13...mostly recognized as an unlucky number. Hopefully not in my case... 13$ - this is all I have on my FTP account...

Been playing poker for a while...offline, together with my friends and a six-pack of beer Total of ~20 games. Quite an experience, huh?

So, one night, we sit down for our usual Saturday night poker game. That night i felt that the goddess of luck Fortuna was smiling at me with her big-ass Roman smile. - something like this. So I finished on 1st place. Even got some of my friends very angry with my comments, that went like "How can a noob like me beat four guys who play poker for a living? Ha Ha Ha.." etc.

So one of them says "I bet twenty that You would not last more than 10 games online before You go broke, punk!"

I said "OK!"...

So all I have to do is to play 10 games minimum with my 13$ bankroll (one of my friends transfered this money to me for this purpose) and "stay alive" leaving myself with 5 buy-ins minimum. Sounds easy, huh?

So tonight is the night when I crush my friends dreams about those 20 bucks :evil smile:

Here are the conditions on which we agreed:
Game type: Regular 9 players Sit'n'Go (Full Tilt Poker)
Bankroll: 13$
Buy-in: 1.2$
Completion requirements: 10 games minimum. Can not lose more than 5 buy-ins
Start time: ~7 hours (when I get home from work)

While at work, I thought i could do some research on "How to play poker the right way" - preflop chart was a nice thing to find... I think my friend is screwed.

Some advice, obviously your bankroll is small soooo... don't run bad .. lol.
Other than that , online is quite abit different then your average house game. Don't try any silly bluffs, I'd actually reccomend avoiding bluffing completely if you're not comfortable.

Goodluck though, win that bet.

Hey!

So I had this money left from my yesterday's challenge, so I've decided to try out some cash games too, since I'm playing online. Somehow I've even managed not to loose all the money in first 10 minutes And you know what? I'm starting to like playing poker online...

So here is the graph...



So I might as well start a new challenge:

Main goals:
1) Not to loose everything
2) To move up, if not down of course
3) Maybe start reading/learning something, watch some videos (Any advice on this? What to read and what to watch?)
4) More to come...

I hope I will manage to reach a 20$ mark, and if I do that...You will hear from me again

Sick profit! But seriously the micro cash game forum here has tonnes of material to help you crush the micros. Its really not too hard, you can just wait for the nuts and you can usually find someone to call you with 2nd pair lol. Well thats abit of an exageration but it is pretty easy since lots of people over value there hands and are almost giving money away.
