I decided to make an attempt at a crazy volume week during the last days of january to get set to maybe chase supernova for the first time of my life for which i will need a decent enough roll to play higher.

I currently have a roll of just about $500 and recently moved from nl5 sixmax to fullring and started playing 24 tables. a little counterintuitive some may say as this leads to more autopilotting and 'nitting' up but i think at these stakes this is the best may to maximise my hourly before moving up.

my goal is to make at least platinum star (7500 VPPs) and hopefully get the pace bonus at 8333 VPPs. I currently have 4460 VPPs so i will have to play about 100k hands until the end of the month

(had my biggest volume day yet yesterday with 13k hands so it will be a crazy gind for sure)

first session done. played decent apart from maybe 40 min where i started autopiloting and playing suboptimally. realized it, took a break and booked a very nice win. guess when the break happened

Profit is the primary goal here tho. If I start slacking or auto piloting nonstop I ll probably quit. A break every 2k hands fixes that tho.

can you please tell me how the f-uck you keep your redline positive/breakeven @nl10 over so big sample, i have tried almost everything and im losing -10bb/100 cant do s-hit about that. im playin 6max

uhh i guess i just barrel more often and fight for pos that ppl are just not showing enough strength in. being the aggressor helps. at sixmax my redline was actually going up i could give u a couple useful links to strategy for redline improval that had a great impact on my thinking.

no real heater but i flopped sets,boats, straights quads and flushes nonstop

okay i didnt put in the 5k as i am really tired. for some random reason i woke up at 6 am today after falling asleew around 1am. which is like 4 h less sleep than usual. good thing is that i got up before 4 pm tho

anyways, really happy with my play but short on volume so gonna try and put in about 16k hands tomorrow to remain on pace.

What is the point of this? Play less hands and less tables and move up

point is that i make more doing this than playing less table while still keeping my winrate higher than it was when i played 6-9 tbls of sixmax. this challenge is one way to get motivation to grind up a nice bankroll and move up in february.

first bunch done for the day. looks like i was playig a bit too aggro at first (redlinemonkey?) then played solid for the rest. break. eat. repeat after that for another 5k hands but this time for real. hopefully more. my goal for today still is about 15-16k hands so we ll see
