Hi, I am a young dude from brazil who started playing poker with friends a couple years ago. I really enjoyed the game and soon began to look for free content that would teach me the basics. Took me a while to learn the abc´s, not worrying about making money at all, just curious about this little game. I actually started to get a better understanding when I joined RIO, and now I am less of a fish. Had some unsuccesfull deposits, where I ran up my roll a lil bit and then punted blablabla, same old stuff.
Messed around with mtt´s, sit n go´s, 6max cash, hu, all the fun stuff. Right now I wanna foucus at 6max cash games, mostly zoom, but i might change my mind. Cash games are more challenging than mtt´s imo, and I dont enjoy how long mtt´s sessions can be, but sure am gonna fire some now and then.
have ~70k hands on my db, but aint gonna post anything cause it´s too ugly , some due to me being bad at the times, some because of tilt (down a bunch on 50nl cap HU, which I had no idea on how to play properly).
I am going to start at 16z, looking to put in some volume the following weeks and move up to 25nl soon hopefully. 16nl pool is super soft, bunch of recs and regs are pretty weak. My winrate goal will be 7evbb/100, which I think is doable for sure.

Today´s graph so far. Started off really bad, I was playing ok, but I was really bricking everything. Started hitting some hands and coolering some people at some point, and luckly managed to break even after that horrible 1.5k hands.
Made some good folds, which is good, but faced a lot of weird stuff. Overall happy with my play, 8/10, but def have a lot to imrpove.

Hands:

1- maybe could have folded, but since he is a fish he could show up with some worse stuff for value idk





2-vs aggro guy, didnt wanna 4bet so deep, turn call is ok?







3- he snapped lol. people cant fold boats, so just went for max value.

Done for the day! Started poorly, but managed to make some nice profit. Pretty happy with my volume and overall play today, 8/10.
Played 1.1k reg tables and 4k hands zoom, 5k total. Funny thing is that I lost a lil on zoom, and won a lot on the regular tables. So, tomorrow I will stick to the regular one´s for the most part, seems like the best choice for me right now.

H1: betting the river seems very thin. he wont have many worse hands that are gonna pay off a jam with this line imo, only sets and flushes I think, so I believe it´s better to check, and most likely fold.





Didn´t have many interesting hands, mostly standard spots, donations and some coolers.

Done for the wednesday grind, got a little lazy with the volume, but it´s fine, stars had a server restart too which got in my way.
Started the day very strong, winning a bunch of pots at the zoom pool, since there werent many reg tables. Then I lost some big all ins where I was waay ahead to get me close to even. But the thread run good is too strong, and after lunch I came back and simply won all the monies. I played pretty well , 8,5/10, but gotta say thanks to everyone who donated to me this afternoon, would be -34bb/100 if it weren´t for them . At one moment I was sitted at a table with literally 5 recs lol

actually, now that I gave it some though, bluffing river on H1 seems pretty decent. I am almost positive I had him as a reg, so can imagine he folding some 2pairs for sure, as well as some AJ, KJ, KQ+ he has.

why did you fold h3??? could even rip it in at some frequency as a bluff with Kd. But calling seems decent.

I think my hand is a bluffcatcher and dont think he bluffs enough. At higher stakes it´s kinda crazy to fold this i know, but I am very confident making these nit folds at 16nl. Shoving is an option for sure, but I dont like to assume these bad regs can fold 2p+ unless I see something outstanding.

You dominate some value hands ie AJ which probably bets at some frequency and we can probably assign a smallish portion of bluffs. Enough for a call imo, and then we could say we chop AK at a reasonable frequency kind of solidifying everything. Just my opinion though

So, one more day of grinding done (might play a little more latter), and again it was a great one. Starting to feel good about my game, solid 9/10 today. The tables are infested with recs donating money, but now that I have a decent sample on some regs, I am also making some good adjustments vs them. Obv I am in the right side of variance right now, but I think I can have a +10bbev/100 on these games.

At the end of the session today I was playing really well, felt really good to know that after some rough times in poker. I quit for now cause I wasn´t feeling it tbh, when I am winning a bunch i seem to not want to grind so much, anyone else experiences the same?

H1: I think this hand would make a great 3barrel, blocking str8´s 2p´s/sets. Checking back doesnt seem all that atractive to me, unfortunatelly he had the nuts prob.

Damn these all look fine to me.

Don't think he has to be capped in H4 but sizing is fine too.

Tried to play some zoom in the afternoon but it felt really weird after grinding the reg tables. Felling so much better in the regular tables, knowing what ur opponents are up to is so important.

Decided to fire a little 4 tabling sesh of 25nl after the good day just to get the hang of things. It seemed a little bit "tougher" than 16nl, the regs looked to be a bit better and not as many fish, but it´s still very reasonable for me. Going to mix some 25 the next days and see what happens. Grinding it on the weekend sounds good.

H4: contemplated checking back turn, but this hand is good enough for 3 streets + protection, think it´s the best decision. Hate getting raised in these spots, but gotta make the folds vs min raise (he said in chat he had 88)





H5: weird spot vs a reg. Could 1/3 pot flop, but delayed bets seem to work quite well and I think I can get a decent amount of free cards. Betting turn is w/e, could have bet river, but think it should be fine, will get a lot of broadway flods. His river range seems strong enough for me not to mess with, but maybe should have bluffed with the bottom of my range.

Hey everyone. Been playing some 25nl since thursday and doing well, although I have only put 3k hands in. Right now I am not so satisfied about my game and lack motivation to grind much, but that´s fine, now that I have some hands to review and try to improve my play.
Yesterday I played quite poorly, made some costly mistakes but still managed to profit a little. Today my play was a lot better, though there were some spots where I didnt like my play afterwards.

H4: Biggest loss, vs nitty fish. Not so sure here, but check back is probably +ev than betting.





H5: here is a weird one. Standard untill river where I decide to make an exploitative lead, because I am not sure he will value bet thin enough. I kinda like my play tbh. ez fold vs shove
