I'm going to do a short thread here.

I play mid/high NL, HU and 6max.
After a break early this year, I've returned to tables only to run really bad (20k under EV just in May, 50 buy ins under last 400k hands)... but worse than that I've been playing really really bad.

Playing too many tables and different formats at the same time (HU and 6max), low motivation to play, poor range construction in game, not remember action in the middle of hand (resulting in lots of timeouts) has contributed to that.

The goal is from 03/06/2018 until 08/07/2017 to play my best in every spot and achieve high winrate. I know sample is too small but Ill see what I come up with.

Why such a short PGC? After 8th July I go on a vacation, and I've a track record of not updating threads too often. Ill try to update this one since it is only 1 month.

Lets do this, grind starts 3th of June couple hors from now.

Day1:

Rough day.



Played average, and run super bad again. Another 1.5k under but it didnt affect me. I actually laugh at how bad I am running both post and preflop all ins.

Played less tables this time, and more focus. Still can't get momentum going as soon as I build a stack I get coolered.

On another note, Im changing some things Preflop due to rake + oponnents type. I think it will pay off when I get used to this ranges, but as of now, I dont know the ranges by heart yet.
Once I start running better and mostly playing better which is what I can control, I feel that the heater will be epic. Stay tunned tomorrow is another day.. I feel like im in a war now

Day 2

Another joke of a day lol AA vs KK / AK vs AA and lost also two stacks when i floped the nuts in 3b pots. And another 2.5k under.
Oh well, it s actually funny. I might pull up a video with all these funny hand histories, the poker gods are not with me.
But despite all of this i still manage to win some monies today!!

Playing better but rivers still need improvement. Im feeling the heater coming.
Tomorrow another session and ill pull up some hands.

This week played a very long session (for me at least), about 8hours which run around a very laggy player. I love to play vs these types of recs, so it was a fun grind and ended up with big stacks.

As far as my play is concerned, I've been playing very good again at 6max on the bigger stakes. Average at lower stakes, but 80% of my volume is 1k so its ok.

HU is a different story where I've been playing and running insanely bad (doing post-analysis never seen a stretch where my WWSF and WSD were so low !). Last sessions were better, although can't pick up momentum as the amount of collers are legendary and me playing poorly.

Challenge so far both HU and 6m: 6k hands @ 4.5 ev bb/100. Disapointing, I want to try to reach at least 8 ev. I know its small sample, but im expecting a big heater soon.
Ill leave the HU tables as I can't deposit more atm due to having low limits. But as soon as my roll increases ill be back at it.

Challenge has to be postponed, theres not enough action at this site in higher stakes 6m which is disapointing after a promising first days.

I may be back after my vacaitons, finding a suitable site with good volume and back at it.

right now ill focus more on crypto (blood in the streets as i write this) if good action appears i still play but not waiting 24-7 anymore

to my surprise the games are pumping today, ive already deposit some monies to finally activate the boomswitch letts see if it works

barely won 2 stacks, which is not bad given how im running.

Flopping the nuts in 3b/4b pot deep, and by the river straight and flush got there. Story of my life on this **** site. I feel the poker gods dont want me to win. I wont stop bitching until I feel the heater coming.


- So today, I booked the win like a pussy and quit shortly after. Could've been much better though, and made two mistakes OTR. One I picked the wrong sizing (LOL GTO), other I nit folded bc of low time bank, and my brain couldnt really decide in game(still not playing A-game, but getting closer I feel).

- Ran some filters to analyse my game. Sample is too little, but losing more calling the 3b than if i had folded everytime (LOL). Rest of things look okay, but Im going to exploitably adjust some stats as I know these guys more and more. There are things that look good in theory but on the current meta suck.

On another note:

I feel that with the current state of the games, ANTE GAME should be the standard for every 6max line up. Punishes the bad regs, and def increases the action. Everyone is so nitty in every position now. Even myself, I used to play with Ante Ranges in soft games but full of regs I had to revert back to standard ranges. Makes the games so boring imo.

btw, thanks barney for calling my ****ty PGCs out! The site is pokerstars europe for those wondering. And if the games don't run with at least 2 tables, it is hard to make a decent thread as the game run with few entries (1 tabling zoom is the worst) and dont run 24/7 as i thought it would

played yesterday good level, roll increasing.

Just playing exclusively 6max now to focus more. and then i think i think ill attack de 1k hu games.
funny thing happened yesterday was trashtalking a reg and he accused me of having solver help lol funny guy, but the guy is really bad

on other note, i suspect a guy is actually running real time help HU. Plays only 1 table too slow, sizings/textures solver style.

Challenge is going really well, but still cant win a single flip. And still running like ****, particularly at higher stakes. Let the heater come

Challenge going well, crushing the past sessions.
But not playing much due to World Cup and other business ventures i have. Feels good not having pressure to score big months at poker, but Im not as hungry as I was and that might be bad

However theres not much action... I want to 2x my roll at 500/1k zoom 6m and ill likely move to exclusively HU then (only mixing 6max if i have no action HU, to concentrate). So plan is to continue to play 6m, 2x or 2.5x roll as kinda of a challenge and then likely HU will be my main focus
