LOL well played! If it ever stops raining I might be able to use it. I think we are going on 2 weeks in a row of rain... I'm ready to shoot myself.

Will be posting more pics of the latest project tomorrow. Phone is charging and too lazy to get it to download the pics. LOL

Just did a quick 100 hand session. Got AA all in preflop and they held. Things are looking up... I almost folded them preflop because I know that is what I should do.

Wish I could put some more time in tonight but I'm exhausted and need to get to bed.

Sorry I zoned out there for a min. Man I hope I didn't just hack my family up with an axe

Tomorrow I plan on doing an update on where I am with my hands and BR I haven't played much so I will just put my totals from the last update... which is well over a 1 week. I can't wait to see this graph. I think it will actually be going up this time.

Not finding any motivation to work this morning so I thought I would post a few pics of my latest project on the old farm house. Have about 20 days left before we move in... time is flying. This is the sons room. Coming back from college and moving back in while he works on his Masters. Better keep this room clean... so I only did the floor in this room at this time. Needs a paint job and molding put back in place but for the most part the room is done. On to the next room.

Ok so clearly I haven't had any time to work on this challenge but I thought I would update the challenge. I'm going to call this week 10 even though its about 3 weeks of poker. LOL I'm just going to go from the last update to yesterdays date. Nice to see I've gotten a little over 3 buy-ins back from the past update.

Week 10: (4/19-5/5)
Hands Played: 1,141 (Total: 51,579) (Wow putting in the time!)
Money Won/Lost: $6.43
Current BR: $54.28

Have some guys coming today to do some work on the bathroom so I stayed the night at the new place. Slept on the coach... if that's what you call it... I'm exhausted. Probably stayed up too late playing poker.

Wasn't running that well until I shut down all but 2 tables. So for 1/2 the night I was only playing 2 tables. Played a lot of hours but not a lot of hands but that's ok because I was able to dig myself out of a hole.

I now have a new nickname "Puzzyboy" I think I was called this about 250 times last night. Villain gets on and makes some comment about let the lessons begin. So I "joked" with the guy when I caught a flush on the river about lesson 1 being "always chase flush draws." Well I guess he didn't find my joke funny and we proceeded to go at each other on and off all night. He wanted to play me HU but I declined. Reason being... and I told him this... I suck at HU so why would I play it. I guess honesty wasn't enough so I became Puzzyboy the rest of the night. LOL It was fun bantering with the guy... I actually started feeling bad after awhile... he must have been down at least 6 buy-ins. It was a little comical when everyone at the table stuck around and was up well over 100bb while he was always below 100bb. I think I left the table with 500 or 600bb. Oh well it was a good time at his expense besides it was only .01/.02 short stack.

Ok I need to get some work done so here are the stats. Up a buy-in but I'm happy with this because I was down almost 2 buy-ins twice last night.

Stayed at the farm house again last night and thought I was going to get another decent session in. That was until I found myself actually falling asleep between hands. Thought it might be a good idea to call it a night.

My buddy from the other night who was calling me Puzzyboy got on the table and we made up. LOL Told me he was down about $8.00 after I left the table the other night and he managed to end the night up $6.00 playing (4) tables. Glad to make amends as the guy really wasn't an a-hole like others I've run into at the table. Who knew there could be so much drama.

Anyways not much exciting happen last night... I was up... I was down... and basically finished even for the night. At least I got a few hands in and hopefully earned some Rakeback.

Just thought I would share my current thought... Nothing is more upsetting than sitting down to play... looking forward to playing some poker only to get it stuck in your @ss over and over. AA vs 97o... play the hand like I should only to have the idiot catch a str8 by the river... Next hand AK vs AQ clearly AK isn't good. This all happens in with-in 10 min. So I'm pretty pissed... so I have to stop playing now (when I still want to playe) before I start spewing money... So much for looking forward to playing poker. I guess I'll take a 30 min. break and try again. WTF I don't even care if I break even but I'm down a full buy-in right off the bat, with good hands...GD it

Frustrated.

Well I'm back to say I'm on another time out. I literally just sat down after my first 30 min. break and this is the hand I get.

I have AKs.

