I've started this thread in order to document my journey towards $100k profit, playing only 20nl.

A bit about me:
- I'm From Slovenia
- 25 y/o
- Very handsome
- A student
- I go to the gym 3-4x per week
That's about it.

I've already spent most of 2018 playing 20nl, therefore the results from this year will be included into the challenge.

- I've been playing 1200-1400 hands/hr (fast poker)
- My hourly in 2018 has been around $20-25/hr

I'll be making updates once per month, till I achieve my goal.

- Don't ask about my strat

Why do you want to only play 20nl and not move up?

Most people my age make around $5-10 per hour in my country, so I'm more than happy with how much I'm making right now.
I play poker for fun, mainly as a hobby and am definitely not prepared to risk too much money on it.

Also, once I reach 100k profit, it'll definitely be a world record for 20nl, right?
This gives me some extra motivation.

At 5bb/100 it will take 10million hands.

Does rakeback normally not count?
Idk, no store in my town has ever told me that they don't accept RB money.

Anyways, it's at around 45-50% for me.

The main goal for 2019 is to play more hands and make more money than in 2018.

At the beginning of this year my volume will likely be very low (because of exams and other school stuff).

Depressing update:

I've just found out that my Rakeback in 2019 will be decreased from 45-50% to only around 10%. This sucks a lot.

Does anyone know some affiliates that I could contact in order to get a nice RB deal on another site?

Your volume is good and you can clearly win at your stake, lets see some plan to move up stakes. NL200 by end of the year? Just a thought GL.

I've said at the beginning of this thread that I won't be revealing the sites that I play on, so sorry about that. It was one of the only 2 rules
Also, I won't be revealing through PMs any info that I wouldn't in this thread. That's to the others that have been PMing me in the past about similar stuff.

I'm just going to say that it's no longer possible to get a RB deal that's anything close to the one I had on that site.
It also wasn't one of the softest sites anyway, so it's pretty pointless to play there in 2019.

Overall, I've played on exactly 24 different sites in my "career", so my options are getting a bit narrower at this point (+ the majority of poker sites aren't available in my country). Therefore, once I find a nice site to play on, I'm not too fond of revealing it and potentially inviting a bunch of regs into my pool (it's a -EV play for me).

Anyways, about your 2nd question: if you want to get a nice deal on a specific poker site, you should contact an affiliate before you create the account (best to contact multiple ones and compare offers/negotiate). There are definitely still sites that offer 40%+ RB out there. The higher that the RB is though, the worse fish:reg ratio usually is, the software is worse and less people play there on average, so you should be a bit careful about this.
I've been looking for the "perfect" poker site for a long time, and I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't exist. You just have to become decent at poker to make money.

About moving up... How am I going to break the $100.000 profit at 20nl record if I move up?

Yeah, I'll keep updating monthly till I reach 100k.
The volume in the first half of 2019 will be really low though (personal stuff/school). This month I barely played at all.

After June I'll start aiming at 100-150k hand months.
