTracker or anything to record my statistic but I've amassed 1268 poker points on Bovada. I don't know if thats a good perspective on how many hands I've played but I've been playing 12+ hours a day . Current bankroll is at $1594 and I'm excited to reach the 2K mark soon! The days have been a grind and my eyes are definitely exhausted but I've always aspired to be a professional poker player and building a 10K bankroll is just the first step in the process. I'm going to get back to grinding. Good luck to all!

Hey guys hope all is going well at the tables. So here's the update: the grind has been going well at the tables, I love what I am doing and the passion I have for the game has never been so strong before its overwhelming. I can't wait to reach my 10K mark but I know I must enjoy the journey along the way to be able to look back on what I've done. I actually stayed up 36 hours the last two days with about 28 of those grinding the game, its insane how much dedication I have. I continue to eat well and exercise and I'm looking forward to results I make on my physique as well. Only thing is I feel as if I look tired sometimes due to the mental concentration I put but thats besides the point. Anyways current bankroll is at $1981 and Im excited to be properly rolled for 50NL. The dream is alive lets go!

Im new to this how would people go about posting their hands on this forum? Would you need the Hold Em Indicator or PokerTracker? Let me know please!

Anyways I satellited into the Bovada 15K Guarentee and ended up placing seventh for about ~$670 so close to the 3.7K up top . I had a good spell of cards along the way and enjoyed the tourney a lot I might start adding some to my schedule who know Current bankroll is at $2710 and Im officially a quarter of the way there in just a week! Life is good guys I'm going to continue grinding, good luck to you all!

Hey guys the grind is still going on and I got the free trial of Hold Em Indicator and I must say it has helped my game as far as reading opponent tendencies. The cash grind is continuing with shots taken at 100NL I have ran and played very well maxing value out of my nutted hands Im very happy with my results. I just min cashed the Bovada 7K for about ~$190 66>AK but other than that my 100NL game is at an A right now I will continue to multi table cash. Bankroll is at $3712 and still growing! I can't wait to get to 200NL! Good luck at the tables y'all!