BTN raises... I re-raise BB calls and BTN folds

Flop QTK rainbow... I bet BB calls
Turn 6 I bet BB calls
River is a 4 I check he shoves I call he has K4s.

Are you f&cking kidding me with this sh&t.

I know I sound like a little ***** but wtf. I know this is poker... I know this is variance... I know this is what we want villain to be playing... I know all this BS but what good is it when it happens over and over all in the same nite. How??? is it because I really want to play tonight and it's tempting me to just blow my f&cking BR? I just can't believe this sh&t.

Oh lets not forget this @ss hole and the @ss hole from the 1st hand in my previous post both ran their mouth and left the table... F&cking hit and run.

not that it matters on this hand because I shut all my tables down. Ok going to try this one more f&cking time after I cool off. I swear to f&ck I'm going to lose my sh&t if this happens a 3rd time.

Bad enough all I want to do is play and it's getting late.

God I'm a f&cking c&nt... and all I do is cry.

Hey Jae_cubed
I’ve been reading your posts since you started this thread. All I can say is I feel your pain. I’ve been wanting to write something, but I spend so much time playing poker I’m to tired to write. I play the same 2NL on ACR/BCP. However I only have a few hands played with you. So unfortunately I don’t have much feedback on your game. Quite frankly not sure if I could even help. I’m losing at the game. I’ll post my overall results below. I just wanted you to know your not the only one facing these downswings and getting beat up by these players.
Playing this 2NL is frustrating. When I’m running good it seems like beating the game is easy (duh), but when getting faced with 4 bets by these loose players and getting beat is so f’d up. Not to mention that it seems like no matter what hand you have, someone always connects their hand. Rarely does anyone not have it. I’m hitting the 100K hand mark and I’ve lost about +70buyins. Unfortunately I don’t have all my hands to show the full graph cause my computer crashed and I had reset my computer to it’s original state and didn’t have the patience to backup my PT4. Quite frankly since I was losing I didn’t care to keep the stats. One thing that really bothers me is that leaktracker on PT4 has all my stats has green with no leaks based on my stats. WTF! OBV there are some major leaks!
Anyway I just wanted you to hear my story in hopes that you don’t give up on your goal and keep posting. Remember this, not all the 2NL regs are winning players. My PT4 stats show there are only about 8 regs that win on a regular basis. I’m sure there are a few more but this is only based on my findings. FYI I started my 2NL journey on April 5th and before that I was playing SNG’s with a %5 ROI.
I apologize for some reason I can't attach my graph.

Thanks for the kind words sir. I'm a pretty emotional (hot headed) person when things go badly. I think that is very clear if you have been reading this from the beginning. Part of me doesn't want to post when I'm like that because I know how ridiculous I sound and I know I come across as a bit of a cry baby. But I think the reason I do write the post is
1. Clearly to vent/cry/b&tch.
2. I want to keep things as real and real-time as possible.

Problem is now when I'm over it I realize I sound like a maniac. LOL If I could just win every time I play then I wouldn't have to have posts like that.

So my last 3 post you can tell I was out of my mind... LOL In all fairness I was taking some REAL brutal beats and I literally could not win a single hand on my last session. Because of this night along with the fact that I've been really busy again I haven't played. I needed time away. I look back at that night and I feel like I was being bullied. LOL I can laugh about it now but if I jump on the table and it starts all over again I can tell you I wouldn't be laughing. Easier to say now but it is what it is. I have a few things I'm going to work on and try when I play again... I think #1 is to remember this is a quantity challenge... and ultimately that just means I need to basically stay even and not go bust-o to reach 1 million hands. I think I've lost track of that "again" and I've been thinking more in terms of wanting to win $. I want to prove I'm an OK player I want to prove I can beat others at the game... sadly it's an ego thing.

You brought up some good points and I must just think there are more winning players out there. I guess if you read the forms it feels like "everyone" is a winning player and "winning" big. Clearly not those who post they are losing and need help but those who offer help and such... I'm not fooling myself that I will ever be anything other than what I am... with that said I would like to become a little better than I am. I have no desire or false dreams of ever being a pro. I make way too much money doing what I do even think I would want that lifestyle. I just want to be better than average.

