ty everyone for all the input, i always appreciate it.
i won't play poker today, i finished the month in great fashion yesterday and i'll be posting those results in next couple of days. i'm hitting Costco with my dad and sister this afternoon, then maybe one of the last snowboarding trip of the season (maybe not its raining right now lol). tonight i wasn't able to gather friends to do something so i'm probably gonna study poker.
i also wanted to talk a bit about the discipline turn i took this year. maybe it's not why i'm winning at high bb/100, but i'm fairly sure it helps at least a little. i used to get up between 10am and 11:30am, i would then eat/netflix/browse/gaming in no particular order for the next few hours. then poker, then at night id hang out with friends or see gf or eat/netflix/browse/gaming. i would work out from time to time and i would study poker once or twice a month (and by study i mean reviewing 2 hands)(and by reviewing 2 hands i mean look at my screen nodding my head, thinking.. yes this is wp). also i ate very bad things, all the time. as i mentioned a few times in the thread, i now have new habits and its been great. you do feel better and yo do like your life better. you'r also psyched for your poker future and for your life future. obvsly there is a lot of other benefits esp regarding good food/working out. will do a quick recap of how one of my day could look like even tho its been mentioned once or twice itt: get up between 7 and 8am, eat. read a book or study poker while i digest my food. go to gym. shower then study poker. play poker. my week nights: snowboard, soccer, hangout with gf, see family (friends sometimes), study poker, read (btw i read 2 books at all time, one novel and one non-novel). my week-end nights: see friends/family/gf. also i play video games from time to time during weekends! being a disciplined little bitch and working hard all week long make the week-ends fun things feel that much better i'd say. i still play 2 or often 3 poker sessions from friday to sunday, i workout as well and do apartment chores etc (i simply get up an hour or 2 later than usual).
the non-novel book can be about history/philosophy/economics etc but also about how to be successful in life/make money etc and psychology (also mental poker). i also watch poker and non poker podcasts sometimes.
you can pm me if you want to discuss a topic further!
