The idea is about to make grow this small BR (1500$) and still be able to cover my monthly expenses, mainly survive. xD

Actually i'm playing Spins 5$ on Pokerstars under the nickname "ICoM3ToW1N23".

I've played around 2500 but i just have tracked 1300, anyway i was even when i installed Holdem Manager then i will just count theses for the challenge.

The idea is to play +100 Spins a day and 2 days off a month, actually is not beeing easy cause i'm just playing 2 tables, plus that in my home the electricity goes off for hours.... (Today, right now, 4 hours no electricity...)

As u can see my situation is great! XDD

How is your cev so far? Have you looked into ev pools? One seems kind of mandatory in your situation

post a graph in chips won, not $
all in ev is not a good metric in spins because it depends on the multipliers you get
you want to look at how your ev chips won per game to estimate your ev roi

One question that comes to my mind... a friend calculated Roi's and he recomened me to play Spins but he didn't know my Cev.

I don't know how to check in hem, but it should be possible to view the graph in chips instead of $. Then show all in adjusted to get ev chips won and divide by # of tournaments to get chip ev/tournament.

(ev winrate * 1-rake * 3) - 1
ev roi is (((500+cev) / 1500 ) * 0.93 * 3) -1

about 1% of your roi will go to the top 3 multipliers so you can subtract between 0 and 1% if u don't want to include all of your jackpot equity in your roi

So 75 chipev is about 35 cents a game or a little over $5/hr 2 tabling.

There are other pools also. Players pool their results from spins and take their ev from the pool. It can massively lower your variance.

Hi! (not sure there's someone reading xD) anyway i'll keep updating.

I'm studying different spots where i thought i did mistakes and not at all, the mistakes that actually i'm doing are about limp instead raise in some spots on Sb, raise instead limp..... Range preflop are good and my game postflop seems good as well.

Honestly i'm starting to feel depressed for first time in my whole life and the results doesn't helps. xDD

Be playing and loosing against people that doesn't even know the rules......

Actually i'm having high fever for last 2 days, trying to play on saturday but it was hard, i was able to play just 20 Spins.

Hi! The things are going a bit better but not as i expected, i got some buy ins back but then lost them again, basically i still even in around 3k Spins.....

Still checking the most important hands but there are no huge mistakes.

I started to play 3 tables and that help me to not be 10h a day in front of computer, actually i'm playing 6-7h a day, i would love to play 10 hours as well but i feel a big diference from 2 to 3 tables, 7h is all what i can do.

Actually i'm seeing more 5% and 10% coming as a bad bet than in my last years playing Poker. xDDD

I'm trying to not make a cashout but i will need in less than a week.

Actually i had to stop the session because i literally started to cry..... xDD

The thing is, im not a Spin 5$ player, i have good results on 10 and 20's for just 10k Spins, i have good results on Mtt's average 20$ on different sites for more than 30kmtts.... i also was playing on live cash for years with also not bad results...... I'm not the best player, of course not but i can say my level is over 5$Spins xD.

Actually i have no option, no bankroll and i can't make even 10****ing dollar playing around 7h a day, WHY? Well, honestly i'm seeing more bad bets than never before, something unreal, i'm literally loosing every single hand, mostly on the HU i'm 5:1 on chips but every single time the bad bets comes and then i loose the HU, it's been so cruel........

Obiously my situation doesn't helps but every day i grind and grind, no matter what but the constantly bad luck, today for example, let me crying..... and i'm 36 years old.

Month ago i decided to open this thread trying to find a bit motivation to still playing Spin&Go on Pokerstars.com, motivation cause it was beeing a nightmare, a nightmare that after another month still going on....

Never in 7 years playing poker i've seen something very strange as what is actually happening playing Spin&Go.

I'm playing all sesion against people that are going constantly allin at 5, 8, 12, 20% of equity and they are completing their equity very often wich is making me feel very frustrated and at the same time confusing.

I'm a very good worker, i always take the work very serious but actually i'm feeling how my "worker fellings" are dissapearing..... last 320hrs i've been playing on PS i haven't make any dollar profit and that's literally killing me.

I have recorded many sesions wich i send all of them to a players that actually are playing NL5k or 500$ Spin&Go.....

Their words:

- Player NL5k: "It's first time i have seen so many bad bets happening every single sesion and for many sesions", around 50 sesions it's a reason to think if this is rigged, i understand and i'm sorry for u....

- Player 500$SPin&Go: "Honestly is very strange that u are not winning at maximum possible ROI seeing the way u are playing and the constant presents that opponents are giving to u constantly, they are completing very often smalls % of equity, in my opinion u could be playing Spins&Go of 25$ with a pretty decent ROI and probably at 50$."


Actually i'm watching 25$ Spins and i'm sure that i could be winning playing this tables managing a pretty decent ROI, 5$ Spins are simply very easy, more that u can imagine but in my case there is no way to make any dollar profit.

I'm desesperated, literally desesperated, i was giving my best until last 3 days where i have tried to play but after loosing just 6 Spins in a row by bad bets makes me feel i'm not able to play. That's scary because actually i'm in bankrupt and is the only way i have to make money, last 72hrs i just have played 80 Spins when the main idea it's play around 130\day.


God, if u are reading this, u know i'm a good human beeing. xDD

S&G's are highly volatile, especially spin and goes, so the variance can be brutal, I've never enjoyed them. I see them as just gambling, not poker but I'm sure others would disagree. If you are running under EV and better players agree then all you can do is play through it, knowing it's variance. All you can do is work on your mental game and try to ride it out. It's difficult and I struggle with it myself at times, currently going through a rough patch. I've reduced my volume and started studying more to supplement the free time. I could play through it but it's also a good opportunity to do something else and clear your head.

Once bad beats (or what we perceive as being unlucky) start to accumulate over a period of time, even a small one at the beginning of a fresh session can quickly overwhelm your mind at the start of a session, causing you to play sub-optimally. At that point you need to walk away. If poker is your only source of income then you need to come up with a better strategy for coping with this sort of thing. I'm fortunate, poker is just a hobby I take seriously, so if I get annoyed I can stop playing for a bit. If it's your bread and butter then you should be taking the mental game just as seriously as your actual game.
