Im pretty sure you will reach to 10k, but you probably need more time for it to happen...

You're right I would've needed more time for sure, but that goes against the spirit of the "Challenge." Best of luck to you at the tables, wishing you have your third best month in a row.

Very disappointed I couldn't complete it guys... Typing this right after my stream and I feel a bit deflated. I tried to play some 500NL, but the tables only lasted until 7pm ish... Played a B game for much of the day and forced it at the end making high variance plays in 500NL - it just wasn't to be. We end the challenge at $3.3K. Will definitely look to stream in the future playing higher stakes, tourneys and challenges. Appreciate you all for stopping by to have a read and especially the ones who supported me along the way (and continue to support me).

To those who want to see me grind it up to 10K from my current roll, I will consider maybe doing a 4K-10K in 14 Days mini challenge for you guys possibly starting Sunday if you'd like.

Thanks guys!

What about doing a regular PG&C thread and just post about progress over the week / month / year without having to worry about assigning time periods and goals?

I'm down, but would like it if you kept all your challenges in one thread?

Keeps me from having to find and resubscribe.

Also, now is the time to pay 9.90 per month for the no commercials, extra time for streams payment.

Use that roll for something!

Good suggestion, I'm planning on reviving the 500NL to the Moon thread in the near future and will track some progress there as well run challenges on the side. Although I really do enjoy the hype/fun of running challenges and I believe it is very attractive to new players as well as regs. Very fun content I enjoy to put out there. Appreciate the suggestion and interest throughout my journey, will definitely keep you updated.

Haha genius Idea! Maybe just one super challenge thread? :P

At the same time I feel like every challenge is it's own story in a sense and I find it entertaining to create a subplot for each of them. Thanks for the future insights (crummy joke I know :P) and I will take them into account starting with the $10.90 Prime and looking into creating a montage video to sum up the challenge.

Hey man, I had a blast watching that stream where you put in a monster 8 hour session playing a mix of HU and 6-max. Even if you didn't hit the challenge goal this time around, you still made a nice profit. Keep up the great work, will be tuning in to future streams.

Haha Thanks Redline, a couple of those sessions towards the end were nuts! Thanks a lot for following me along the journey and taking the time to comment, I appreciate it man. Plan on getting a stream together tonight or tomorrow.

Over the last month in a half I have taken my foot off the pedal and shifted my poker journey in neutral after seeking balance in my life. I feel I have found that balance and am feeling better than ever in terms of my energy, health, drive and overall mindset. During my hiatus I have been playing the odd mid-high stakes games here and there as well as 50-200NL to prepare me for this challenge. I feel this challenge should be easier than my previous $57-$20K challenge where I fell just short after again shifting in neutral towards the end. Either way it was a pretty decent grind and the journey was well worth the experience. Now I have a slightly different task at hand which seems easier on paper, $1K-10K, but the handicap of streaming the entirety of the challenge may prove to be difficult.

Previous Challenge: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...97/?highlight=

Rules:

- The Duration of this Challenge will be 30 Days and in this time I must grind my bankroll up from $1,000USD to $10,000USD
- I am not allowed to deposit
- I will play on Partypoker
- I can play any format of poker, but likely will only stick to cash games
- I cannot skip days and continue the day where I left off (ie. Day 1 = April 12th, if I don't play on April 13th then April 14th = Day 3).
- All Rakeback accumulated will contribute to the challenge
- All gameplay must be streamed live on my stream - https://www.twitch.tv/johncpoker17, I am NOT permitted to play outside of the stream, or money gained away from stream will be void towards the challenge funds

Sidenotes: I have been very busy as of late away from the felt (or the monitor), so this will force me to be very disciplined around and away from poker in order to ensure good life balance and daily organization.

I will likely start on Monday, April 12th, however I will post on here if I do change that date, but I will only have 30days from Day 1.

isnt streaming it bad people can clock what your doing over time in areas? find holes to poke vs you

GL anyways

All streamers face that challenge. They still stream.

Blimey, he's a good-looking bastard isnt he! I thought Scott Eastwood had fired up a stream for a minute there.

You come across well man, impressive stuff.

I do find it amusing when people expect proper bankroll management in challenges like this. Good luck going from $1k to 10k in 30 days if you're waiting until you have 40buyins to take a shot. It goes without saying that you're gunna need aggressive BR management combined with positive variance to make it happen. I'm pretty sure Doug Polk started at 3.5k the day he made it to 10k in his challenge. If anything, these challenges have shown me the importance of taking a shot. You just have to be willing to move down quickly if it goes wrong.
