ty for the feedback!

mostly just a function of 4 ways + very high SPR + OOP to competent V etc

I’m sure we can do a ton of things depending on our overall strat, this line could be bad from us here
——-

I think a few things pushed me toward a fold in this river spot eventually. Some rationalizations~

1. Price isn’t amazing
2. We’ll have many better hands
3. V bet into three players otf
4. V is aware enough to go as thin as 2p

etc

All that being said, V definitely can be getting super OOL and if that’s the case we do have to read his soul and take a stand as the live regs like to say.

So I don’t mind calling, it can be tough as it’s usually a pretty big guessing game when we don’t beat value vs an overbet

200nl

Main V (BB) is unknown recreational. BTN is a reg

OTTH

Pre-flop: Hero opens $6 EP with A Q. btn calls. Main V overcalls BB.

Flop ($19): A 9 4. BB checks. Hero checks. btn checks back.

Turn ($19): A 9 4 Q. V probes $19 BB. Hero raises to $52.. Btn folds. BB calls.

River ($123): A 9 4 Q 8 V checks.

Hero? $142E behind.

turn sizing was misclick- meant to go larger

400nl

V is the superstar mega maniac from a lot of the AK HHs. big fan of jamming 109, 108 kinda stuff.

wasn’t tilted at the time of the HH

Spoiler:

$800E

OTTH

Pre-flop: Folds to V, who opens $14 SB. Hero 3b $56 BB with K Q. V snap jams $800E.

Hero?

I’m also wondering if I should be 3b vs this specific V given the dynamic. It’s pretty tricky bc V will be opening a ton of trash and I think a lot of that just calls?
