FIRST THREAD - I'M NEW TO 2+2 BEAR WITH ME!

I'll try make this real short and simple.. I'm 18 years old, played poker since i was around 13 years old, absolutely obsessed. I've recently quit my apprenticeship/college to start my poker career seriously. I've started with $10 in my account less than a month ago and currently on $100. Playing micro-stakes MTTs, 180 mans, and mostly 2nl and some 5nl. I'm posting this because i hope to talk to like minded people as I have nobody who is interested in poker seriosuly and it's driving me mad!! In this thread? I'd like to just post how my grind is going, and make some poker friends would be great!!

I see there is still a lot of money to be made and is being made. I'm sure the boom will come back again when *eventually* pokerstars is running and playing worldwide in America again. And as determined as i'am I can't see me not being able to making a good living from poker. Just because you may not be able to make money doesn't mean others can not. 'lol'

just saw your post" failed in my dreams" lol...dude you're 18 and a kid. Probably haven't even lived on your own yet or paid for rent, food and the like. You know what a mortgage is?

I've got my degree, stable job, traveled the world. I can afford to blow money on poker and not have it affect me. How much do you have in your bank account? That $10 won't even buy you beer lol...not that you could drink it legally...kid.

Dude, get the **** out of this thread. Everyone has started somewhere, I hope he is like me and feeds of negativity from pessimists like you. A good example of a sicko player is Charlie Carrel who has come up after the poker boom, at the young age of 22 he is now a millionaire. Of course everyone canīt crush like him, but this goes to show that you shouldn't say that it is absolutely impossible like some bitter old bloke. Hard work will show results.

Haha, "poker is gambling". You are on the wrong forum bro, you are welcomed to join http://www.slotsforum.com/ instead. I really hope you are a troll, because if not, you must be very incapable of math aspects.
