We've been getting hammered in the $16s. I was kinda stubborn moving down at br $150 but kept losing. Even ran poorly in some of the $8s I played. At one point today I had less than $100 in cashier. I was focused in the games but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bothered to be running so poorly in soft games. The $16s are the first stake where you can start winning a little money so running good and holding there would have been awesome to start. Here's all SNGs so far.
However, tonight, with a bankroll of around $100 I decided to shot the $11 Bounty HU Shootout. I kept expectations low but figured since it was a bounty ($5) I could maybe get a discount or win small if 1 or more HU matches went okay. An hour or so later...
I wound up shipping the tourney for $75 and won an additional $30 in bounties. Pretty helpful to double the bankroll from ~$100 to $200 while things were going quite poorly. Shoutout to 2+2er MothersMilk for telling me about the tourney and encouraging me to play it.

I rode my bike 5 days this week and hit my weekly goal of 100 miles for the first time in months. I wrecked and bruised my ribs badly in April and hadn't hit that weekly goal since that time. I have an annual goal of 4,000 miles and I crossed the halfway point this week. I'm 150 miles behind pace on the year but gonna push hard through the Texas heat and really push it during the fall to try and hit that goal.
Here's the ride that bumped me over 100 miles for the week.
Here's the annual progress.

In other news I've been working on music for all of my bands lately which feels great. I ordered a new guitar during the pandy and it took 6 months to have built but it showed up in Feb 2021. I hadn't had the chance to play it with my bands until today when my metal band, Expander, got together for our first rehearsal since Jan of 2020. The guitar is a GodCity Instruments Craftsman 2. It sounds so ****ing good and is the nicest guitar I've ever owned. It sounds and feels a lot better than my Gibson Les Paul. Meeting up with the band and turning on the amps to rehearse was already a treat but this new guitar made the experience doubly awesome.
