my name is Fabian, I'm 21y and from Germany. I play online since I am 16 but never reached the limits i wanted to. I was definitive to unseriouse about this:

- I played MTTs with too high BuyIns
- I cashed out as soons as i won an amount higher than 1k :-(
- I played too many tables at the same time
- I tilted too much

Now it's time too change this!
- I start with 100$ at the 3$ SNGs
- switch to 6$ SNGs at 350$
- switch to 11$ at 750$
- reviewing sessions with SNG wizard and posting hands for discussion
- posting graphs
- posting strategy thoughts
- I know the most of you will think "shut up you little... you will never reach 10k". I've chosen 10k since this is a roll i have never had before and there is no special timeframe for me to reach this.

I decided to start this Challenge to have a bit more selfcontrol. If there is someone who wants to join me pls contact me! (U2U coaching, discussions etc)

I wish you good luck as well. I am trying something similar, although I don't have an ending goal in mind yet. I've deposited $100 into PokerStars and am playing only SNGs or MTTs that are around $4-$6.

Yeah I'm looking to do the same thing, probably going to start on the 20th of may. what are you going to start with 9man?

I started my fist sessions yesterday and I'm speechless with amazement... How bad can somebody run? :-)
I decided to play the 2+0.25$ SNGs on FullTilt instead of the 3$ SNGs on Stars, but wonder if i did the right decision. (I get 27% rakeback on FT and wanted to keep my iron man on life)

I busted 8times! on the bubble with an 70/30 push... :-(
I will look for some key hands and post them in the STT forum later
I'm about to write a short strategy article about the 3handed play vs. pushes and will publish it over the weekend

I am kinda doing a similiar thing.
I'm a college student and during winter break I took my first deposit of 100$, turned it into 180$ over a short period of time.
Now finals are on and with spare time the last 3 days I turned it from $180 to $230(may not seem like much but thats about 5 hours total, so I definately will take that :P )

This summer I'll be working fulltime, but I also want to greatly improve my roll and move up.

I play the $3 sng's on stars.

If you can, find a site that isn't raking you more than 10% on each buyin.

Consider getting an account at a poker training site, Deuces Cracked has a 7 day free trial, you may want to see if that will fit your bill.

I haven't used Poker X Factor in a long time, but as I recall the videos were excellent. I am not familiar with the others though, so I can't give you a recommendation.

I started similar to what you are doing. I started with a $99 deposit in Bodog. Now I have several $K over several sites. Go for it!

Thanks for all your gl's! Im still on a kind of Downswing... :-( It's unbelievable how bad the players are at this level...

At least i got 30$ Rakeback. I will record a session 6tabling later this day and hope some of you could watch it :-)
