Vs 16/11 Reg with a 4Bet range of 2.3

When villain 4bets to 10bb I figure he is on AA or KK and doesnt want to blow me out the pot. But at the same time he offers me the chance to see a flop for an extra 4bb.

When he bets the flop big it confirms my thoughts about his hand strength.

Had a real stinker of a day at the tables on Fri, went to bed nearly in tears.

Was determined to make up for things Sat night so I put a proper shift in to get things back on track. Winrate isnt looking so great anymore after the recent downswing but onwards and upwards.

Weekly grind over. Bit of a rollercoaster, but suppose it always is.

    Last week:

Which means our 25NL attempt now looks like this:

Up 29 BIs $729 in 42k hands, by position:

Which means our bankroll looks like this:

$1454 plus we have a $50 stellar reward almost ready to cash which takes us to $1500 and we have around $400 in FPPs that I am saving for a rainy day. Genuinely lost count of how many attempts I had at 25NL but got there in the end.

Guessing you have worked out by now that we are rolled for 50NL. Lets try and hit 100NL before the end of year.

Thanks to all subscribers for your support and input this far and also to the other 2+2ers who have commented on hand histories in the main forum.

    Thanks guys.

    1st Session at 50NL.

Didnt start well to be honest. Felt as if the regs were tryna get me off every pot by triple barrelling. Got done by 2pair over 2pair twice. After that settled down a bit and moved up 2 BIs. Then this hand come along:

We dont have many stats on the new villains so reads are difficult right now, but looks as if Ive played this guy before as we had 500 hands on him. Villain is a 17/15 3bet 5% and a squeeze of 14 which is very high. I considered flatting the original squeeze but then felt I shouldnt play so scared and should try get to value although you will know what I am fearing here given that stacks are Deep.

When we get re-raised PF I am fearing he has it but also consider he may have AK or QQ.

When the flop arrives I dont see how we can get away from this with an over pair and second nut flush draw. I figure he will shove most hands here and kinda hoping he has AK or QQ with the club.

First day at 50 did not go well. Got hit by a good few coolers.

Finished the day down 2 BIs.

Here is a sickener. I timebanked to the last millisecond contemplating this.

BB is a reg other villain in MP was a fish I think.

When the fish shoves all in on the turn its 35% to call and we are 19% to hit the flush so we are priced out. But factor in the other villain may call here it would give us the odds to call.

Wanted to call but perhaps playing a little tight having just moved up.

          Is he ever bluffing? No.

When he shoves, the pot odds are 18%

Does he ever have AK here? I think yes.

Plus are we not more exploitable in future if we do fold here?

Had I not bet the river I could get away from a shove but after I have bet I dont know.

If I knew the villain better I could have made a disciplined fold.

On a positive note I paid 18% to make sure he didnt have the AK and I also got some important meta-game details about his play by seeing his hand which is now saved in my notes.

If the situation was reversed here is this villain gonna avoid losing his whole stack on this hand? I doubt it. So we will get our money back in time from coolers.

I was watching a video by Jungleman earlier (which I agree with) where he says that most mistakes arent made in the big cooler pots. Most mistakes are made in the smaller pots which is where we can look to gain an edge and eploit the regs.

Both hands vs the same villain, 15/11 reg

Villain had a lost a few smaller pots prior to this that I had bullied him out of and I figured he was starting to tilt and trying to stand up to me. I figured he had hit the Q and was probably thinking my range contained a lot of bluffs., which is why I bet 3 streets. I done some time banking for added drama.

                  Some hand historys,

I know we are supposed to put villains on a range, but here I felt I was against AKo and TT. I thought the squeezer was likely on AKo.

^Got the hands right but the villains had the opposite hands from the way I expected there. Thought the shove would have been from AKo.

Only had 125 hands on this guy, 23/16 3bet 7. Already decided I was 6bet shoving after he 3bets me.

Here is some bad tilt play. Was telling Hap_Hazard about a few hands I screwed up, I am bound to get a lecture about this

Was feeling pretty tilted when I played this and villain was also annoying me. The villain who raises the flop is 23/17 with a CC of 15.

I flop 2 pair on a very wet board and felt there was no way I was giving 2 villains a free card to suck out. I had lost a load of hands where I flopped a set recently and villain Turn or Rivered the nuts. I had big hands happening elsewhere at this point too. I decided villains raising range would contain a lot of flush and straight draws as he called with a wide range, so I shoved.

In hindsight shoving on a board where the villain may already have the nut straight didnt seem so wise, especially as it is perfectly reasonable for him to have that with a cold call of 15, oh well learn the hard way.

Yeh Ill take responsibility for this hand but know that HEM2 played its part with its increasing number of crashes where all the tables go white. By the time I brought up Task Manager to kill HEM2, I had timed out and auto checked the flop for the following disaster to enrol. I know I deserve to be shot for the River call, I can barely look at it.

                                Vs 12/10 nit (9k hands)

                                Fold to 4bet 46%

What is he flatting a 4bet with here IP?

AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKo, AQs ???

We have KK, and two Js hit the board so what is his range now?

                                AA, QQ, AQs ??

I half pot the flop to get him to fold out weaker hands and have a chance of winning the pot. If I check I think it makes it very awkward to continue.

I think his Turn Gay bet is an attempt to make me spazz out. Was cheap to call so went along just to see his river play, maybe a small chance he checks behind with QQ, but by this point I am convinced he has AA.