I love your thoughts on how when you are winning the game is easy. If you go way back in the beginning I was actually trying to figure a way on how I was going to move up to the next level. I was running so well that I was just about ready to move up. Now look at me... I can't string any kind of winning at all. When I win it's little... when I lose it several buy-ins. So I can play all week and be up 6-8 buy-ins and all it takes is 1 1/2 hours and I give it all back. That part is super frustrating.

Which leads me to another point of yours. Leaks! I clearly have some major leaks. Yes I'm unlucky... yes there must be variance but YES I must have several leaks. Right now I just don't have the time to put into poker to try figure them out and study and review... I'm lucky if I can even play poker at this point. So these leaks aren't going to get fixed until I pin point them and work on them. But that's part of the game I guess. You get what you put into it. LOL

Again thanks for writing... it was good to be able to "chat" with someone who can feel my pain. LOL

After thought... something I think is a leak... again I haven't looked up my stats but I honestly feel that I lose realistically... 75% of my 2 pair hands. I don't understand how 1 pair can usually win a hand... so why wouldn't 2 pair be even better? The only thing I can think is that if I'm playing say premium hands and the board hits me for 2 pr I'm going to get beat by str8? Maybe flushes or full houses... IDK like I said I would need to research my stats on this but I am amazed at how often I lose with 2 pr.

So pre flop we fold AA and by river if we have 2 pr. we fold. I'm getting this mother f&cking game figured out!

(look out here comes the doom switch) Feeling pretty good but, I won't be happy until i'm beating the game. I gotta long way to go to get back to even. I think I only need to win about 61 buy-ins.
On a side note you were at one of the tables I was playing on. You were in 2 pots against me. Luckily you folded both times.

I didn't realize I was playing you but I remember that second hand. I caught middle pair on the flop and improved to a flush draw on the Turn. Blanked on the River and had to fold when you bet the River. LOL Glad I folded.

I was winning a little most of the night night but finished under at the very end. Your hand actually put me under even. LOL Probably why I remember this hand.

Anyways I was happy with tonight... I would have like to have finished up but I got some decent amount of hands in for me and I didn't lose 8 buy-ins.

Sounds like you crushed it tonight... Keep it up!

I played about 6hrs today got in 3.2K hands and won just under 3 buy-ins. Spent 4hrs on PT4 mining hands and trying to find exploitable tendencies from some of the other regs.

Well I hope your crushing it tonight, saw you doubled up at the table I was playing. GL and look forward to seeing your progress.

Played some last night but found myself falling asleep at the very end so I decided it was best to stop playing. LOL I was in no shape to update... as it was I don't even remember falling asleep.

So the night started off with a bang. I had to take a little break about 10 min. into the session after AA vs 53s (diamonds) obv. I should have folded pre-flop. Lost a full buy-in when the board ran 2d8cQd Turn was a 3c and River was 3s.
So yeah clearly 53s is a hand I should be playing more often.

Couple hands later I have 22 catch a set and bet, bet, bet and fold when villain shoves the river when the flush gets there. I don't know he has it but I was pretty sure.

BB special of 53s (oh look this is the same hand as villain had.. I wonder if it will play out for me like it did him). Basically we catch a str8 on the river but that river card also gave the villain a flush... so I guess 53s isn't a good hand? LOL

So yeah I decided to take a break and come back. I was down 2 buy-ins at this point but the 2nd half of the night went a little better. I still ended down for the night but I got some hands in and I got most of my money back.

JSpencer glad I folded that hand as well. I wasn't getting any hands at that table for awhile so I tried taking the blinds with KJo. Wasn't a good hand to call your 3-bet.

I did get you back with my AKs when I 3 bet you. I was hoping you didn't come back over on me. LOL the way I was running it was going to end poorly for me.

So lets see:

After I did some research on my past losing hands for the past week and a half I found that to my surprise I actually played pretty well. Out of 17 hand where I lost 1/2 a buy-in or more I only played 2 hands poorly and from what I can tell none of them looked like tilt type plays/hands. This made me feel pretty good that my big losing hands are those where I'm just getting out drawn by the river. As frustrating as it is to lose this way it's much better than finding out it was mostly bad plays.

