^thank you very much guys.

last 5-6 days have been very good, i made 2.6k (didnt play much tho). i played 100nl as well because i had a busy weed-end and wasnt in a A game mood very often. i will post a graph at the end of the month, it should be pretty sweet. idk if i'm gonna shot/play 500z, it's an annoying stake: every time the pool is good, it doesn't last because lots of 200z regs and reg tables regs jump in because its good. so the rec/fish ratio sucks all the time. tho the reg lineup often seems less strong than last year so we'll see idk. the alternative will be either starting tables at 400/600nl or buy a script if i'm a pussy. hopefully stars fix the script situation soon.

with yet another change to stars rake, things are not looking great for the future of online poker. i'm a uni dropout so i don't have a plan B yet. and i'm lazy working on one because poker is going great and i have descent loads of money. but i'm reading a lot of great books about businesses/managing money/how to have success and this kind of stuff. also i'm thinking about what i should study/do after poker. also i'm gonna buy real estate (apartment building) soon. tbh i'm not too worried about the future.

hands:

yea should have mentioned that villain is a meh reg that has no bluff whatsoever here. his only bluffs would be KTdd/KTss once in a blue moon but.. yea those are not bluffing anymore haha. so i was thinking it's always JJ, sometimes KT/44/AQ. maybe he cant even have JJ because of pre flop. i'm often wrong analyzing hh so maybe his line/sizing with 44 is still fine. tho i'm having a hard time understanding why playing 44 like this is good, i wouldn't mind explanations!

and let's say he's spewy or balance or competent... i'm still not calling the 1.5psb shove with a lot of combos that 44 beat? depends on villain i guess.

he can still do it with some JT combo's to balance 44 with.

also not all ppl squeeze AQo.

could shove a variety of combo draws on turn, some 4dXd wouldn't be too bad either, especially if you fold everything but sets

with this, wouldn't his equity vs our continuing range be pretty bad, seems like there are way more bluffs, weaker combo draws than value

I always thought it was bad to raise into a pfr on hands like AQx

i'm still learning so take what i say with a pinch of salt

it's not "bad", it's just that you have a range disadvantage, it doesn't mean you shouldn't have a raising range at all though, people nowadays are talking way too often in terms of absolute.. and I'm not sure why because sauce doesn't talk like that and everybody watch his vids

also don't think that 44 hand is terrible by villain, it's just a range disadvantage thing these days, while he has close to no bluff in his range and pretty much rep what he has, I guess it also depends on how villain view you, ie if you think you will be calling wider since most of us would be like "who the ***raises AQ4ss" when they have only 3 combos of sets and reduce combosof 2ps. and plus there tons of stations in the pool, I wouldn't be surprised if villain got looked up by as low as AT by some russian stations on the turn.

imo I guess people aren't raising this board enough, probably they shouldn't coz the range thing. so I guess folding everything except sets+ can't be that exploitative vs the reg population. Though personally I would just call down in villain's shoe most of the time vs a reg, maybe that's a leak.

                --

ty everyone for all the input, i always appreciate it.

i won't play poker today, i finished the month in great fashion yesterday and i'll be posting those results in next couple of days. i'm hitting Costco with my dad and sister this afternoon, then maybe one of the last snowboarding trip of the season (maybe not its raining right now lol). tonight i wasn't able to gather friends to do something so i'm probably gonna study poker.

i also wanted to talk a bit about the discipline turn i took this year. maybe it's not why i'm winning at high bb/100, but i'm fairly sure it helps at least a little. i used to get up between 10am and 11:30am, i would then eat/netflix/browse/gaming in no particular order for the next few hours. then poker, then at night id hang out with friends or see gf or eat/netflix/browse/gaming. i would work out from time to time and i would study poker once or twice a month (and by study i mean reviewing 2 hands)(and by reviewing 2 hands i mean look at my screen nodding my head, thinking.. yes this is wp). also i ate very bad things, all the time. as i mentioned a few times in the thread, i now have new habits and its been great. you do feel better and yo do like your life better. you'r also psyched for your poker future and for your life future. obvsly there is a lot of other benefits esp regarding good food/working out. will do a quick recap of how one of my day could look like even tho its been mentioned once or twice itt: get up between 7 and 8am, eat. read a book or study poker while i digest my food. go to gym. shower then study poker. play poker. my week nights: snowboard, soccer, hangout with gf, see family (friends sometimes), study poker, read (btw i read 2 books at all time, one novel and one non-novel). my week-end nights: see friends/family/gf. also i play video games from time to time during weekends! being a disciplined little bitch and working hard all week long make the week-ends fun things feel that much better i'd say. i still play 2 or often 3 poker sessions from friday to sunday, i workout as well and do apartment chores etc (i simply get up an hour or 2 later than usual).

the non-novel book can be about history/philosophy/economics etc but also about how to be successful in life/make money etc and psychology (also mental poker). i also watch poker and non poker podcasts sometimes.

you can pm me if you want to discuss a topic further!

                np guys.

so i had a couple of sessions where i ran really good at the end of march, that resulted in my second 10k month (pre rakeback)(EV) in a row!

200z was 87% of the volume. my 200z winrate wasnt crazy high because first i played descent volume to get to 10k and second i won (a bit) at all the other stakes i played:

                500z
                100z
                400nl
                200nl
                100nl

                results for the year:

                january : 3880
                february : 12 905
                march : 12 265

                total : 29 050$
                100k pace : 25 000$

this is close to 40k canadian hehe.

while it's quite nice to run good, i don't think i could reach 100k profit if i stay at 200nl. i was one of the bigger 2015 winners at 100z and there was like 2 months i barely made money. so tough times may be ahead, also there is a couple of months this year i will play less hands than february/march. but i'm focus on moving up so who knows what's gonna happen this year. i'm optimistic overall but 500z and 400nl+ are gonna be a big step, esp if i'm not a big winner at 200 (maybe i am, maybe i'm a small winner heating).
