Making this thread to track my progress. If you play 30 and under hypers on global say hello! Playing under the SN BuyADA(made awhile ago). I plan to play about 15-30 tourneys a day, 1-2 tables at a time. most volume will be at 15s. Personally feel as though variance has been punching me in the face, forcing myself to find out if that's actually the case or not. Happy to discuss specific hands/ hyper strategy so feel free to post.

Why are you only playing 1-2 ata time? How many do you think you can get off at once on global, what's the traffic like in these games? If you're gonna have any hope of making money in these games and overcoming the nasty swings/ variance that goes along with em you're gonna need to be putting in alot more volume. 20buyin downswings are nothing in these types of games, they can get alot worse than that. GL

I think I’ve seen you at my tables yesterday. Variance is a killer in the hypers but just got to power through them.

I'm only doing this for fun/ as a hobby. I play up to four tables at a time but generally only 1-2. The variance at these games is honestly hard to believe. Specifically in my last 300 games I feel like I've had the worst stretch of run bad I've ever experienced. That's partly the reason for this thread, to keep me focused on a larger goal rather than the short term. We'll see.

End of day update:




Unbelievable variance today, suppose it's just something I have to get used to. Probably only cashed 3/30 15s, won two or three 30s and bricked every 8. Winning day technically, but losing ROI wise uncertain(despite sharkscope #'s). Happy nonetheless, GL all!

Haha, it definitely feels that way sometimes. I like the aesthetic's of the software but there are certain things that really bother me. Most notably the lack of sufficient decision time. You have about 10 seconds to make a decision before you're auto sat out. Also their hand history functionality for tournaments needs massive improvement. Honestly I don't understand why companies don't just try and copy what stars does. They have the most user friendly/ enjoyable software.

Anyhow, end of day one update. Ended up playing 54 tournaments, ran awful at 15 and under but fortunate to lock up a few 30 wins. Could have been significantly better as I must have finished 3rd 15+ times but never going to complain on a winning day at these variant of poker:

Short day today, no graph as I’m on mobile. Road tripping across the US this weekend so won’t be able to get in any volume. Played about ten tournaments today, all 15’s, +$32.00. Brag: signed in to play short cash session from my hotel. Got kings first hand, bet all streets and jammed river on 1075J5r and got paid . Insta sat out. Beat: electrical issue with headlights, forced into a hotel for the night. -81.00.