So tonight I decided I wanted to simplify my game a little and get some volume in. I decided to play as many tables as I was mentally able to do. I started out with 6 and got it up to 9 by the end of the night. When I say simplify I mean I will only play premium hands. I started out doing just that but as the night when on I was able to pay attention to all the action and actually steal blinds. Towards the end I also started 3-betting way more than I usually do. I think I got lucky that I was running well but my thought process was that if I had a hand I wanted to play I was raising it. If I didn't think my hand/position weren't good then I would fold. I'm sure I'm calling way too many raises and in general being too passive.

So I did up the aggression tonight while trying to make sure I didn't get out of control and just start spewing chips.

As far as the night went... I ran into a ton of sets but for the most part I lost min. $ which is good.

I had a huge suck out near the end of the night. I was in SB with JJ. UTG calls .02... folds to me and I raise it up to .08. UTG re-raises to .21 and I call
Flop comes JAQ I bet .31 UTG raises to .81 and I call. Villain has AA set over set... Turn is a T and the River is a J for a 4 of a kind

Can I say how good it feels to finally be on the other end of a hand like this. Now with that said... that's what you get for just flatting pre-flop UTG with AA.

Anyways I finally had a decent night. I can't tell you the last time the cards were just falling right for most of the night. I don't get many nights like this so I will enjoy it because I know the ugly stick is right around the corner. It's also nice to not post something where I'm complaining.

Just ran a 500 hand session and taking a break before heading back to the tables. I was down a little over a buy-in at one point but managed to get most of it back. Think I ended down 0.25 so I'll take it. The sets are still being nasty but to be fair that is how I got most of my money back.

So have a question... I'm way removed from high school but I'm pretty sure high school girls don't have breast implants... correct? Reason I ask is in the movie Final Destination 3 the two girls who go to the sun tan booths and get fried... The blonde chick has fake boobs... This movie is based off of high school kids... Am I missing something here? LOL Ultimately it doesn't matter because I get to see boobs. Not to mention this part of the movie makes me laugh as they are getting crispy as hell... what an awful way to die.

2nd session was a struggle. I couldn't string together 2 or 3 winning hands in a row to get over the hump. Every time I win a hand I would lose a hand. I was about break even all night but shut it down because I couldn't take it anymore. I tried laughing off the ridiculousness of it all but I ended the session when my KK got stacked against T3s. WTF can I please at least get f&cked by something that is respectable. Not sure how I don't get stacked... Flop 377 Turn 10 and River is a 3. Obviously I got him all in on the Turn where I was only a 91% chance to win. I mean at least it wasn't 95% right? So you play all night trying to win back money from beats like this. I do a decent job of getting my money back to even only to have 1 hand like this set me right back to where I was 30 min. before. You grind and grind and grind only to have 1 or 2 hands put you all the way back...

I really do wonder how I was ever winning as much as I was when I first started this challenge. I almost had doubled my original deposit at one point and now I can't even win 1 buy-in 2 nights in a row. I honestly don't get it and I'm at a loss. IMO I'm doing a really good job of not playing any hands on tilt. I've been doing amazing at taking breaks when I know I'm pissed. I don't know what the answer is. I even feel I'm not playing Axs hand like I use to... I feel I fixed that leak... I don't play every pocket pr like I use to... again another leak I had. I really feel I'm playing OK poker I just can't string consecutive winning hands together. Last night was the first night where I was winning multiple hands in a row... and shockingly I actually won a few buy-ins. Amazing what can happen when you hand holds. F&cking T3s sigh!

Welp another losing night... at least I didn't just waste 3 1/2 hours of my night.

Haven't played any poker since last post. After re-reading that post it look like that is a good thing. Sounds like I needed some time away from the pokers. Good thing I've been too busy to play... with that said I'm going to try to put in a little session tonight. I miss playing and I want to put myself in a bad mood so what better way than to play poker and get my nuts bashed in.

Don't have much to say about poker right now so I thought I would post a few pics of what I've been working on at the farm house. Tomorrow I should be just about done with the horse area. I had to put in (23) 4x4 posts and (2) 6x6 posts, about 1 mile of electrical polytape, a gate and get part of the barn ready as a stall. Oh not to mention about (40) wheelbarrow full of dirt to get the floor leveled. If the house wasn't costing a fortune I would have like to have gotten a tractor with a bucket but I have to spend the money on priorities and not wants. LOL Maybe next year I can get that tractor...

