Short story, I been grinding on pokermaster for about half a year now and I ran 10k up to 100k and something, then got killed by bad EV at bigger stakes because of bad bankroll management, so now I'm starting all over again and made myself a challenge. I see that you lost most of your money on 4080, yeah... I guess if your familiar with the app environment 30 buyins is okish. 40 to 50 if your struggling a bit.
In which clubs do you play and what kind of deal do you have?
I had my challlenge there and wanted to start grinding again tomorrow after I finished moving now, then I saw your thread. Post some hands man if you feel the need to discuss things. Apps are so totally different from any other plattforms, so maybe I can help you out a bit.

Yeah I jumped up in stakes to quickly. Yeah the app is basically same as playing live poker it seems. Also more difficult multitabeling because you need pay attention to how they play and not so much their stats. I see so much wierd stuff.

My deal is a bit different from club to club. I play in 3 different clubs. One club I get 1% turnover back from losing sessions. One China vpn club i get nothing, but really soft games. And one more I get 1% turnover back from losing and winning sessions, about 40% rakeback. And 5% cashout fee to BTC and Neteller. I dont really want to post for all to see my clubs as I will be streming with just 1 or 2 min delay. Even though I dont think anyone would target me, it would still be in the back of my head. But I think they are common to most agents.

I have some clubs I been playing in where I feel comfortable for now as i have notes on fish etc.. but i might ask you later yeah got one club that only accepts players with Chinese IP, so need use VPN into china.i saw your thread.. pretty good reading. For sure I will follow it more. Ill start grinding tomorrow after breakfast... around 12-1 Euro time. Will post result and graph after my session...

I opened a Chinese app thread and got these pm's because they don't want more people to know about the apps, which I think makes sense. I'm not suggesting anything, just saying you may want to consider whether the thread overall would benefit or hurt your bottom line. gl

I mean, come on. This app thing is such a booming thing and still growing. In my opinion there's room enough and it's not a secret anymore since, I don't know, one and half years. Maybe my human side is batteling my egoistic capitalist side of my charakter but there's enough room. Sure it all comes down to good affiliates, and there are some who offer crap clubs, force you to play high and deposit much at first, but ***** there are some really good ones who care about the situation. China or asia itself should always have some people left who want to gamble :P

And baby baby it's still the same with poker. If you suck, improve your game

People stream it daily on Twitch, post youtube videos, rakeback websites offer chinese apps and there are softwares for it. It hasn't been a secret for months and it's still as soft as before and probably won't change anytime soon if the agents are smart.

yeah I can understand that people what to keep it a secret, but i think we are over that part now. Almost everyone i know knows about pokerapps. And there are plenty to spare for everyone i think. There are so many people in China that loooooves to gamble and the only way other than going to Macau or homegames are the apps. So I am not worried about my games. Also its a little of a special taste. Because you have to accept that there are colluders and lot of suspicious plays there. So I would always suggest starting out small. And this think is just gonna keep growing i think.

Then second part of my post. Day 1 of my grind. haha.. Very first hand i get dealt KK vs A9 on 9 high flop. lost.. hehe... i think runner runner flush it was...

Anyway I was a bit rusty and play a little bad (not used to play shortstack and pushed and called in some spots i maybe should not) then when I felt i was finally on a little roll there was a power outage and the power was out for 3 hours. LOL) fkn counrty side norway...

I will need to cheat on my set rules and also play 2/4 as there are very few 1/2 games.

Did not play after the power came back. I will start of fresh tomorrow and grind it back.

Update:

So after 7 days I'm up 4362 Yuan. Had a rough start and played a bit bad. Have adjusted my 8max playing style and also been playing some HU which have been rather successful. Will keep playing 1 table HU and 1 8 max table at the same time. It has been working well for me the 3 last days.

Still a long way to go, but it can be done. Try not to take it for granted, though, there's still plenty of fish out there!
