25nl attempt so far

Pretty much break even
Agg%: 43
Flop Cbet: 67
Turn Cbet: 40

Red line seems to have periods of break even stretches then big dips

I honestly find that $10nl graph a little odd when i compare it to mine at the same tables.

My red line is pants but my showdown line and win rate are much higher.

I think we will have to have another chat mate , if we could merge the good bits from both styles we would be on to a winner !

How were u playing for the first 7k hands? Fairly flat redline and ascending blue line def makes for a nice green line....

Well is it not just a conflict in style?

I would say you prob play more straight forward post flop and dont bluff as much and arent as over-aggressive with flush or straight draws. Thus when you get to a showdown you are strong and winning the majority of the time cos you have folded your weak to mediocre hands.

I was prob "playing" a bit more post-flop with more bluffing, getting over aggressive with flush and straight draws and prob guilty of not folding mediocre hands like 10-10 JJ QQ enough post flop. Thus I win a lot more hands at non-showdown from fold equity but when I do get to showdown it is more often with missed draws or bluffs or a mediocre holding and i dont win the showdown as often.

I think because it was only 7k hands it was more of a case of good variance than any particular style working but for what its worth here at the stats:

Well the latest update is my contract is not getting renewed at work, which is bit of a joke to be honest, but means I am finishing there end of March. So I should certainly have some more time on my hands to play and study whilst I find something else.

Don't waste your time looking at redline man, this is a bad habit to get in to as the majority of the best FR regs have super negative non sd. Focus on playing good and playing a style that suits you (obv hopefully a winning style!) and on that green line!! As long as the green is up then don't give a **** about the red or the blue. Gl

Felt there was every chance villain held: AA - KK - AK

Stack sizes were nice for this hand and played a big part in me calling the 3bet as hitting a set could work out quite profitable.

Could anyone find a fold here ?

That river is the nut worst card for KK and what is Dev shoving here with apart from AA or 77 ?

No way would Dev shove this deep with AK.

Horrible spot for KK .. i would hate life knowing this was probably AA but id probably still call.

Not played much recently. Decided there wasent much point in just getting through 1000s of hands at BE. Feel my time is better invested in learning right now with some play mixed in. Been watching some video courses complete with taking notes and spending more time reading my current poker books.

Moving forward I want to get my VPIP lower, nearer 14-16 as I want to play tighter and also lower my 3bet slightly.

I think your post flop confidence should determine your preflop opening range.

Which video courses ?

I feel right now that I am playing too many marginal spots that are prob BE at best and Im paying extra in rake to play these hands and not to mention getting into trouble spots.

My Button and CO win rates are poor and I feel playing too many hands and 3 betting too often from here is causing me problems.

So Im gonna cut back and play a tighter stronger range for a while. Then as you say when win rate and confidence increases I can add in more hands.

And I seriously need to learn to fold QQ more often, I feel as if I lose every hand with QQ you just know that villain turn raise is coming.

Posting this one for entertainment value. This was the first hand on a fresh table. Dont know if this happens for everyone but when I open a new table it sometimes takes Holdem Manager a few hands to get its arse in gear and place the HUD stats above the correct player.

During this hand the HUD stats were not at the correct players they were all a few places out of sync, except I didnt notice this during a busy mid session and raised the turn thinking I was playing against at 70 VPIP Fish with AGG F: 20

Turns out I was actually up against a TAG REG 14/12. Thanks for this one Holdem Manager

I stack tables in two places ... one for all new tables i sit down on ..

If the table is good and i do not have a maniac on my left then ill use a hotkey to move it onto the next monitor and stack them there .. when they go into the 2nd stack they are automatically made bigger so i have no issues with HUD space.

Hand #4

I do not like playing for stacks with JJ but I thought that by shoving here against a player with a 34% VPIP there was a good chance of him calling with AK, AQ, AJ, A10 and Pocket Pairs. Obv we have a bit of history by this point so thought he might call wider.

It hindsight it seems like a stupid tilted move.
