Easier in wich way? What format do you think i should specialize in instead?
My logic was:
-
180s or mtts: more fish and less ICM so probably higher ROI, but more variance.
-
6 or 9 man sngs: higher reg/fish ratio, plus i think regs are better.
-
spins: 3 handed and no icm so easier to learn but also more solvable, wich means i would need to spend a lot of time to study and understand how gto works just to catch up with other regs. And even if i spend time doing it im not sure i can ever beat the guys that are playing higher stakes since it seems like a lot of them where former HU hyper regs and a big portion of hands in spins are HU. Moreover the random prize add tons of variance. I sometimes play 7s and im think im winning a bit but i dont think i can win higher.
-
HU: kinda like spins plus i think hourly are lower than in other formats anyway. You either have to wait for fish and have high ROI but play few games/hour, or sit other regs and have small ROI (if you can beat them
). I play some too and im loser in them. 95% of my games are against other regs and im getting crushed badly by some of them, they just seem too good for me.
I could definitely be wrong about those things so feel free to correct me.
My plan right now is to grind and study 18s then switch to 180s and mtts. Ill try to work on my HU game and understand gto better but not to grind HU or so, i just think it will help my game in general.
