I started playing online poker 1 year ago, been a winning player in the home games, but a losing player online. I have lost my bankroll numerous times due to bad bankroll management and tilting it all away. Now I have $15.72 in my account and will start from here.
I am a beginner. I do not consider myself a good player, not even mediocre, I consider myself a pretty bad player, that's why I lost so much money until now. Well, I want things to change. I want to learn, I want to improve, because once I do that, I know I can make money. So this will be a new beginning.
For a start I will be playing cash games, NL2.
The most important rule:
I need 50 BI to advance to a new level.
I now that right now I am significantly under-rolled, but I will deposit next week around $50(yes I will be under-rolled then as well, but that's all i can afford right now)
My Education:
i want my education to be a constant one, thus i will be reading books and threads on this forum in an effort to improve my game. Until next week, Sunday, I plan on finishing Phil Gordon's Little Green Book.
I also plan on posting hand histories once i learn how to do that properly.
After every session, I will post the session.
I need your help right now, so please help me become a winning player.
you guys are forgetting one thing: i didn't mention the time frame. i didn't say i want to achieve it in 1 year, i know that's not possible, but 7 years for example is doable...
Hey anything is possible, and its good to have goals.
I think that anyone with average or above average intellect can become a winning poker player if they are willing to learn. I'm a pretty firm believer in talent/innate ability's importance being exaggerated and hard work/practice paying off.
The funny thing is although you almost certainly won't meet your goal you probably could if you worked your ass off. Very few people are willing to work that hard though.

We all wana be poker-made millionaires. You can be one if you work work work work for many years. I dunno about $15 - mil but.. Don't give up hope. Try to be more realistic.