Anyways here are some before and after pics of the horse area:

Stall before all the dirt was brought in and walls put up:

Stall after all the dirt was brought in and wall put up:

View of the stall looking out to the pasture:

View of the pasture before the posts or polytape fence:

Stay tuned as I'm sure I will be on later to b&tch about how poker isn't fair.

Well I finally get a min. to play some poker and it looks like ACR has done a major overhaul on their site. I'm struggling to figure everything out and hating every moment of it. I'm not a huge fan of change...ever. So much isn't working... can't auto top... can't use my PT4... Can't see where people are from anymore or what year they joined the site... This sucks... the only thing I see that has stayed the same is watching my JJ get stacked against 9J. Flop was 972 Get is all in on Flop... Turn 9 and clearly no J on the river. So at least the site is still rewarding bad calls so there is that. Good to see that part hasn't changed.

With PT4 not working I have no idea how I can keep track of hands played and money won or lost and all that other happy horse sh&t I like to update. I guess for now this challenge in on hold until PT4 comes up with an update that will work with this crap they call an update. Awful IMHO.

I guess I will just go play some hands and see if I can't get use to the new look and feel of things... not that half the site isn't working... Garbage!

I wonder how everyone else is liking the revamping of ACR. To be completely honest even if everything was working right I don't really see where this is any better than what it was. I mean I don't see anything visually that is much different. Sure the cards are dealt differently but not necessarily better. IDK So far I'm not impressed at all. To have this many problems with what looks to be min. change is bizarre to me.

So I've been able to play 2 nights in a row. Have no idea how much I'm down or how many hands I've played. I've only played 3 tables max as I don't have my HUD to help me. I'm trying to pay more attention to the table without it. In those two day I had 3 hands where I got stacked. All three hand I was ahead when the money went in but not by the river. All 3 of those hands the villain reached a str8. I'm guessing someday those hands will actually hold. I mean it seems if you are 70-90% to win when the money goes in then I shouldn't be losing 75% of them. The math doesn't seem to work.
I did manage to almost triple up when my KK actually held up. I was floored... I really thought the site was broke. So in the 2 days I'm still probably down a buy-in or so but I really have no way of knowing. I wonder if I will be able to recover these hands that I've played and add them to my PT4. I'd like to get credit towards my million hands. I guess we will see.

One thing I would like for them to fix sooner than later which doesn't seem like it should be that f&cking hard is to automatically top me off. Annoying... great update when 80% of the sh&t doesn't work. LOL Oh well at least I'm not b&tching about it.

So far it sucks a$$. I put in so much volume to get to the next points level and was on pace to finish my goal early. Now, the site is a wreck. And who knows if it is even tracking play. Tried to 7-9 table and that was a nightmare. Was able to do 5, but was getting so many bad beats. And with no HUD couldn't tell who or what type of player I was playing against. So many flat calls, no chance to 3bet big hands, even when i did I was still getting 3 players min to a flop. Just like you said it was very hard to tell how much you are up or down.
So with that being said looks like poker is on hold for a while. I looked into other sites but, the traffic sucks. Not to mention one of the sites (Bovada/Ignition)you can't even tell how many cash tables are open.

Well it's been what... a week and this site is still a f&cking joke. Nothing has changed in a week. I looked at other sites as well and Carbon doesn't seem to have the traffic this site has. As well as the micro level is higher than what I'm currently playing at. Living in NY my options are limited. I guess this is what I'm stuck with. Thank you NY for dragging your f&cking feet so we have to play sites like this. OK well I guess I've done enough ranting. I guess I'll go play some sh&tty poker... where I can't use my HUD or Top Up or play more than 4 tables or on and on and on..

I'm mostly p&ssed I can't keep track of hands and stats... I'm playing all this poker and not getting credit towards my goal.

So I found one thing the site kept... it is the BS beats... at least it kept something from the old days.

Well it has been a good ride.

Calling this challenge over... the site wins... KK vs TT all in and board runs 4 of a kind Tens. I'm just not made out for this game. BR is down to 5.00 and I'm done playing. I guess I will find something else I'm better at.

Thanks all for following me to this point and I hope you all run better than I run.

GL all.
