Lol "risking it all". Yeah if your networth is like <2k I can see how nl50 might make you feel that way.

If I´m not mistaken, ZKesic said on the first few pages he doesn´t like poker that much, he is (was?) a student, and the site he plays (or used to play) doesn´t offer 50z, only reg, so his hourly would be lower. His decision is perfectly understandable (not that he´d have any obligation to move up just because his readers want him to do it anyway ).

Nope still dumb! Like theres no other sites he could join that would have 50nlz?

Like they could be tougher and knock a couple of BB off his w/r but he would still make more

My cost of living is around 700€/month and I have multiple other sources of income as I've mentioned before, so I was able to save pretty much all of my poker winnings. My net worth right now is a bit over 30k.

Even if I did make slightly more, the variance would be way higher too, which I don't think is worth it.

For now, I'll maybe start playing some 50nl cash at times when the 20z pool is empty.

Why are you worried about variance when you have 6k buy-ins and a couple years of living saved? If you can get a better hourly at $50nl (which I bet you can), go do it!

Glad to hear you're gonna take a bit of a shot. Good luck!

The thing is you wouldn't be making slightly more you would make at the very least 50% more. The Current $30k you have made could be more like $45k over the same amount of hands which is a massive difference.

Please do add in some of the reg 50nl games I think you'll find they may even be softer than the games your currently playing so you won't be adding any variance

August 2020:

Bankroll is at 31.4k

A large bot farm was exposed this month in NVG: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...posed-1775516/

Turns out I've played 70k+ hands vs at least 4 of these bots. They all have the same stats and never play vs each other. I've studied their gameplay, so in the future I should be able to spot them pretty quickly and exploit them to the maximum.
This is their overall graph in my sample:
Spoiler:

I had birthday this month and went on a one-week vacation. Was pretty fun. I was planning a vacation for the next month too, but Croatia is on the COVID red list now, so it won't be happening.

H1: I actually intended to fold the turn vs a check/shove. How ******ed do you guys think that would be?
    $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

    SB: $15.97 (79.9 bb)
    BB: $48.98 (244.9 bb)
    CO: $20.10 (100.5 bb)
    Hero (BTN): $23.23 (116.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A A
CO folds, Hero raises to $0.50, SB folds, BB raises to $1.60, Hero raises to $4.40, BB calls $2.80

    Flop: ($8.90) K 4 Q (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($8.90) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.45, BB folds

    Spoiler:
    Results: $8.90 pot ($0.44 rake)
    Final Board: K 4 Q 3
BB mucked and lost (-$4.40 net)
    Hero mucked A A and won $8.46 ($4.06 net)

I plan to play at least 60k hands in september.

Not ******ed at all, 6 combos of sets vs 6 combos of AK which almost always lead the turn and never xr. You block diamond combo draws too.

    Bankroll is at 32.1k

I took some 50nl shots this month like some people recomended. 50nl cash definitely seems a lot softer than 20nlz. The regs seem way too tight and the fish are just absurd.

    My 50nl graph so far:

I'll focus on playing mainly 50nl from now on. Though, there aren't all that many 50nl+ cash tables running on my site, so I might move to GG or Bestpoker soon.

I don't know if I'd call myself good, but thanks

I'm playing at GG poker, Pokerstars and ipoker right now. You can get all the best RB deals for Slovenia here: http://si.pokerpro.cc/ponudba/

If you're a newer player or don't use HUD I'd advise GG poker to you, as the cash games are really soft. The rake is pretty high, though (they even take it preflop).
PokerStars on the other hand has the best software and most players, but is probably the hardest to beat (no RB). PartyPoker and ipoker are somewhere in between.

You should take advantage of the first deposit bonuses and jump around the sites a bit. That's what I do all the time - I've played at 29 different sites lifetime.

Have fun and enjoy the quarantine

Thanks for the site, and yes i enjoy so much this quarantine cause i want to start to play poker.
Slovenia is nice for this beautiful landscape and mountains, but in the same time for the large amount of poker rooms(i come from a country where i had only starts, 888 and unibet), and to not talk about stupid papers to fill for state.
Thats why i try to get in touch with slovenian players to see what are my best choices to start playing. If you have some other tips for me, i am glad to listen and i hope i dont disturb your topic.
            Hvala za odgovor, Celje tukaj.

            Bankroll is at 32.6k

The graph is in BB because I played a mix of 20nl and 50nl. I've been trying to maintain the 1000+ hands/hr volume in cash games but it's pretty hard. I've decided to cap it at ~800hands/hr from now on (10-12 tables). This way it's easier to focus and the sessions will be longer.

I've also started playing some HU sngs for fun. They won't count towards this challenge, though.

In terms of bankroll management, I really like your chances of becoming the dumbest winning player of all time.

Seriously though, why would you want to keep such a massive bankroll with all the risk associated with that if all you need is maybe $3,000 or so online?

Yeah, I cash out my winnings every month. Two of my accounts actually got banned in the past for no good reason, so I'm pretty careful about keeping a lot of money online.

Also, just because I have a ~30k roll, it doesn't mean that I'm actually willing to risk losing 30k. That's why I'm not playing 500nl or w/e .

                    November 2020:

I ran really bad at 50nl this month, so I ended the month at pretty much break even.

People have asked me to record a bit, so I'll post my last session of the month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAgOu9Ib1qw
The session was nothing special. I played on the tighter side to increase the volume. If anyone has any questions or advice, feel free to tell me. I'd like to improve.

                    Some hands:

In the 2nd hand aren't we blocking the hands that he will bet/fold turn with?

^ I think that he'll also bet/fold some 7x and 8x + we have pretty good equity vs his calling range. People tend to stab too much there in my experience and then overfold vs a raise.
