Hand 158: Villain was 88/64 with 58% 3bet. He was raising to 8x every hand and 3betting even bigger but the size wasn't consistent. He potted the flop almost every hand but he didn't bet the turn every time. I had been making small bets on the turn to steal the pot from him but in this hand I think I should have bet a lot bigger since he probably isn't paying attention to my bet sizing and I am trying to get value from mostly overcards which will fold to a river bet.

I didn't think I would get folds by betting out. I raised because his bet looked so weak. If he bet bigger I would have just folded.

Can you explain more? I can't expect him to double barrel with a bluff or bet for thin value with a weaker Ax. I don't think he can think I'll call a 60% PSB with JJ on the river. A large part of my range is AQ so he can't really try to bluff me off of JJ and TT since I'll be calling so often. So to me it looks like he's almost always going to have AK.

Now that I think about it, this might be a great spot to float or raise the turn since he bets all his air on the turn.

dont rly like the triple barrel with 78cc. on a runout like this i think u ll get looked up a good amount. at this point i rly dont see him having many hands he ll end up folding but yea agreee the shove may be getting u even more calls cuz now hands like JJ QQ and AA are out of the eqution.

I'm not sure. It's probably best to just play a bit and figure out your own rates since it's so dependent on play style now.

What status are you by playing this many hands?
Gold/platinum? Or does that not figure into your goal?

I'm bronze now since I gave up on my volume goal

17 weeks

I've withdrawn the majority of my bankroll and I won't be updating this thread any more. It's been a very fun summer and now I'm looking forward to taking a bit of time off to relax and pursue other interests before school starts in 2 weeks. I'll start another PG&C thread then.

This is my best estimate of my results over the past 4 months:

Cash game winnings: $805.45
Tournament winnings: $1224.39
Rake Paid: $3793.79 - I probably have $500~800 worth of points from this
